We adopted a dane/lab mix from Almost Home last year. I really appreciated the foster-to-adopt…read moresystem they have to give you a clearer idea of what the specific animal is all about. I've had dogs my whole life and when I filled out their paperwork I was of the opinion the only reason I might return a dog would be aggression or if my personal financial situation changed dramatically. The fostering system gave me a much better idea of what I was committing to in this case. My wife, kiddo, and I all came to meet the dog we thought we wanted and after that went well we took her home. It became immediately clear that this girl had not been indoors or socialized very much, if ever. I was very surprised to have essentially a 70lb puppy on my hands. This was more work than I expected, and it was more work than my family expected, but knowing we had time to work with her as a foster in our home environment provided a lot of confidence in seeing how it went. Almost Home was in regular contact to check in with us and provided us with enrichment toys, advice, and resources for taking her to training classes. There was never pressure to keep her, and it was always clear everybody was only interested in what was best for the animal. After a few weeks she was improving, but still more work than I expected, and Almost Home was happy to let us continue to foster until everybody was sure this would be a good fit. Our girl kept improving and we committed to the adoption. Eventually we were able to return our home to normal, and do so free of concerns things would be destroyed. The time and space that was provided to be sure this would all work out resulted in one of the best bonds I've ever had with a dog. We're inseparable these days, and we owe it to the support Almost Home and their volunteers offered throughout the process.

Donations and volunteers, where did the money go. Especially when the dog is sick and they claim the pet wasn't sick when it left their facilities. Just my opinion. I went to the front desk and I wanted to get my money for my Oreos that they have scammed me to waste my last two dollars on because I do not have enough money for that I am broke if I'm going to be honest and I needed those to eat and this corporation out of pure greediness did not give me my money back they told me to call the number on the vending machine. I called him. They did not answer so I went up stairs to ask. They didn't even give me my money back and they told me to come back a different day, but that was supposed to be my food for this week I am a frequent customer and I come here and buy things from the vending machine and I spend money on sports and other things. I felt very disrespected. and I felt they had no respect for me even though I'm the machine there is a sticker that says they will refund me. They did not in fact refund me and they did not give me any money for my two dollar Oreos they are a big and wealthy corporation, but spending two dollars on somebody's Oreos that are their fault in. They are still getting their money because they are getting the money in the vending machine. so they stole my two dollars disrespected me and made me go hungry for this week. I am extremely disappointed with these greedy corporations. I actually do have a picture of the sticker.

We have such a special history with Timothy Grant Jewelers…read more My husband purchased a ring for me here when we were dating. Sadly, it was lost before we got engaged. We always talked about replacing it, but life happened and we never did. This past Christmas, my husband surprised me with a new and improved version of that original ring. My plan was to wear it stacked with my engagement ring, but once I tried them together, it just didn't feel right. I still wanted to wear it though, especially on days when I'm not wearing my engagement ring. The challenge was that my right hand is slightly larger than my left. I'll be the first to admit I am not an easy customer. I was very indecisive and in and out of the store more times than I'd like to admit. Timothy Grant truly went above and beyond, taking the time to make sure my ring was sized perfectly and exactly what I needed. I never felt rushed or pressured, only supported. I am so grateful for the care, patience, and craftsmanship. Thank you so much. I absolutely love my ring.

Just popped in again to pick up my necklace. I have a small cross on it and two briolette diamonds…read moreand those two stones kept finding their way through the bale and you could never see them. Mike, their Master Jeweler suggested something so I never have to worry about the three pieces clumping together again. He attached the cross permanently to the center of the chain by using a laser and then affixed one of the briolettes a little way up from the cross and the second one about an inch higher, also laser attached. (vs soldering) Problem solved and I LOVE it! I never have to worry about them sliding together again and not being seen. The two stones are valuable and I am happy they'll no longer be hidden along with the tiny sapphire and diamond cross. Haven't checked them out yet at Timothy Grant? Don't wait any longer!! You'll love Jon, Fennessa, and Will for sure as well.
