They subbed it for syrup and oat milk and the drink was blah. The service is so slow but they do have a paper on most tables saying that this isn't a fast food place so it was going to take time. It took us about 30 mins to get our drinks. My friends got the cucumber boat which was really good but their food came out way before their drinks. We sat at a table that people had just left and their coffee cups were there so we moved them to the side assuming someone would pick them up. They remained there with us for the 2 hrs we were there. I had seen in an earlier review that they asked the people to move 2 times which I thought was crazy.... But I did hear them asking people to move so other people can sit at their table. The atmosphere and vibes are really nice. Loved the book wall. The tables and seating is really cool but it was busy the whole time we were there from 1-3:00.... And people sit for hours. So make sure you're not in a hurry when you come check this place out. I believe they recently opened so I'll probably go back in a couple of months to give them another shot. Also, why does the business not post their drink menu on any of their socials.... what's the big secret.

But this place is surely charming and the service is excellent. We had the chicken salad croissant sandwiches and ham and cheese sandwiches too. Also a plus was they allowed us to bring fruit and veggie for snacks and they arranged them in cute platters as well we brought a cake and other treats. They also had hats to wear to get into the tea party mood! The only thing I might say is think about party games or entertainment for any gathering. We brought cards and board games to play. Throughout the whole party everyone was accommodating and helpful which was wonderful.

The space is adorable, with a modern aesthetic seemingly inspired by Frida Kahlo--colorful and floral. I ordered an iced latte, which was very well balanced--not overly sweet and still flavorful. Most of the staff primarily spoke Spanish, but they were able to accommodate English-speaking guests as well. For breakfast, I went with the chicken chilaquiles, and man oh man, was I impressed! The chips had great texture for being smothered in toppings. They were thick enough to maintain their structural integrity while still being thin enough to soak up all the delicious flavors from the toppings--perfectly crunchy-chewy. The portion was generous, and every ingredient came together well. What started as a quick coffee stop before hitting the road turned into one of those unexpected dining experiences that ends up being a highlight of the trip.
