I've been to this hotel a couple times. I really do love the views. They're very nice. The rooms are clean. The place is very big. I feel like there's not much else around this area so if you're coming here just be prepared to stay on premise. Unless you want to get an Uber to go somewhere else overall it's a beautiful place. It's great to get away.

Rosen Shingle Creek 9939 UNIVERSAL BLVD, ORLANDO, FLORIDA 32819 There's something about arriving at Rosen Shingle Creek that immediately sets the tone for a refined yet welcoming stay. Rising gracefully against the Orlando skyline, this property feels less like a typical hotel and more like a thoughtfully designed retreat where comfort, elegance, and service come together effortlessly. The first thing that stands out is the architecture--rich Spanish revival influences that give the entire space a warm, timeless character. It's grand without feeling overwhelming, and every corner feels intentional. As you step into the guest rooms, the experience only gets better. Spacious, quiet, and beautifully maintained, the rooms offer sweeping views of the lush greens of the Shingle Creek Golf Course. Waking up to that serene landscape feels like a reset button for the day. What truly elevates the experience here is the level of hospitality. The service feels genuine, not scripted--attentive without being intrusive. It's clear why they've earned a reputation for exceptional customer care. The dining options are equally impressive, offering a variety of well-executed menus that cater to different moods, whether you're in the mood for a relaxed bite or a more refined evening. Add to that the expansive meeting rooms and conference spaces, and it's easy to see why this property is a favorite for both leisure travelers and business guests alike. Location-wise, it's hard to beat--tucked along Universal Boulevard, just minutes from major attractions and conveniently close to the Orange County Convention Center, yet it still manages to feel like a peaceful escape from the buzz. Overall, Rosen Shingle Creek delivers a complete experience--beautiful surroundings, thoughtful design, excellent food, and service that leaves a lasting impression. It's one of those places you don't just stay at--you genuinely enjoy being there. One small but somewhat surprising detail--access to the hotel gym comes with a $10 daily fee. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but it does stand out, especially in a property of this caliber where you might expect fitness access to be included.

If you are looking for a decent resort with restaurant options, pools, golfing, and other vacation amenities close to all things Universal Studios, Rosen Shingle Creek is a solid spot with a decent price point. It's located 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport and downtown (CBD), where there are some nice bar options, and 20 to 25 minutes from Disney if you are inclined to embrace Club Mouse. I was at Rosen Shingle Creek for a conference. For the night I was there, they have a solid convention center and collection of ballrooms to accommodate a variety of different personal and business events. They have a few restaurants comprising different cuisines ranging from steak and fine dining to burgers and wings, as well as sushi and Tex-Mex. They have a coffee bar for your morning joe or tea, with various baked goods. The room featured a comfortable king-sized bed, numerous power outlets for electronic devices, a sitting area, a double-door closet, and a bathroom with a separate room for the shower and toilet. Access to the rooms, at least our wing, came from the set of elevators by the Reception area. It was an easy location. Elevators were prompt and plentiful. I didn't access the more recreational amenities, such as the pool and fitness center, for example, but the property and surroundings are lovely. The convention center is easily accessible through the main lobby floor, past the restaurant hall. There are many ballrooms and meeting rooms for both business and celebratory events, such as conferences and weddings, including the one I attended.

I have stayed at this resort multiple times, and each experience was very enjoyable. The surroundings feature elevated Floridian style. Upon checking in most recently, we learned that some remodeling is taking place, including repaving the self-parking lot and room doors being replaced by a more natural wood variety, coordinating with the new style room keys. A shuttle shortened our trek from the farther lot, due to the paving. There's plentiful dining options. I've had brunch at the Café Osceola, splurged at A Land Remembered (definitely worth it), grabbed a quick bite at 18 Monroe Street Market, and ordered poolside from Cat-Tails. Mostly everything was rather tasty and satisfying. The staff has always been welcoming and thoroughly accommodating. If Heather is still a poolside server there, she's awesome! Hardworking and keeps you smiling. The rooms are comfy with nice decor. There's 3 pools (1 for laps, 1 for families & 1 with cabanas which is closest to the bar & grille). There's additional offerings for other recreation as well, but I'm never there for that. It's always a lovely place to attend an event, which is what usually brings me there. I know I'll gladly return in the future.

