The office is bright, clean, and incredibly kid-friendly. Dr. Marcie Young was absolutely amazing--so patient and gentle, and she took the time to explain everything in a way our child could easily understand. You can truly tell she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. She even took our son in during her lunch hour due to a very busy holiday schedule, which meant so much to us--especially since he was having an issue with his top two teeth. She even helped calm me down, as I was probably more nervous than my child! Our son actually enjoyed going to the dentist, which says everything. We are so grateful and highly recommend Young Dentistry to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and compassionate dental office for their children.

Dr. Maria is excellent and always willing to answer any concerns or questions we might have. The office has about seven to eight rooms decorated in fun, kid-friendly themes. Every time my daughter visits, they play her favorite cartoon; Bluey and even put her name on the wall, which makes her feel extra special. She always leaves with a goody bag, gets to pick out a toy, and finishes the visit with a bouncy ball, which she looks forward to every time. As someone who doesn't typically enjoy going to the dentist, I can honestly say I would feel comfortable being taken care of by them myself. Definitely check them out! Your kid will love it!

All of the walls inside the office are painted a soothing ocean color, and ocean-themed murals seem to cover every wall surface. This charmed my son and made this office seem less like a doctor's office and more like a playroom. The room where the cleaning and check up was done is an open room where there are 3-4 workstations, plus benches for parents. A huge window looks out on greenery and makes the space seem very open and light. Two tvs are hanging to distract children, but they are a tad too small and far away for my son to see them. Our dental cleaning hygienist was patient and thoughtful when dealing with my son's fears. She let him sit up to do his cleaning and stopped whenever he expressed any fear or hesitation. I was in the room the entire time, which was helpful. After the cleaning, the very nice dentist checked my son's mouth. My son also went to another room to get a couple of initial x-rays. The technician was creative and patient; the room also had a tv on and a large window looking out. While I could not be too close to him during the x-ray, I was able to stand at the door. I felt very welcomed as a parent. I appreciate not being separated from my child during what could be a stressful time. All of the office staff seemed very chill, laid back and kind. I felt at ease the entire time. I am very appreciative of the design and thought put into this office space!

I finally took the plunge, and we went to South Florida Dentistry today. The experience was entirely positive, minus the three new cavities found in my LO's mouth! The staff at the front were extremely friendly, as were the hygienists that completed my kids' cleanings. The interior of the building is very clean and fresh appearing and they have the cutest clocks (see photos to appreciate). The dentist was extremely approachable and personable, and ensured I understood that the dentists were on call 24-7 for any emergencies. Pricing was very upfront - which I appreciate as I have personally had an unpleasant experience with changing costs in the past. I was very happy with the level of care my kids received, and I feel confident our visits for the cavities will go equally as well.
