James was very patient and knowledgeable of any question I asked throughout the lesson. He started at the very basics to lay the foundation of what driving a manual car is and by the end of the lesson I felt confident and comfortable with my abilities to operate a stick shift vehicle. He breaks down the lesson into parts so you have the opportunity to really grasp the information he is giving and makes it easy for beginners to really get the hang of operating the vehicle. James was great about making me get out of the car to take breaks and won't push you out of your comfort zone if you don't feel up for something yet. Overall, James was a fantastic instructor and was able to keep calm and give great direction when he noticed I was doing something incorrectly. I highly recommend booking a lesson with James if you are someone with little to no experience, like I was, and want to walk out of the lesson feeling comfortable to drive a stick shift vehicle.

Their team was very professional from the signup and explanation of the program (Lauren) to the administration of the schedule (Denise) to the instruction (Christopher). The owner was very kind and considerate and went way well and beyond his job title including allowing me to talk to him on his personal phone I really do appreciate all that he has put into it I also want to thank Lindsey for her hard work and her determination to help us get everything done. I did have a minor setback on the 1st class I took with Eric he was going over how much money he made and talking about oh he had 7 figures this that and the other was very vague in a lot of the description and wasted my time. He made you feel bad for being his "business". He worked with her on areas she needed more experience and guidance in order to improve (highway driving & parallel parking, among other things) and she is coming out of this a much stronger, safer and more confident driver. He was communicative and clear with us and was friendly and put her at ease during the lessons.

When I contacted DriversEd for a refund via online chat, I was referred to a different dept and asked to call a different number. UPDATE: finally spoke to someone at DriversEd.com who was polite, receptive and sympathetic. Apologized for the runaround and inconvenience and offered to process my refund immediately (after the 1 to 2 week turnaround she said to expect.) so...now still no driving lessons but waiting for refund.

He showed up late and cancelled. But his body language was jumpy..... They held my daughter's certificate because of her permit number that I gave to them 2 times before..... Eddie offered a $20 off if I opted for road test service that was written our contact (the same contract I would have to abide by). The company wouldn't honor the discount stating he doesn't know due to being in the field. The only reason I am giving them any stars is because of instructor Tonie McMurray. He has the demeanor needed for learning teens. Even though I didnt want to spend any money with DriversEd.com for her road test because of their service, Tonie is the only reason why I did anyway. I requested him, he came and handled everything and my daughter passed on her first attempt. If I could rate Tonie as an individual, he would get 5 stars.

If you are a minority, I would NOT recommend this driving company because if they employed Karlene, I can't imagine the other instructors to be any better.

What they don't tell you is the behind the wheel driving portion requires a separate registration from the classroom, and the driving portion is very hard to sign up for. One entire classroom day was spent with a driving simulator, except only four students got to try the simulator making it a wasted day for everyone else. The person who answers the phone cannot answer any questions and just asks you to call later. It is very poorly run. I would not recommend this program for teen drivers.
