I can't recommend Rose highly enough! I've been her client since 2023 and just completed my fourth eyebrow touch-up. Every experience has been exceptional. Rose is kind, professional, organized, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an incredible eye for detail, and my eyebrows have truly never looked better. The results are so natural that people often compliment my face without realizing why. She consistently chooses the perfect pigment to complement my skin tone and carefully documents every detail, ensuring beautiful, consistent results at each visit. Her studio is easy to find, with plenty of convenient parking near Target. Just as importantly, everything is impeccably clean and well maintained. I've experienced zero complications after any of my procedures, which speaks volumes about her commitment to health, safety, and proper technique. What really sets Rose apart is her expertise. She is incredibly knowledgeable about eyebrow hair growth cycles, pigments and how brows naturally behave, how our bodies metabolize the pigment over time (which is why we need touch ups) which gives me complete confidence in her recommendations. I truly trust her with the "windows to my soul." Thanks to Rose, I wake up every day with beautifully shaped brows that make my face look polished and put together with minimal effort. I no longer have to spend time penciling in my eyebrows as part of my daily makeup routine, and that alone has been life-changing. Thank you, Rose, for consistently providing such exceptional service and artistry. Your talent, professionalism, and attention to detail keep me coming back, and I look forward to many more years as your client. If you're considering eyebrow services, don't hesitate--you'll be in the best hands! read more

Brows that I recently got re-touched (top photo) after two years, compared to what they looked like right before (middle photo). I'm thrilled that my color stayed vibrant and maintained its ashy brown shade throughout the two years. Previously, my brows were micro-bladed by a different artist, and they ended up lightening significantly in less than a year and turning reddish (bottom photo)! However, two years ago, when I visited Rose for a redo, she expertly color-corrected them and it's been a game-changer ever since! I love how Rose pays meticulous attention to detail and how relaxed and welcoming her energy is. The time spent getting my brows done flies by in her studio, thanks to her calming atmosphere. I highly recommend Rose and will definitely continue to return for future retouches. She's truly a 10/10! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would cus Rose is the absolute GOAT MUA!!! She did my makeup for my bridal shower, wedding and family photos and she always makes me look my absolute best. The colors she uses to the high end makeup makes the look flawless every single time. I have referred her to many friends and everyone loves her and their makeup! Her technique, friendliness and skills are unmatched. Look no further if you want to look like a 10! Rose also does private makeup classes. I've done this several times and it's a real treat to be able to take what you learn into your everyday routine. You can gather a few of your friends and make a fun night of it. Pro tip- do the class on a day when you're heading out so you can utilize the glam! Thank you Rose for everything. I'll be calling you soon I'm sure :) read more

Rose has done my makeup for multiple birthday photos and I've felt nothing, but in awe of her work when it comes to make-up. I had my eyebrow touch-up with Rose and it was another wonderful experience. She is always so friendly, easy to talk to, professional, and the process is painless. Rose is the best at what she does! I got my eyebrows redone by Rose in 2021 and she is super clean and professional with her whole process. She had a planned process for pre care instructions and detailed post care instructions, which made it easy to refer back to. I just got them redone by her again this year and am loving them. I was referred to Rose by a friend and I'm so glad she was able to do my hair and makeup for my maternity session. She was so kind as to accommodate me on her off day and was able to fit me in early in the morning, hours before my photo shoot. The makeup and hair held up all day and I love the fact that it looked so natural in photos. She was so easy going and fun to talk to, knew exactly what to do and how to do it as soon as I walked in through the door. All I did was show her what I was going to be wearing and she went off at her craft. I would highly recommend her for those special occasions when you need to look your best (but still yourself) and photograph well! read more

I booked Rose for my early morning wedding and I am so pleased that I did! She opened up her shop early before even the break of dawn and even allowed my hairstylist (different vendor) to come and do my hair too. So gracious to make it easy for the bride! I got a lot of compliment and felt so comfortable with the final result throughout the entire day. I also had a great time conversing with her during the makeup session. She uses high-end quality brands so you won't have any issue with breakouts. Just communicate what your skin is like ahead and she listens to everything! read more

I used Rose twice for hair and makeup and was really happy with the results! She specializes in Asian features and creating a natural but beautiful look. I got many compliments about my makeup at both events! Her prices are reasonable: $120 for full makeup (with fake eyelashes) and basic curls. I believe its another $40-60 if you want an updo. The salon location is easy, inside the same complex as Souplantation, Target, Barnes and Noble and plenty of parking right in front. Her studio is clean and well lit. She was very responsive, professional, punctual to our appointment, and easy to talk to. Hoping to go back in the future for either microblading/permanent eye makeup! read more

