Being pregnant is hard enough without having to find new clothes. My wife would go from store to store looking to see if there were maternity clothes and came up with nil. Old Navy had maybe one rack in the entire store while other stores had "online only" options. That's where Rosy Glow comes in. She stumbled upon a few of these local stores that have maternity items that she can try on and it really made her day. She was able to find a number of clothes both for now as well as nursing shirts and dresses for afterwards. Having a place like this is also great because you're supporting local businesses. I've been here twice. The first time was excellent. There seemed to be a fairly decent selection and I found a few items that I liked, including a couple of maternity dresses. The second time was less than stellar. The salesperson arrived twenty minutes late. There were significantly fewer items for sale. There were very few dresses actually available to purchase; most were in the Rent the Runway section (which - $35 to rent a dress? You can find many maternity dresses online for a little more). When I inquired about a few dresses on the floor, she said they were only for rent (why not put them with the rest of the runway items, then?). When I was checking out, the salesperson made a comment that one of the items I was purchasing came in damaged so she just jerry-rigged it back together.
