This nail shop offers amazing pedicures with the specialist chairs unlike the other nail shops I'n Peckham that offer you a plastic chair and a home foot spa! This is a full sized shop so is very spacious and comfortable the staff are all very friendly and happy to accommodate any needs you may have. Whether it be at a specialist afro hairdressers or somewhere else, most places never seem to get it right, and I've had quite a few near misses! I'd heard about Tayo hair and beauty quite a while ago, but because it's tucked away off the main street, I always seemed to forget about it! However last week I was in desperate need of a good trim after having my hair braided for a couple of months, so I set off to find Tayo and I'm so glad I did! Luckily I managed to get a walk in appointment, as they had a bit of space. The first thing I noticed was how amazing the place smelled, there was an oil burner on and it smelt gorgeous, very relaxing. Will, who cut my hair was fantastic, and knew exactly what to do. He advised me on what I need to do with my hair to help it grow and keep it in good condition, which was great, as I've been to so many different hairdressers over the years that have given me conflicting information or tried to sell me products which have just ended up being no good for my hair. I met his little boy who was really sweet and had a very similar curl pattern to mine, so I knew I was in good hands! As well as Afro Hair, Tayo also specialise in Asian and European hair, and do braiding, extentions, weaves, treatments (and also beauty treatments such as eyebrow tinting, manis/pedis etc) I'd highly recommend Tayo to anyone. *20% off your first cut - bonus!
