This was something I was putting off for 2 years due to it not being urgent and fear of having surgery but Dr. Frederick explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions which made me feel comfortable compared to the other 2 doctors I met with prior. I had a wonderful first time surgery experience with Dr. Frederick and the rest of my care team from North Fulton Outpatient Surgery center. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Frederick and that he would take good care of me and he did just that. My husband & sister were very impressed with Dr. Frederick as well as he took the time to explain the procedure to them the day of and answered all of their questions. He also called my husband immediately after the surgery to give him an update on how everything went which my husband very much appreciated as he was worried himself in the waiting room. Over the past 2 months I have recommended two of my coworkers to this practice for regular GYN care and first time OB care and they both had great experiences with the nurse practitioners that they saw. One of my coworkers even recommended her sister who came back with great reviews as well. Dr. Frederick hires the best doctors, midwives & nurse practitioners so whoever you see here you will be in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Frederick and his team for any and all OB-GYN services that you may need. They have two office locations: Roswell & Johns Creek and delivery at North Fulton Hospital & Emory Johns Creek hospital.

When labs were redone the office didn't even run them because "insurance wouldn't cover it since labs were already done that year and they didn't think she would want" didn't even ask. Although ovarian cancer doesn't show up on routine labs more should have been done. I am aware the signs of ovarian cancer are common symptoms BUT as a doctor you should check all your boxes before sending someone off. If this would've been caught earlier my mom may very well still be alive.

I told the doctor I was considering a home birth but wasn't sure since I'm 35. The Ultrasound tech said there was a tiny spot of old blood in the uterus that she wouldnt even say anything about but wanted me to know in case I had some mild dark spotting. She said I could come back in two weeks to confirm it was gone in a follow up ultrasound. I did not have any spotting and when the time came near to return for the follow up, I called the nurse and let her know I wanted to decline the follow up ultrasound (which went along with seeing the doctor to discuss it I guess). A week later, I got a certified mailed letter terminating me as a patient because I canceled my appointment and because I "have decided on a home birth". My preferred doctor was not available for these appointments and I made them under pressure. I never even saw my preferred provider to discuss the home birth choice and now I never will I guess because she has terminated me as a patient. After ten years. Incredible. I had a horrible experience delivering my first child with Roswell OBGYN and that's why I was considering a home birth. The standards of practice are intrusive and the staff are condescending, rude, and do anything BUT trust a mothers instincts. The doctors have the worst bedside manner possible and the wait times are ridiculous. Women, do not give this practice your time and money. They see you as a number and a check box to mark off their list.

The woman with short curly hair and glasses spoke in Spanish to the other lady that was upfront and stated to her "she has no insurance and last time I talked with her she had miscarriage. Something is wrong with her". YES! Those exact words! Now.. the lady with short curly hair calls me upfront and confirms that I have no insurance.. then she reminds me that I had a miscarriage back in December and states "there's no way you are pregnant! You couldn't have possibly ovulated yet". At this point I wanted to rip her hair off ...being pregnant, anxious and annoyed. But I didn't. I peed in the cup and gave them a sample.. next thing you know 3 of the admins yelled "she's pregnant!"... I was like I told you so.. I cannot believe they called me crazy and told me I couldn't be pregnant. In conclusion, that woman that is NOT a doctor and runs this office and makes false accusations and makes patients feel like crap. I didn't see the doctor that day because of her snarky comments. Instead I went to a different OB-GYN and did a blood test back to back to make sure the baby is developing properly and is in the right place. And sure enough, I am over 6 weeks pregnant now with no issues. I scheduled my 8 weeks appointment with a different OB-GYN. The amount of unprofessionalism, the remarks and how they all made me feel that day is unbelievable and I do not wish anyone else to experience this. Please do not go there! It's not worth it.

I was truly in a state of terror while signing documentation during my pre-op for my surgery. While Dr. vinokur was unable to sit with me and provide comfort and reassurance (due to having other patients and procedures) Dr. Carrie and Ms. Karen both came to speak with me and make sure that I knew what to expect and help put my fears at ease. Both of these ladies, Karen and Carrie(sp?), went ABOVE and BEYOND for me. They even offered to set aside time in their schedule to hold my hand during my surgery. These two women, specifically, truly embody care and strength. They believe in advocating for their patients and actually LISTENING to the concerns of those that they serve. I could go on and on, but I will end with this: if you are looking for a caring, kind, understanding, compassionate, and intelligent office, then look no further. And make sure you ask for Carrie and Karen for EXCEPTIONAL support. i would like to add that i TRUST Dr.Vinokur and her competency to do a GREAT job in regards to procedures and medical care for her patients. I have seen other reviews regarding her bedside manner. Let me make that clear: she is more "to the point" and not as empathetic. HOWEVER, as previously mentioned, the rest of the office IS very compassionate. I trust Dr. Vinokur to do an INCREDIBLE job in my upcoming procedure and for empathy and compassion I would direct concerns to, as previously mentioned, the OUTSTANDING women that support her. Dr. Vinokur is intelligent and competent, while Carrie, Karen, and the other women in the office exceed expectations as it pertains to bedside manner, trauma-informed care, and active listening. I understand that doctors get behind, the problem was- no one communicated this to me. I checked after I had been waiting about 20 minutes to make sure I had my appointment time right. That would have been the perfect opportunity to let me know they're running an hour and a half behind. Then, the doctor saw me leaving, said nothing besides "so I'm going to the next room?". The office manager asked if I needed help and I told her I had been waiting an hour and a half and I would like my records. She apologized and that was it. The communication, wait time and lack of concern about a patient leaving the practice shows me exactly how important their patients are.

Disappointing Experience…read more I was disappointed with my experience, especially with the front office staff. The attitude and communication were not what I expected from a professional medical facility. When I checked in, I was told that my insurance was accepted, and I was asked to provide a credit card to keep on file. Based on that conversation, I understood that my insurance would be properly processed and that I would be informed of any additional charges before my card was charged. Several days later, I received a hospital bill/charge that I was not expecting. I was not clearly informed that I would be responsible for this amount or that my card could be charged for the balance. I understand that insurance claims and billing can sometimes be complicated, but patients deserve clear communication about what they may owe. The front office should explain any potential out-of-pocket costs and charges before billing the patient. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both customer service and communication with patients.

While the nurse practitioner that I saw a few times there was nice enough, I never actually met the doctor that I was assigned to (Dr. Vukotic). She never bothered to introduce herself on any of my visits. I wanted this to be my primary care office but they simply do not care. I was experiencing pain and reached out various times about it. I had to push to get scans done to find out what was going on. Despite more than one alarming result from the scans, I NEVER heard back from the doctor or the office at all. It has been nearly a year since I had the scans they ordered (only because I advocated for myself and they wanted to shut me up). NOBODY reached out to me to discuss the results or to even follow up on how I was feeling. I was left to Google explanations of these results because nobody bothered to reach out. I was worried about some of the findings, which seemed serious, so I sought out a different doctor and office. They acted quickly to address my concerns and referred me to other specialists. I ended up having surgery. The only communication I had received from North Roswell Internal Medicine since my scans was a handful of promotional emails about something they were selling. That is, until today when I received an automated email reminder that I was "overdue" for my annual wellness visit. I am not overdue for anything, but they are overdue in noticing that I exist and had medical needs they completely neglected. They did the same thing with my husband. He also had something come up that they received results for but they have not reached out to him either. He and I and our adult son all changed doctor's offices because these people are a joke and don't care about their patients at all. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this practice and wish I had an option to rate them negatively because that is what they deserve.
