Robert and his crew are lifesavers. We had to have my parents moved out of their rental home of 30 years in 5 days. This was a 3 bedroom house with large laundry room and Garage. My parents had saved EVERYTHING to the point of becoming hoarders. Robert and his crew came in and packed everything and moved it all from the house to to a storage unit (about 25 miles each way) within the allotted time and even did two enormous dump runs after the move. Beware! I had booked with Robert Rossi about 4 weeks before my move. What I needed were his services to unload my Uhaul when I got to my new home from Portland. 5 days before I was to move down to GP I sent Robert a text. He did not respond. I gave it 24 hours. He did not respond. Then I called him. His voice mail was full. I called several times over the next 2 days. With 2 days to spare, I came back on YELP and literally Yelped for help! Within minutes I got call from another local mover ready, able and willing to help just when I needed them. (I will be posting rave reviews on their page.) so, just a word to the wise. My job was small, as it just involved moving a very heavy treadmill to an upstairs location. Robert responded within about a day, and was available to come by the following day. He arrived on schedule. He was very helpful with unpacking and careful with walls and cabinets he and his assistant had to maneuver around. He was also friendly and is a fellow dog lover. Well at first I though he was great. He pack the truck tightly. Then when he unloaded my stuff into a storage unit I told him to stack it tight and high to take full advantage of the space. He did not. He took up most the storage area, hardly stacked anything and when I reminded him that it needed to be stack he still didn't do it. He said he could come back and do when I brought more stuff in. Not only that but I also hired him to do a dump run for me the next day which he agreed to. He never showed up, never called, never returned any if my calls. What a disappointment all around. I highly recommend you find someone that listens to your requests and shows up when he says he will. Not cool Robert. Totally unprofessional and not worth the money. read more

TOP NOTCH, others who complain, not sure what your problems were but I changed the number of pieces, the dates, at least 3 times with Robert. He was patient, adjusted the size of truck needed and showed up at the first stop of 3 from Medford back to our Grants Pass home. No complaining, no problems, Henry & Robert were fast, efficient and polite. King Sized bed, 2 large and heavy credenzas, night stand, easy chair, couch & love seat. Plenty of moving blankets, handled our items as if their own. End of the move Robert outlined all charges, fuel, rental of truck, quite reasonable and could not have asked for better service. I have worked with numerous movers the past 25 years and Robert and his crew will be our company of choice. Robert, get ready for the pool table move, and thank you for a job well done. read more

This moving team is the best moving experience I have ever had. They did non-stop moving for six hours straight to finish my move on time. They are personable as well as skilled at getting even the largest items upstairs without a scratch or nick on walls or furniture. If I ever move again I will be sure to use them again. read more

Very Happy and Returning Customer! Two very strong guys showed up, one of them being Robert Rossi, and worked nearly the whole day until the job was done. I am a long time customer and never had an issue with them. They are Very pleasant to work with! They tailored what they did to my expectations, with No attitude or complaints, and they seemed very happy to help!! They had their own trailer and helped me move TONNES of equipment, furniture, and boxes! They went above and beyond. A proposed one hour job turned into me needing more help and they stayed after dinner for a total of about 8 hours. They are actually the most affordable in Southern Oregon, but I actually would have paid TOP price for them because I feel they do Good Honest work and do a great job! After seeing some negative reviews here, I LITERALLY AM SHOCKED, and don't believe them! I think the majority of the reviews are the competition. Libel and defamation I thought was illegal!!! Take my advice and don't trust anything you read on the internet! Especially if there is any form of anonymity with a review of attack attached to it. read more

Robert and his partner did an outstanding job for me. Loaded a 16' PODS container as full as it could get in a few hours. That included time to disassemble several large pieces of furniture, wrap them carefully in blankets, and pack them. They did all of that with a smile on their faces! A nightmare! Do NOT use these movers if you are planning a long distance move. Robert came to our home and gave us a price. I personally set up the move date with him. I also called him a couple of weeks before the move with several questions. When I called the night before the move, Robert said he forgot to reserve the trucks. He doesn't own his own truck. He would not talk to me, only text, did not offer an alternative date or an apology. He stopped returning our texts at noon of moving day and would not return calls. We hired another mover who was able to help us move a week later. Don't understand how someone could treat others this way. Terrible businessman! read more

I requested a quote online to move a very large & heavy piece of furniture. Rossi came in the lowest, and I told him he had the job on Monday. He said he could do it Wed. or Thur. I provided the pickup and destination addresses and phone numbers... and never heard anything again. He never replied to email or phone messages. Needless to say, we found someone else. Sure, it was a small job, but at least send a text and say you can't do it! read more

