Other than the spring repair, they discussed other "wear 'n tear" hardware that should be replaced, and also gave estimates on full door replacements (wasn't interested at this time). No high pressure sales pitch, just options to consider. They also fixed the sensors that weren't working on the other door, and installed a wireless keypad for convenience's sake. I thought the final repair costs were reasonable. Very friendly and polite and knowledgeable!

I searched on Yelp for a company with good reviews and CSS popped up. They were swift in their response and came out the same day. What I most appreciate is their willingness to explain what was going on bc I absolutely have to understand WHY and WHAT is going on...just the way I'm wired. They were able to not only educate me on the broken coil, but showed me the work they performed. Service was relatively quick. I came out my pocket a couple of hundred for a new spring/coil...and their labor, etc. My house is 10 years old and I know my garage door isn't super high end and this is the first work I had to have done on it so I found the price to be reasonable. I would highly recommend CSS. I'm glad I went with them based off of other reviewers.

Called the first company and the voicemail was short and unprofessional. Called advantage and Michael picked up and very courteously took my info. To my surprise, he said he could be out in a couple of hours. Despite massive rain and atl traffic, showed up on time. Very courteous, obviously knew what he was doing. Replaced both springs and tuned up the chain for me. Ended up paying a little less than the last spring replacement, and that was 9 years ago. Great company, really impressed.

Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job.

They upgraded my openers for me and installed some reinforcement for the top of the door that should have already been there when we got the place. I received calls from all sorts of companies, but this one stood out because Seth took the time to ask detailed questions about what I wanted done and some of the things going on with the current system. He was friendly and professional the entire time. I got several quotes to replace my openers, did my comparisons for price and products, and Access Garage Doors was willing to work with me to match another national chains price but provide a longer warranty for the work done. I got a confirmation text for my appointment. I got a call/text notifying me of who would be coming, WITH a picture of my technician, when he was on his way. I am so glad I chose these guys. Seth has been my go-to technician from the beginning--no dispatch calls and misunderstandings between the tech and dispatch. He is the one I got on the phone, and he was the one who did the work. He was very thorough in showing me what I needed to know with the new system. And the price was right on! Furthermore, since installing the new openers, Seth is the one I have been able to call when my camera wasn't responding and the doors were making extra loud noises when being opened the first time. He has been super responsive to my calls/texts, and he's shown up the next business day with the same friendly attitude. I wish ALL service companies had a Seth!