I was used to having 'okay' skin then had an insane acne breakout after I made significant changes to my diet (went plant-based after eating meat everyday for over 20 years). The acne hung around for weeks and was only getting worse. My sister recommended Rose to me and she meticulously evaluated my diet and skin care routine. She identified multiple potential causes and recommended a new regimen that was personalized to my needs and walked me through everything step-by-step. Prior to meeting Rose, I was so uneducated on what I was doing with my skin and she really took the time to explain why we were making these changes. It was an amazing experience and my skin is clearer than it has ever been. I would highly recommend Rose to anyone to help them achieve their skincare goals! read more

This review is for microblading. I have gotten tattooed in the past about 5+yrs ago but I needed a revamp on my brows. So when I saw on IG that Rose was doing microblading, I booked an appt right away. Rose was very professional, sent me a link to her website with which explained all the dos/don'ts and before/after care. On the day of the appt we had a consultation but since I have gotten makeup done by Rose in the past, I gave her full trust to determine shape, shade and width of the brows. But I liked how Rose was very technical and accurate with shaping the brows. The numbing process was quick and I did not experience any discomfort during the process. Rose's studio was clean, cozy and had a welcoming ambience. The process took about 2hrs since you have to wait for numbing and then the consultation to make sure you're completely satisfied before she begins the microblading. After you are done, Rose gave me a after care kit which I thought was very professional. After care was easy, and scabs started to come off after 10 days. I get compliments on my brows all the time and the microblading vs tattoo looks more natural since its strokes like hair vs fill-in tattooed. read more

LOVED my makeup for engagement photos!! With our wedding in Atlanta, but us living in California, I had the extra work of needing to find two makeup artists. I was completely lost because I was so new to California and a friend introduced me to Rose. I'm so glad I took my friends advice and booked Rose for my engagement photo shoot at Joshua Tree. She listened to everything that I was looking for as far as the over all feel of the photoshoot. She was on time, professional, and also listens to client. I also booked her kind of last minute because I couldn't find anyone, but she was so flexible with scheduling me in because she already had appointments on the day that I needed her. Her communication is great and she responds quickly. I would totally recommend her to anyone!! If I ever needed my makeup done for any event, I would definitely book her again!!! She even told me that she offers makeup application classes to anyone that is interested. You can bring all the makeup that you currently own and she will teach you on how to use and apply them! read more

Can I give 10 stars? Let me start my review by saying that I am not a celebrity and I'm not filthy rich...but I actually FLEW ROSE PARK FROM CALIFORNIA TO NEW YORK to do my wedding day make-up. I'm not a blogger/influencer/diva (my friends may argue on that last one), and I live in New York City - land of fashion/beauty - but I could not find a single make up artist that I felt could do a great job on Asian faces. I had the privilege of having my make-up done my Rose when I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends' wedding in California a couple years prior and I remembered that day was the most beautiful I've ever felt. So, while it felt a little excessive to fly a make-up artist out (when I was penny-pinching on everything else wedding related), I'm so glad I did it and would do it all over again. It's SO difficult to find make-up artists who understand asian faces and what flatters our skintone, eyeshape, etc. I *WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND* Rose Park for asian faces. (I'm sure she's great with other ethnicities!) She is worth every penny and then some. If I was a celeb or blogger, I would fly her out anything I needed to be dolled up. I need to comment on her insane skills at getting the eyeliner PERFECT - ALWAYS. She's also master of the "natural" but still super photogenic look. NO ONE can do this as well as she does. I've asked for "natural" by different make-up artists as a bridesmaid for other weddings and I've always hated my make-up and had to erase it and fix it later by myself. Shameless confession: My trial was so amazing that I wore that look to a friend's wedding that day and then (this is gross, but) I carefully removed some of my make-up (to avoid breakouts), but kept my brows, eyeliner and lashes in place to re-use it the next day for my bridal shower. LOL. So gross of me but it looked THAT good! *** LONG STORY SHORT - IF YOU ARE ASIAN AND YOU NEED A MAKEUP ARTIST FOR A FASHION SHOOT, WEDDING, BRIDESMAID MAKE-UP, PORTRAITS, HEADSHOTS, SPECIAL EVENT...whatever...BOOK ROSE and tell her Suz on Yelp sent you! *** read more

