Today was my first visit to the Ross store in Menifee. I've shopped at the Temecula location without any problems. This store is a total disappointment. They have zero customer service. I walked in with the goal of buying a single pair of dress shoes for work. I found a pair of inexpensive looking black flats. I checked the price and size and the sticker stated $9.99. I tried on the same shoe in two different sizes and two different widths so I tried on a total of 4 variations of the same shoe. Each shoe had the $9.99 sticker inside. I inspected each pair for scuffs and defects. I noticed the shoes had a single digit number written on the bottom with some kind of marker. One pair had a 7, one pair had a 15 etc. When I got to the front to check out the cashier (385512) looked at me and said "Sorry, but just to let you know these shoes will be $14.99." I was shocked. The shoes rang up $9.99 and here is this arrogant cashier telling me that he will take the authority to change the price to $14.99. He then told me the number 15 scribbled on the sole of the shoe meant it costs $14.99 and that customers switch the stickers. I told him that's not the only pair at that price there are several back there with the same $9.99 Ross sticker and bar code. Which by the way had a description that 100% matched the shoe. He arrogantly argued with me and flat out refused to honor the price. I told him by law he had to. He claimed that 15 minutes prior the same thing happens with another customer. I asked him to call a manager. The manager Brenda doesnt ask me how I am, doesn't greet me just looks at the shoe, peels off the untampered with sticker to reveal and second sticker with the same item number, keys it in and tells him that the shoe really is $9.99! He argued with me, sent me through all that stress and he was 100% wrong. This wasn't a case where the sticker didn't match the shoe, or where the item number and description was different. He just took it upon himself to play investigator and point is....he had no idea what he was talking about. Brenda didn't apologize to me at all and the cashier offered a half effort "I'm sorry about all of that." They also have a security guard at the front who stood there and watched me the whole 10 mins I was in the store then asked if I was okay because my 2 year old daughter was crying. I will never step foot inside this raggedy, poorly stocked, disorganized trashy Ross store. Stick to the Ross in Temecula! What happened to the customer is always right? Who argues with a customer over a few bucks on an item that scanned at the correct price on top of that? Insanity! Train your employees right! When I worked in retail years ago it was obvious if a sticker was switched, the description in the computer wouldn't match and you could tell the sticker was reattached. It wouldn't be smooth. Also there are item numbers inside of the shoes as well. Next I will write corporate. I'm not in the habit of spending my money in places that treat their shoppers like dirt. I love shopping at Macy's, Kohls and JC Penney's and this would never fly there. read more

This place just keeps getting worse every time I stop in to give it another shot. Great prices on products if you can handle shopping in a dirty store with minimal organization and shotty customer service. read more

The fact that I can't give Ross 0 stars makes me upset. Anyway, let's start with the fact that every time my husband or my father in law walk in the door they seem to get followed by loss protection. Or how rude it is that now they don't even give you your receipt, you have to get it on your own. Or that they call the next guest up while you are still trying to grab your bags and pick up you own receipt. Or how when I got hired as a sales associate they had me working stocking and when I told them I was pregnant and couldn't be lifting heavy items on doctors orders, they told me to give my letter of resignation. Don't let pictures fool you. This Ross is by far the dirtiest one and stuff scattered everywhere especially around the beginning of the month. read more

Let me start by saying that I was a former Ross associate back in Hawaii. With that being said I know what should be expected of associates. First off, I was greeted upon entering by the SPS. The store was clean, most likely because I came in early before savage customers came to wreck the store. I went straight to the juniors section to look for clothes for work and it was very well stocked! There was a girl doing her sizing in that section and she greeted me. I went to try on the items I found and the fitting room lady doesn't have much personality. I got that vibe like she didn't want to be there (I know cause I've probably gave off that vibe before on a bad day). After getting out of the fitting room I had some time to kill so I continued to browse around the store. I was walking pass the home section and the same girl greeted me again while running stuff back out on to the floor and the SPS was walking the floor and also greeted me again too. Went to check out, there was no line and the cashier followed proper scan/bag procedures and was really friendly. Overall, the store was clean and organized. Associates were very nice and I know they were on task! read more

Why do I even bother going in.... The moment I walk in, I just feel a nasty headache. Store is really disorganized, and stuff is just all over the place... I was there for a mere 3 mins and I had to walk out. read more

First thing this morning I get to work and I break my belt buckle and because I work so early no place to buy a belt was open and then out of the darkness came Ross open at 8:30 a.m. so now I don't have to hold my pants up anymore thanks Ross. read more

Quality is even worse and this Ross location was never anything all that special. I would check Out the TJ Max. You will find a higher volume of merchandise there. read more

I've been here on three occasions first to shop, second to return some stuff (hate trying out clothes). third time to shop and try the store out again. And I would say that all three times I've felt uncomfortable the employees are not friendly at all. The lines to check out are horrible.I can hear them talk about other customers and they even make unfriendly comments about the costumers children. That's were the line is cross. C'mon !!! so unnecessary and rude. I'll stick to t.j max and HomeGoods. Only have them a one star because there's no option for zero star read more

Found a cute outfit and a sweater for my niece. But the selection was limited on 4t. Long lines nothing new for Ross stores.

Great place to go shopping for great priced stylish items. I have found everything from homecoming dresses all the way to some pajamas at this store and I get most of me heels there. read more

Back to school shopping was a success only had to go to 3 stores, The Menifee Ross always has a better selection then the others. We found shorts and shirts for both boys. They are now ready to go for school this year!! read more

The store never has anything in my size , Is never full stocked of anything. I tried to buy a plain white dress shirt and they didnt even have one in my size. They seem to only stock for skinny people. They cant even keep a decent stock of underwear in my size either. This places blows big time , They need to keep this store stocked constantly! The one off murrieta hot springs is much better. What a shame the Menifee store is a joke. I live 3 blocks away read more

They hardly ever have any good items and the place is always dirty and disorganized. But what more do you want for a discount store.
