Caldwell College - the professors actually care about their students

Certain things at the school are nice, but some of the professors are TERRIBLE. Few things number…read moreone, they grade where they are not supposed to, 2 they grade things at the end so you would not even know if your passing or not, 3 it could be the most difficult subject and they are flying with the lesson so that you can literally fail the class or exams. 4 some give homework and it's not even graded. Another issue is the required books, most of the professors are not prepared if they require a book for the class from the bookstore. Leaving the students having to guess if the book that is already available is the actual correct one; which in most cases it is not. Another issue is the limited options to pick your classes, one it's ether they are always clashing with other classes; leaving you with having no idea what to do; or 2 having to ask and wait to see if they open more spots every time. Another issue is food, the food is not what you expect it to be, it's always bland. They go all out during orientation and acceptance students day, but once you are committed it's completely different and you will most likely eat the same thing over and over again. Another concern is the dorms, some rooms have mold in them and they don't even try to Clean it. All I got to say is yes the school is peaceful, safe, quiet, and clean, but on the other hand, with certain professors and just asking for help is such a big issue, etc.

Love this school because the professors actually care about the students and it's a great…read moreinstitution

It's possible to take the bus to Essex Green and then walk there, but it's far from the stop. It's a nice building. It seems larger than the old Mt. Pleasant location (definitely larger than the temporary annex on Main Street). When you enter the building, the library door will be to your left. From what I remember of the old location, I think the new location given more dedicated space to the kids and teens areas. There are also quiet rooms for private study, and a quiet area on the lower level. There are various self-checkout kiosks, too. Outside, there is also a nice outside area with benches where you can sit and read. If you visit around the time when the sun sets, you'll see some nice sky views. One thing my husband noted was he thought they should have a clearer walkway to the building entrance. If you drive and park in the general parking area (not the designated spots reserved for municipality gov't or library personnel), you're walking up a hill where cars will be driving down. So you can walk on the grass to avoid being clipped by a car either backing out of the premium parking spots across the building entrance, or a car whizzing down the hill towards the gen pop lot. In short, please just be careful and keep your eyes peeled - as both a pedestrian and driver. Overall, the new library looks great and the librarians are friendly.

Roomy inside with so many bare shelves. Only one staff personnel working upstairs. Downstairs staff workers talking so loud to each other was ridiculous. There was no signage whatsoever throughout the property. NO isles were marked to find sections or selections. Plenty of tables and computers. Rack with a large display of current magazines and newspapers near windows.

Good Humor Breyer's Ice Cream

Dear Community, I want to inform you that Breyers Ice Cream…read moreis no longer real ice cream. The company has changed direction and is cutting costs by reducing quality and sweetness, turning its products into something that tastes artificial almost like plastic here in the United States. The product is noticeably fluffier, with significantly more air and less substance. FDA rules state that "ice cream" must contain at least 10% milkfat, and many large brands only meet the bare minimum. However, Breyers no longer even labels the product as "ice cream." It now says "frozen dessert," which signals a clear attempt to cut costs. This is simply corporate greed. The focus is no longer on product quality, but on volume and profit. If cost reduction was necessary, better solutions existed such as reducing packaging expenses instead of degrading the product itself. Leadership has failed to protect the brand's integrity. Rather than being transparent and innovative, the company chose to mislead consumers. Sincerely, Jim Breyer

I'm going to be honest this current product is not the Breyers I have known and loved for years. They now add all kinds of additional ingredients. I purchased it for a holiday because it was on sale. I really don't buy it anymore! I'm not recommending Breyer's when you want ice cream, sale or not!