I've known Rose, the make-up artist, for years and she's always been amazing with that natural make-up that enhances your features rather than covering up. She will take time to observe your skin, face and style and will transform you. So when she opened her studio and started offering microblading service, I knew I could trust Rose to give me new set of brows that will stick with me for 2 years. Once my appointment was set, Rose gave very detailed instructions to prep me for the procedure. The list is typical and you can find them on Google easily, but Rose took time to answer all my questions and calmed me because I was getting anxious. 1st session Rose knew exactly what I wanted for my brows so with my preference and her recommendation, we decided to go for that natural Korean-style eyebrows with natural arch. With multiple numbing sessions, microblading didn't hurt at all! I can feel the blade the whole time, but I was surprised how painless everything was. Healing process was smooth, even though avoiding water for 10 days wasn't easy. I didn't oxidize too much or scab either! 2nd session Rose went darker and more defined on my brows this time around. Even though she warned me that it might hurt just a tad bit more, I didn't feel anything and the shape turned out great. I highly recommend that you purchase the clear visors from Rose because that made showering a whole lot easier. It's been about 2.5 weeks since my 2nd session and my brows are looking crisp, oxidation that scared me for a while got light and I have brows when I wake up. If you are considering getting microblading done or make-up done for a special occasion, get it from the best. read more

I had a outdoor wedding to attend and requested an appointment with Rose in advance. On the day of the appointment, Rose really took her time to ask the right questions to get my makeup just right for the special event. After years of haphazardly smearing make up on my face and hoping I looked a bit better with the stuff than without it, I thought some professional help would go a long way. And boy was I right! I found Rose while browsing through my feed and really liked what I saw on her page, so when I saw her IG stories for lesson slots, I DMed her. The lesson format was simple and straight forward. I was to bring my make up, skin care products and Rose would do half my face. Then I would follow her demonstration and do the other half of my face. I found the time I spent with Rose invaluable b/c she helped me pick the right products and colors for my face, eyebrows, cheeks, eyes. Another thing that really helped was seeing how to use all the different brushes to do eye make up and learning where things need to go make my eyes pop! Rose was friendly and thorough in explaining the why & how of things. I liked many of the products that she introduced me to for skin care and make up. My perpetually peeling lips are loving the Laneige sleeping mask (Thanks Rose!) Lastly, I appreciated that not all the products she was using was extremely expensive. There was a mixture of items I could buy for $5, $10 as well as more expensive items from Sephora. If there was a con, it would be that I ran out of time at the end due to a scheduling conflict. I wish I would have had more time to write down some notes on the spot and write down all the products, but this wasn't a huge deal. Long story short, I had a great time and I would totally go back for additional lessons! read more

Rose opened up her new studio closer to where I live so it gave me an excuse to get my make up done for a friend's wedding. Her new studio is conveniently located in a large plaza mall with plenty of parking (free) and Target, CVS, Starbucks, and other restaurants all within walking distance. Rose, as always, took the time to figure out the current condition of my skin, gave my brows a makeover, reviewed my desired look for the day, then created a flawless look perfectly suited for the occasion. My make up lasted 9+ hours in this 100 degree heat - no touch ups were needed, not even lipstick! My customer rating remains the same since the beginning of her professional career. I used to follow Rose's work before getting married. I wanted to book her for her makeup services for my wedding but unfortunately it didn't work out because at that time she was based out in LA and I was getting married further away. However, when I found out she was microblading eyebrows in her new studio in OC, I knew I had to give it a try! She was very professional beginning from scheduling the appointment and with after care. She went over everything and was very patient in answering all my questions and making sure I was well taken care of since microblading can be overwhelming for some. On top of that, she is very skilled in her work - never rushing to just finish and making sure each stroke is thoughtfully placed and both eyebrows were even and perfect. I love waking up in the morning and not having to worry about my brows at all. She's definitely great at what she does and you can tell she really cares about her clients. She even gave me tips during our microblading session to better my current skin and encouraged me to wear sunblock...since I didn't (at that time - now I do :)). Also she sells cell fusion c products which are awesome. Don't hesitate to book her! She's amazing. read more

My make up routine had become so bleh. I did the bare minimum lazy putting "something" on my face just so it's not bare. I really wanted to attend Rose's group make-up seminars but having to work on Saturdays made nothing possible! So I asked her to do a one-on-one private lesson! She came to my house, hauled all her gear into the comfort of my home and took the time to teach me how I can enhance my make up routine. While she was very thorough with every step, I benefited the most from learning and copying how she contoured my face, using the existing make up palette that I had. Also, seeing the dramatic difference by using the right colors for the undereye gradient shadow technique really wowed me, and it has become a part of my daily routine.