Truly enjoyed our time at the spa atRosen shingle Creek! One of the best massages ever and a beautiful and stunning environment. After the massage we took advantage of the pool and the amenities at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our day. Would highly recommend this for any type of getaway and it's perfect for a day spa retreat getaway.

Stayed here for my husbands work trip. The good parts of the trip- amazing food, great pool and bartenders. The downside of the stay was pretty much the room. Our room was nothing special, which is okay for us, however the shower was dirty and didn't drain properly so you showered in a puddle of water, there was blood stains on the carpet between the bathroom and sink, and just stains around the mirror. The cleaning staff was hit or miss if they cleaned the room, and didn't restock our shampoos and conditioners even though they were empty. There was also renovation going on the floor above us, and all you could hear during the day was banging and drilling, which made taking work calls difficult. With that being said I did hear they are renovating top floors down, so maybe request a higher floor.

My husband and I had a wonderful mini staycation here during the holiday season! It was our first time here an we had an amazing time! The room was incredible and from our room you could see Epic Universe!! I absolutely loved all of the holiday decorations they had up both inside and on the outside of the hotel. We loved being able to walk around and get drinks from the numerous places they had inside. The pool area was super nice but we didn't go swimming because it was cold! I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This has been my 2nd year attending for a work event. The center is always organized and staffed well, parking is slow but easy to understand. Be warned getting in can be very very slow for busy events. Allot 220 to 30 minutes extra in and out.

Nice golf course + restaurant. Ismar in the restaurant was awesome, great service & really solid food/drinks. Will definitely stay here in the future & play the course (only had time to practice this year).... Great facility though!

I can't believe this hotel doesn't have more 5 star reviews. We were pleasantly shocked by how nice this resort is. We couldn't believe how great it was for the price. Beautiful lobby and grounds, great in-house restaurants, amazing banquet halls. We only stayed one night, but would love to stay again when in town. The buffet breakfast was AMAZING. So many choices. As someone who has food allergies, I was so happy I had so many things to eat!! The staff was all great, and our room was clean. Thank you! :)

I went to Rosen to join my sister who was there for a conference. It is a beautiful hotel and the pools are super nice. I wish there was more shaded area around the pools.

This is a beautiful property that I have enjoyed for a 5 day stay. Upon arriving to Orlando, I had to quickly pivot from my prearranged accommodations and booked Rosen Shingle Creek. The hotel is quite large with friendly staff. The rooms are nice and the common areas are beautifully decorated. I have eaten at three of the dining options, used the pool and hot tub multiple times, and I even spent a little time in the game room. I was pleased to find the array of dining options, though at times I was disappointed when a couple were unexpectedly closed. I really like the convenience of the 24 hour market that had some great food, snacks, and sundries. I will say that the parking charge is a bit steep for self parking and the distance you need to walk to get to it (due to the size of the property). However, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I would absolutely stay here again.

Overlooking the exterior and the brunch restaurant area.

Comfy beds, lots of places to sit. Nice zero entry pool. Restaurants on premises & coffee by Starbucks, but better prices! Fruit water in the lobby. Our prom was here, so stayed to make getting ready easier. Lovely!

Ask the Community - Rosen Shingle Creek

Does this hotel have laundry facilities for guests?

Yes. Located on the lower level of you want to do your own

What times are the free shuttle to Universal available? And how do you request a return ride back to hotel? Thank you!

Is parking included with a nights stay?

No. There is a text in service to charge the parking per night to the room.

Are there on site guest laundry facilities?

Yes. It's on the first floor by the arcade.

What type of coffee maker is in the room, regular single serve or K-cup type?

Regular single-cup brewing coffee maker. Nothing fancy, and not very good.

Can I pay for my room before I get there?

An usual request, as most of us don't want to part with our money until we have to (which has me curious as to why you would want to do this)... Some hotels offer a lower rate that's pre-paid and not cancellable - those they would charge right away.…

What is the largest size milk container the room refrigerator can hold?

It's a standard hotel refrigerator. I'd say 16oz bottles would work fine. Call the hotel, I'm sure they could give you a better answer.

Do double queen rooms have microwaves or refrigerator?

Refrigerators yes, microwave no. You can request a room with these when you make your reservation.