Where to begin...He came did the bid and was more reasonable that the other two I'd priced out. His Angie's list profile said the he was insured, so I went with him. Showed up with two helpers. From the start it was obvious that he had overbooked and over committed because he was agitated with his workers and cussing at them through much of the move. My things did not fit in the truck he recommended so I had to call friends to help. The move went smoothly until they had to reassemble a bed (one that I recommended they write down steps to as they disassembled because it had been complicated to put together.) While the two helpers worked on the bed Robert worked on hooking up my washer and dryer. He was trying to get done with it as quickly as possible because the other guys could not get the bed together. They were already late for the next appointment. They finally finished, well later than he predicted so I was charged more than the bid. The next day I realized that not only had he not connected my dryer to the vent he had broken it. This was verified by the repairman. I contacted Robert who swore there was no way he had broken it. I had him talk to the repairman who said there is no way the person who hooked the dryer up did not break it. I asked for his insurance information. He is not a licensed or insured mover. I offered to pay half of the repair if he would pay half. He agreed. For two months he promised to stop by my house, meet me in Medford, in Ashland, call me. He never showed and then stopped returning my calls. Not professional, not insured, mover beware. read more

horrible!! he didnt call to cancel!! he left me hanging with a u-haul truck paid for sitting in front if my house!!. yesterday morning instead of being there at 9am, he called and said he would be there at 11:30 am. when he didn't show up at 11:30, i called and texted, and he never returned my call. i spoke with robert 2 weeks prior to yesterday's move. he seemed nice enough. he gave me 2 references and i spoke to them. he seemed to have everything arranged. do not use this man unless you want to take the chance he me leave you hanging with everything ready to move and no muscle power, blankets or dolly!!!! read more

Not even sure where to start. Robert Rossi himself is extremely unprofessional. After he overbooked himself, I got yelled at when I insisted on keeping our original moving time and date .. and thats not the worst of it. We moved out of state, and when we arrived in New Mexico (about 8 days ago), we had over $2000 in damages to our stuff. Things were packed and loaded incorrectly. No straps were used, and we used our own blankets (which were all destroyed with the move). We had a destroyed bookcase, a mutilated dresser, 2 torn ottomans (both leather). A busted fire pit, broken master bedroom dresser ... and thats just the start of it. I would attach pictures if I could. The only good thing I have to say about Rossi moving is the two young men carrying things into the truck were very nice. DO NOT. I repeat ... DO NOT use Rossi moving. read more

These guys really are as good as it gets! Robert (the owner) and one of his assistants (Henry) came to help my family move from an upstairs apartment location. I was incredibly impressed with their professionalism, packing expertise and endurance. I suggested twice prior to the moving day I thought we would need more man power, however Robert said we would be okay; and we certainly were. At our new location Robert told me my dryer plug was not going to work with the existing plug. He told us if we got the part he would change it out - we did and he did - no extra charge. He also noticed a couple of screws missing on a piece of furniture and replaced those for us as well - no extra charge. Every piece of furniture and box was handled with care and expertise. He came with packing pads, dollies and much much more; again at no additional cost. I have moved enough to be savvy to good movers and not so good; my review for Rossi Moving is they are GREAT. Great value, Great expertise, Great attitude and at the end of the day he even had a phone number for a cleaning service. I hired her to come the next day. So add to my praises - Great referrals too. Rossi Moving is on time oh - and when all was said and done - one of their services included sweeping out the Uhaul I rented and picking up any bits of trash off the drive way and street. I had a grand piano to move about 40 miles from Ashland and gave Robert a call. He gave me an estimate over the phone and we made an appointment. Robert and Henry showed up with a trailer. piano board and lots of pads, straps and plastic wrap. They got right to work. A grand requires some dis-assembly as well as muscle to get it on the piano board. They wrapped the legs nicely in pads, labeled them for the re-assembly and loaded it up. Unloading went faster and it was setup and working fine. When he first showed up with his trailer made from a pickup truck box I was not sure they could get the job done. However, he was able to maneuver the trailer by hand across my lawn right to the door and it turns out better than a big box truck for the task. Roberts is way better than the group of friends you pay with pizza and much more reasonable than the big guys. Just right for me. Rossi says he specializes in moving large furniture such pool tables, gun safes, hot tubs and pianos. I would use his services again. He was on time, on budget, pleasant and hard working. read more

He told me he hoped the two ladies he left stranded with no help got really hot in the sun and he was glad he caused me to miss a day at the beach with my 10 year old son.
