No advanced notice about this and although it is a small amount, it makes more sense for the dental office business to pay than the individual customer. When calling in to discuss, the front desk was acting as if it was not new and had been this way all along. Clearly their management did not educate them on this. It's a shame because the few years I had gone here it was a pleasant experience for my teeth.

Dr. Mork seems very nice also, however I haven't needed any dental work just yet (knock on wood), but my co-worker says he does a great job. I've been there twice so far and both times they were on time with my appt. (or at least within 5 minutes) which is appreciated. Seems that they have very reasonable prices on their products as well. I ordered a set of custom fit whitening trays and they were only $145, and I even got a $50 discount since I was referred by someone, thanks! The only improvement I would note is that they could move to digital x-rays and panogram, as they still use films. Not a big issue though.

I thought OMG I'm going to get yelled at and be in pain, and who knows what will happen. I kept getting a card in the mail - "Gentle Dentistry" that said one of peoples worst fears is going to the dentist - I agreed. It also said "don't worry if you haven't been to the dentist in a long time, we understand". I thought that was pretty cool, and I knew I wouldn't get scolded. To top it off they were 8 blocks away from where I lived. I told my wife that it was time and took the plunge. I set up an appointment and got things rolling. In just 2 visits they have taken full X-rays, done deep scale cleaning on both top and bottom, polished my teeth (including my flipper), extracted 2 wisdom teeth and one molar that was no good, and taken the molds on both top and bottom so I can get a new bridge for my top teeth, and not have to worry about breaking my top flipper all the time. They worked fast, efficiently, and are very gentle. I felt in good hands and they really know what they are doing. They explained every step, gave me my options, suggested the best way to do things, and they are also in the Delta Dental Network. All charges and procedures were explained to me and any questions were answered. My teeth feel great now, and in 2 weeks I go back to fit my bridge, then get it finalized and it will be ready to go. I have a cap or two that they will do and a cavity or two to fill. Then my teeth will be in great shape For the first time in about 20 years I will be able to eat an apple without cutting it up first - so I don't break my flipper. I am amazed at how much they got done in a short amount of time, and how gentle the dental hygienists are. Dr. Zhan is very skilled and knows exactly what to do for the best results. If you have been thinking about getting your teeth up to date, Lake Nokomis Family Dentistry is a great place to go. Not as good as going to the movies - but when you get done you will have teeth that could be in the movies. Tony

They are very good with kids and the hygienist are great at explaining what is going to happen to the kiddos. My daughter said, "This is her favorite dentist place because they let her pick out a prize!" Each child got to pick out a toothbrush and gets a travel size toothpaste and kids floss. Dr. Adam was great to answer any questions we have our struggles with teeth brushing tricks. My youngest was seen by Dr. Adam at 18 months because she wasn't very good with letting us brush her teeth and developed an infection but we got right in to get her some antibiotics. Highly recommend Hale Family Dental. My husband has switched over to Dr. Adam after his regular dentist retired.

First time in the new offices this week, and wow! Beautiful and everything is state of the art, especially the equipment. But most importantly, the staff is amazing! They truly listen and they are careful and gentle, whether they are cleaning my teeth, or doing x-rays, etc. D'Lynn even makes sure my husband and I get different color toothbrushes! They pay attention. Just had my semi-annual cleaning & check, and using the new equipment, showed me cracks in one tooth (yes, I'm an ice chewer), so I'm having it crowned before it can break any more-next week. I talked to someone who couldn't get in at her dentist, for the same procedure, for 8 weeks! That's crazy. Never happens at Brengmann. Very fast turnaround. They've done cavity repair during same appointment for my husband. Highly recommend Dr Brengman and his entire staff!

There's a Richfield community group on Facebook and I see posts every so often from people who ae looking for recommendations for dentists, and Ethos comes up ALL THE TIME. I figured...let's give it a try. I had my first exam this morning and had x-rays done of my teeth, a scan, and a thorough exam. The whole time I was told what was happening and why, and the dentist showed me my x-rays and scan and explained what she was looking for, what she wanted to keep an eye on, and what to do going forward. I felt like I actually understood my teeth for the first time in my life...and I'm 41. An appointment opened up in the afternoon for a cleaning and so I took advantage of that, and it went really well and it seemed to be very thorough. My teeth feel brand new. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, warm, kind, and made me feel welcome. I have two more appointments scheduled in the next year, and I look forward to my future visits. Thanks, Ethos!

I came to Jakubas needing quite a few fillings-- I knew it was coming and was just dreading it. But my dental hygienist & Dr. Swenson really put me at ease, breaking down the work into chunks done over the course of a few months. I was able to get all the dental work I needed, and for much less than what fillings had cost me at my last dentist downtown Minneapolis. The front office staff is really great about being flexible with scheduling, explaining bills, and helping understand dental benefits. The office itself is very clean & bright, on a busy intersection of Minnehaha & 46th, but there is usually parking in their private lot, and there is always street parking nearby. The chairs recently got massagers in them which I am crazy about-- and the hygienists really work to make you comfortable and make a cleaning a nice experience.

They no longer know who you are or have the same staff who care as much as the previous did. The drama between staff or unprofessionalism to clients is one of the many reasons I no longer come here. The dentists are always nice but often client education is lacking simply because they do not have the time. How unfortunate.
