For YEARS I have been yearning to have lash extensions but never treated myself for various reasons. The biggest reason why I hadn't done it is because I didn't want my natural lashes to fall out and leave gaps. I've meet many estitecians that perform this service but chose to never try it. Yesterday I finally had Val do my lashes and I am in LOVE! Because my lashes are very fine and short, we kept the length natural looking but I feel like I have movie-star lashes. It's fun to wake up and look pretty and not have to take the additional time to put on mascara, which usually ended up under my eyes, although I know all the tricks. Super disappointed in my results of a lash lift. I've been getting them for years and decided to…read moretry this spot upcountry. As the picture shows it did not lift. Technician claimed to have lifted them twice but I've noticed she missed some steps during the process. I only know because I use to perform lash lifts in the past. She didn't tape or put down eye pads to protect the bottom lashes, which resulted in her pulling my eyes apart (while closed btw) . With my eyes closed, shields on top of my lids and my lashes already glued to the shields she then asked me to open my eyes so that my bottom ones would separate from my top. Not only was this uncomfortable but I have never had to nor asked a client to that. I had to go home and also wash my eyes because she did not rinse or tried to wipe my lids off and left lash lift glue all stuck to the top of both my eyelids and lashes. While the lift was setting she proceeded to go into the other room and start emptying her rubbish cans and either breaking down boxes or opening boxes. She then returns (hands unwashed) and touches my face! This is the worst experience I've gotten with a Lash Lift and hate to critique it so bad but I wouldn't want anyone else wasting money... Maybe they are better at waxing.

Lash Loft is located in the loft of the Sherman Williams Building. The cozy and glamorous Botique is a newer addition to the neighborhood and the best kept secret. Not a gem a freaking DIAMOND! Lauren has the patience of a saint for those new to the process. In October 2016 I had permanent upper and lower eyeliner done by Emmi…read more She advised me it would fade over time and from all the research I did prior to having the procedure done, I was able to confirm and verify that. However, almost five years later, it's darker, has smudged, migrated and is thicker on one eye. On May 3rd 2020, I contacted Emmi to express my concerns. She never responded. I have been using soft pink and flesh colored eyeliner makeup to cover it. After many consultations and research, I decided on laser removal. This was an incredibly painful procedure and left me swollen with black eyes and my eyelashes turned white and fell out. I'll know more in a few weeks whether I need another round of laser or if I can live with the residual. Two MD's who specialize in in cosmetic and laser procedures informed me most likely ink was used instead of pigment, which fades. Emmi is a very nice person with a gorgeous salon. I originally (2016) posted a rave review on Yelp because I loved my new eyeliner. I've since removed that review after realizing that after 4+ years, my eyeliner is not fading and isn't going to. I never would have done this if I knew it was literally "permanent" and does NOT fade.