I have stayed at about 10 different four seasons and this was by far the best. The level of service is what you would expect with the four seasons brand but this hotel stands above the rest with beauty and things to do. We enjoyed the 5 acre water park every day and loved it. So much to do for families at the pool area and we dipped away from the kids for the quiet adults pool also. If you are staying here to visit Disney it was equally amazing with character breakfasts in Ravello and the Disney shuttles that ran very often. We mostly ate at the pool ( lakehouse) and in the evening at the hotel ( ravello/Lobby bar) The other place capa? on the roof was nice but we didnt dine there but we did enjoy using their balcony to watch the fireworks from magic kingdom/epcot. The Lickitysplit coffee/pastry/sandwich place was very convenient when we needed something on the go for our busy vacation plans outside the hotel. The room was a good size and comfortable if a little on the tired side. Also, after much searching we discovered that our room had no mini bar which was kind of annoying. We weren't able to take advantage of the pool situation because it was unseasonably cold while we were there and even though it's heated, swimming while it was 40 degrees did not seem appealing. We did use the gym facility which was expansive and very well equipped. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Disney but it's not necessarily on par with other Four Seasons Hotels.

Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. The pool was great, very well staffed, though one of the hot tubs was not working throughout our trip which was a bummer. The quick service option was great, had plenty of options. The building itself was beautiful, especially the lobby. Transportation to all 4 of the parks was quick and easy, I never felt like I had to walk excessively far to our resorts bus stops. Although the resort itself was large, the bus stop seemed very central and we never had to wait for an elevator. Nor did we have to wait to get a table/pool chair. My main complaint with the resort was the noise level - they pipe in very loud music every night around 9 p.m. for about 10 minutes, which was awful if you're a light sleeper and wanting to get up early the next day. You can also hear the Magic Kingdom fireworks every night from the resort, but that's to be expected if you're staying in a MK area resort and I didn't find it to be disruptive. Overall, I could definitely see myself coming back to the Wilderness Lodge, the resort was incredible besides the music every night (which is really very minor considering it only went on for about 10 minutes a day). It's a great option if you're planning to spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom.

We were also willing to vacuum it ourselves or move rooms. Then she said she'd send someone (who arrived 10min later and thankfully took care of it). 2. Also, When we initially reserved our room we told them it was our daughter's birthday so would like something in the room. When we checked in nothing had been acknowledged or prepared. We asked about it and the front desk said they saw the note (awkward pause). We asked if something could be left in the room and she took out an order form for me to pick items. We chose cheese platter and ballon's which totaled $50+. She said we didn't need to be in the room (go to park normally) and they leave it in the room. Day after day nothing even after repeatedly reminding them. On day 4 out of our 5night stay they left a chocolate cupcake and a couple of strawberries. We called to let them know that's not what we ordered. The next day we got the cheese plate (pictured). It was left out all day (despite us having a refrigerator in the room) so when we got back to the room that night it was hot. Not sure how food safe that was. We loved the resort layout with many countries represented in clusters of building, pools and quick service dining. We stayed in Trinidad Bld 38. I only gave the location a 4 star because it was almost the furthest away from the main building and we were on the 2nd floor with only walk up. There was disney bussing and inter-resort shuttles and laundry just outside our building. Though there were only two of us, the room and bath was bright and clean, had a queen bed, couch bed and a pull down which could have easily slept 5. Everyone we came in contact with was a delight to deal with and we splattered cast compliments on the app all around. The main lobby was bustling with kid activities and disney movies. Coffee, sandwich, quick service and Sebastians a family style restaurant was also available. Would definitely stay there again just may rethink the room location. Enjoy!

This was the first Disney property we ever stayed in as a couple with kids. We chose it because the…read moretheme seemed interesting for our oldest son and it was promoted as a mid tier resort. When a vacation room has a door that faces the outside of the property I defined that as a motel and so that perception was immediately disappointing. We also experienced a lot of bugs coming in and out of the room and since you weren't in an interior space, traditional to a hotel, it contributed to having to walk through them. The resort is big in the pool area was nice. Getting from our room to the common area with food and gift shops seemed quite a distance, especially for us with a younger family. Travel to and from the park was convenient, although like any resort, very busy during peak times. Having visited other Disney resorts and resorts outside of the park, we would no longer choose to stay at the Caribbean beach resort.

