I love their flexible scheduling. I appreciate that this dental office does not push with upselling or offering unnecessary procedures. I have 1 tooth with mineralization on it from childhood and both dentists I've seen at this clinic have asked if it bothers me, and when I say no they totally back off and respect my decision to keep my weird tooth the way that it is. I have referred several people here. If you forget your chapstick and your lips get dry from stretching them open for so long, they'll offer you one of their custom chapsticks. At Snelling Ave Dental, I have always felt welcomed being there from checking in at the front desk to sitting in the patient's chair. Everyone is extremely friendly and loves chatting with patients when they're up for it. (Pro tip: Talk about food. They LOVE to try new foods and share their foodie experiences.) I've visited here for a total of 3-4 times over one year, and I like how seriously they take their work here. During checkups, the doctor informs me of ways to improve my brushing and the spots that might need more attention. Something that's super simple, but I've never been told by a dentist what spots I haven't been reaching. Besides checkups, I also had a mouthguard fitted because I constantly clench my teeth when I'm stressed. It was a pain-free process, and they checked my insurance coverage and gave me a quoted price before initiating the whole process. Their communication is amazing and there was no confusion. I'm really sad that I can no longer go to Snelling Ave Dental because I moved out-of-state recently, but I'm so happy that I was able to find a dentist that I was satisfied with.

After the cleaning, Dr Edlund careful reviewed the scan report. He had me do a second CAT scan there in the office. Found the concerns to be possibly justified. He explained the results in language that i could understand, His office got me in to see a endodontist that same afternoon, where another CAT scan and more diagnostic procedures ruled out dental complications as a possible cause. The point of this story is that very very few practices are able to be flexible and thorough enough to meet patient needs in such a timely way. i really appreciate Edlund Dental. They got my wife in on an emergency basis during the COVID-19 shut down. After a thorough exam the dentist explained it was not actually a dental problem, but rather a skeletal-muscular problem. He very kindly and generously spent over an hour helping her with the problem. He explained the problem in detail, proscribed several exercises, practical treatments, life style changes and educated her about the problem. This was done on very short notice because we were concerned it could be very urgent and she was in great pain, and a very reasonable cost. This is a great dentist. We cannot express how appreciative we are of his professional skill and personal concern.
