The assortment offers lesser-known brands that are just as fashionable -if not better than- those brands this market is used to. I'm talking clothes with texture. I love that you can wear these pieces to visit your mother in law the same night you go out for drinks. You can also find fun jewelry, perfume, bath stuff, hats, accessories and hellooooo...a big ol' sale rack too. The space itself is so cute. I love the way it smells in here! And the dressing rooms are cute too. The space itself is so trendy you'll want to buy something. I did. And the owner Kate is awesome!! Very fashion forward. She is doing something really really cool - building her family LEGACY. And doing it with some really cute stuff.

But once you walk beyond it turns into a well-lit boudoir-style shop. I usually don't have much luck with clothing at boutiques (since they tend to be monocolor with just whatever color trend of the season) and I usually just stay close to the fashion jewelry. Not here! It's the complete opposite. There were so many fun tops and dresses. I love the colors and graphics chosen for their product assortment. The ladies were helpful at the dressing room and at the counter. And I think I want wood floors like this in my own home. It makes me want to walk along and shop shop shop its so great. My only complaint is the boring jewelry section. All the bead-y necklaces and bracelets were pretty much the same style. I think it leaves something to be desired on the baubles front.

You can find some decent sales on a lot of merchandise but it's very hard to. Shop there as there are way to many racks and shelves to navigate through. When I removed them, the sticky mess remained on each shirt. I returned them and complained about that to the customer service employee, and she was very gracious and refunded me. There are two things that have happened in recent years that I don't care for and that I wish they would change. They constantly have some loud music playing that replays over and over and it starts to wear on the nerves after a while and makes me rush to finish up and leave. Also, their merchandise is arranged in such a way that it is very disorganized and crowded. I hope someone will address this.

However, I was recently disappointed to find that a large majority of vendors have begun selling items with AI-generated "artwork." I recognize the usage of AI as a practical tool but certainly not as a creative medium--especially when vendors charge $30 and above for "artwork" that a human didn't even create. I feel that selling AI-generated pieces is not only deceptive but a poor reflection on any business given how environmentally damaging it is plus the fact that AI continuously steals content from hard-working human artists. I love Homespun and will continue to recommend them on account of my positive experiences as a shopper, but I feel that they and other businesses can do better when it comes to recognizing the harm AI causes.
