We have gone here numerous times and found some amazing bargains. Mike & Jodi really know their stuff and are willing to give you the history of the piece if they know it. My husband brought a few items here as well and we have received checks when they sell. I really enjoy browsing around here since every time you go in their inventory has changed. They also have a small B & B behind the shop. Would be a fun place to come to for a night and shop and eat your way through Castle Rock!

It's been nearly two months since my wife took her ring in to have the tiniest diamond replaced on her wedding band. Never sent confirmation of receipt, or provided us any updates. My wife had to call them for updates. Then when my wife asked for the most important part, the price, they quoted her $100. I went in to pay for the ring and they charged me double. It's not about the extra $100, it's about the lack of principle, the lack of communication and care. You should have called us and told as ahead of time that it was going to cost twice what you estimated to see if we still wanted to continue with the repair. You shouldn't assume everyone just has money lying around, especially in this economy. What's done is done but we know a LOT of people in Denver and will certainly be telling everyone we can to avoid this place. Bad business practice all around. 1/10 experience. Simple, clear communication goes a long way. Maybe this will cause you to think about how to improve your systems from here forward. Maybe not.

Cats, bad smell, creepy Indian and everything way overpriced I escaped as soon as I could…read more I was on Hwy 85 and headed back towards Denver, I stopped in Sedalia to check for any antique stores and I found this store. I was really excited until I walked in the front door and there was a strange smell. A nice lady greeted me and told me about the cats -- 5 of them. OK so I almost ran out the door at that moment, I'm very allergic to cats but I continued in. The lady explained how the two upstairs beds used rope to hold the mattress in, and she was very excited about it so I thought I'd check it out. I looked around although the smell was so terrible I didn't want to stay very long -- maybe it was the cats or a mixture of cats & antiques dunno but it was BAD! There was no one else shopping in there but me. I looked at some of the price tags for various things and everything was really really expensive! Especially compared to other antique stores in Littleton or Denver. I wasn't very impressed by the rope beds and in the last room there is a life size Indian sitting in a rocking chair -- for whatever reason it scared me, I thought it was another person, and it's positioned to look straight at the door, freaky, I said goodbye to the rope lady and left. Needless to say, I will not be coming back!

Very friendly lady and cats (there is a sign on the door about them). I loved the smell of the old house; while it was clean and very well refurbished, it had that nice "old house and antiques" smell. The lady allowed me to take pics of the house, out buildings and backyard, I enjoyed that. My husband thought the antiques to be pricey but still a very nice selection and fun items to look at. Also enjoyed talking with the lady about the history of the house and a little bit about Sedalia. Beautiful place, very nice collection of antiques. Thank you Different Drummer for a great experience. :-) I'm curious about the first review: "I'm very allergic to cats, but I continued in". Gee.

A bit pricey however if you get on their mailing list (email and snail mail) you will receive great coupons regularly. Not at all surprised since an active, outdoorsy lifestyle is common among local residents. The store was clean and fairly empty when I arrived. The sales associate was friendly and greeted me upon entering. The practical side of me was telling me that I didn't need it but the spendy side was telling me to get it on the spot since I would save on shipping. lol I do advise trying things on instead of going by size. I'm glad I did as the associate recommended getting the slightly looser size in case I wanted to layer .
