I figured i'd stop in, leave my lil doggie out front with the hubby and scurry back out. After making the little jaunt to the store, the owner warmly welcomed well behaved dogs! In we go, pup in tow! The "peek" turned out to be an experience that touched all of my senses. So many carefully curated fun, whimsical, & necessary items. I love the fact that the store is appealing to all, but definitely tickled my Gen X senses! If you and your girls want to dress up as Josie and the pussycats for Halloween, you can get that vintage Josie and the pussycats necklace set here. 70s retro devil mask, check! Cat earrings that I just had to get, absolutely! There's a fun downstairs section that's filled with unique and retro things for the home! (Pink princess telephone, i'm looking at you!) The shop is very carefully curated and all light fixtures have been rewired & are ready for immediate installation. Also a rare selection of bathroom fixtures especially late 19th century/early 20th century marble console sinks. I've purchased numerous antique light fixtures in multiple states and paid to have them cleaned up and rewired and I found the prices of this shop to be on par with what I would expect to spend except it has the added advantage of being a one-stop-shop, no need to take the fixture to a separate shop for rewiring or refitting.

I pointed to a sign that said request to have lamps turned on and he seemed annoyed, I questioned why not, in utter confusion and the owner said "this is not Home Depot or Lowe's" in an annoyed manner. I left. I know this is not Home Depot or Lowe's that's why I came here. I already have a cookie cutter chandelier in my kitchen and wanted to replace it but this guy seems want to keep them all to himself I'll spend my $$ elsewhere

This place is more of a junk shop than an "antiques co-op". The interior is grimy and many of the…read more"antiques" have been sitting in the same spot for years, gathering dust. It's difficult to search for a particular item, as books, furniture, framed prints, china and the like are scattered throughout the shop with no logical groupings/arrangement. A single staff member is usually present, friendly but not particularly knowledgeable. Many similar shops in the Village have spruced up their spaces, including pricing every item offered for sale and keeping their shop clean and well lit. In time, perhaps this shop will follow suit.

I've always wanted an antique stained glass window for my house and From Europe to You had a great…read moreselection with some beautiful examples of period stained glass. I found a window that I really liked and inquired as to shipping policies and condition of the window. They said shipping was free and the window was stable for framing and mounting. When the window arrived a few weeks later it was crated and palletized for secure shipping. When I opened the crate, I noticed that the leading was severely deteriorated and the top section had loose pieces of glass. I discussed the issue with the folks at FETY and they accepted partial responsibility and said they would cover half of the repair costs of the upper section, which they did. Upon further evaluation of the other two sections, I found them to be in better shape but the edge framing was still in poor condition and they required an additional $1000 worth of repair/restoration work which FETY did not offer to contribute to. Overall, a beautiful window at a fair price but they should have been more forthright about the condition of the window and the need for restoration before it could be mounted. They are generally responsive to customer concerns and are willing try to resolve issues up to a point.