I recently went here for a stay-cation and it does live up to its reputation…read more Its all in the details! From higher end bedding, to sparkling clean and well maintained everything, to the fresh lobby flowers, it all says high end and was much appreciated. Check in took a few minutes of waiting around noon and we were accommodated to an early check in. There was no availability for a room upgrade but the standard one was beautiful regardless. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and very clean with a separate shower and tub. The toiletries were a nice touch since my husband forgot to bring his toothbrush. The soaps, shampoo, body wash and conditioner all seemed like a higher quality with muted, natural scents. The grounds a very pretty, they shared amenities with the JW next door which created a fun day going from their lazy river then back to the Ritz pool for some R&R. The Ritz pool area has complimentary water, fruit, sunscreen, towels floating mats. The pool server was attentive as well. The lobby bar is large with friendly wait staff. I had probably the best charcuterie board I've ever had, featuring really decent gluten free toast in lieu of regular crackers, fresh honey comb, and high quality meats and cheeses. Fruit and electrolyte water was waiting in my room after a long day at the pool, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet was inside Highball&Harvest, which was packed full of options, including gf muffins, toast, and waffles which were made in their kitchen area away from the buffet. There are a lot of amenities that I walked by but didn't utilize, like mountain bikes for their wood path, canoes, pool tables, ping pong, foosball, giant chess, soccer goals and a bunch of kids activities. Overall, I had an excellent stay at the Ritz Carlton and would love to return soon!

The Ritz-Carlton in Grande Lakes Orlando is absolutely a stunning property. I love the restaurant…read moreoptions with the exception of the pool/spa cafe. I've visited this property numerous times the past several years for a variety of occasions. We've spend overnights here, ate at the restaurant, and made great use of their gym and pool. I just love walking their property because of how gorgeous it is! The weight of this review is based on a recent experience from a girls spa day I spent with two of my girlfriends. We each received either a manicure, pedicure, and facial. The prices are as about expected, on the higher end given that it's a luxury spa. Just for reference we spent about $700. Five stars for Claudia, who provided me with such an incredible pedicure experience. She has been working there for over two decades. You can tell she loves what she does and is passionate about her clients and the service they receive. My girlfriends enjoyed their manicure and facial. Moving on to why I am rating our overall experience at a 3 stars due to our overall spa lounge experience and not due to the services from the nail technicians and aesthetician. Upon arrival into the actual ladies spa lounge, one of my friends was greeted and she was given a locker to safely store her belongings, a robe, slippers, and the complimentary first glass of champagne. When I arrived, there was a delay in getting myself situated in the similar fashion that my friend was assisted. When our final friend arrived just shortly after the two of us, she was not even in the spa lounge area, as she was sat in the salon waiting room and it appeared as if she might have been forgotten about. The only reason she made it to her service was because she overheard my voice from behind the waiting area she was sitting in. Only two of us out of the three were already dressed in our robes and got situated with a locker whereas my other friend was not given that chance, though my experience alone was delayed in this process. Also, two of us were not offered our complimentary glass of champagne until an hour and a half after being at the spa lounge. We kindly requested our drinks from one of the spa attendants who advised us to sit in a certain area where she would meet us with the drinks. After waiting awhile, we were unable to locate her, and it appeared we might've been forgotten about. We then decided to request drinks from a different staff and finally received our drinks. We spent time in the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. We noticed cool towels were initially available but once they were emptied out by other guests, we requested a replenishment. The staff voiced to us that if the towels were visibly unavailable on the table, then they do not have any to offer us anymore. We kindly asked if there would be a certain timeframe as to when the cool towels would become available and that we were willing to patiently wait, and there was no response from there regarding a solution or accommodation. We absolutely would have loved having a nice refreshing cold towel that other guests were able to take advantage of. Upon realizing that we were not being assisted similarly to how other guests were assisted, we decided to end our time at the spa earlier than we planned. We made our way downstairs towards the café and honestly, the menu did not impress us. We decided to leave and shorten our girls spa day sooner than we originally planned. Overall, we left feeling that the level of service and attention to detail truly did not reflect the luxury experience or standards we expected from The Ritz-Carlton, especially given the cost we invested in our experience here. While the treatments themselves were wonderful, the inconsistencies in the spa experience took away from what was meant to be a relaxing and memorable girls' spa day. Orlando has so many beautiful luxury resorts, and unfortunately, this experience left us questioning whether we would return.
