First, it is in a great location, one block off commercial street down near Spiritos Pizza. The place is so cute, so clean and so well kept. They have off street parking which is nice. Our room was great, so cute, cozy, comfortable and very clean. There is a nice outdoor courtyard with chars, a fire pit and tables and chairs Also near the courtyard out back is the breakfast cottage which is absolutely adorable. The complimentary breakfast was awesome with so many items, fresh made muffin of the day, and three hot items to go wirh everything else offered. The cottage is so adorable and. Fabulous breakfast. Can't say enough about this place, Paul and Allison were awesome and we will def one back to the Revere Guest House. Thank you for making our engagement weekend an amazing stay !!!

I can't say enough about the communication leading up to the say as well as the check in process. I had to check in after hours, and it was convenient and safe; I couldn't have asked for anything easier. The space itself is outstanding! It was very clean and perfect for our weekend away. They have completed updates since their most recent pictures, and we were pleasantly surprised. We had absolutely everything we needed for the weekend! The guest house host was unbelievably friendly! He cooked breakfast on the weekends, which included the most amazing egg dishes and muffins! I can't wait to return here, and I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone coming to visit the area!

The bathroom was really nice, with Burt's bees products - totally stocked with cute toiletries. The bathroom door was a little loud when you shut it, and I was worried I woke up the whole house when I shut it. Parking was very tight, but p-town is really packed and there isn't much space. They have beach towels at the front door, which was very helpful! I had a wonderful experience and would return in a heart beat.

Anywhere in P-town has to be better than this. If you're having a hard time finding availability, please check out the local website www.ptown.org for last minute availability anywhere else. Please read the other reviews here stating similar about the owners treatment of guests. They are true! My story: Availability was very limited online for places in P-town for that weekend so I booked online at www.hoteltonight.com and paid $485 for one night to stay in a tiny, old room that barely fits a queen bed without squeezing by with your suitcase. That wasn't even the problem though. I booked for three people and the reservation wouldn't even confirm the type or size of room until I got there! When I did get there with my husband and 21 year old niece after traveling for 5 hours the unfriendly, snooty, person( who I had to figure out was the owner bc he did not introduce himself) told me the room I was paying almost $500 for could not accommodate three people so one of us would have to find another place to stay! He was very condescending about it as well and not helpful at all. He walked away rolling his eyes. He told us to leave our bags under a piano in the living room, unsecured, find another place for my niece and come back in a couple hours if I still wanted to stay there. I would have cancelled entirely but he would only let me get a refund if he could rebook the room and it was already afternoon on a Saturday. I had to go on the local website to find a last minute cancellation for my niece and pay another $350 for her to stay there by herself. The worst part was that when my husband and I returned to our room to get ready to go out. I took a shower in the tiny bathroom only to have a very loud fire alarm start blaring when I was in there. I got out of the shower dripping wet to hear someone yelling and pounding on our room door. It was scary because I was stuck in the bathroom trying to grab a towel and figure out what was going on. My husband answered the door and one of the owners was yelling very loudly that we need to open the window in the bathroom when we shower or not use hot water(?!) because the fire alarm placed outside of the bathroom door was sensitive and if we dared to touch it to turn it off, we would be in violation of fire code laws in the area! What?? First, we didn't even touch the fire alarm, we thought the blaring noise was coming from outside of our room. The very nasty owner proceeds to drag a chair over to service the alarm while I was peeking out of the bathroom dripping wet. Both my husband and I were shocked at his tone and arrogance. After his drama, we hurried to get ready just to get out of there for the evening. I couldn't use the only mirror that was in the bathroom because opening that door would set off the fire alarm again. We were going to stop in the shared kitchen area downstairs before leaving to grab a bottled water but saw that the owners were sitting at the kitchen table drinking a bottle of wine. It was very awkward and uncomfortable to walk in there so we just left. You feel like you are intruding on their home, not a paying hotel guest. The place is old looking and very cluttered. It looks more like a dusty hostel or a crazy cat lady's house rather than a boutique guest house, especially for the price. The shower floor was filthy dirty upon arrival (see pic I posted). The next morning we left there as early as possible feeling robbed of our $$. On a side note, the place I found for my niece for $350 was called "The Lotus" and was on the Main Street where all the shops are. The room was way bigger, way cleaner and the staff was very friendly! I wish we all could've stayed there but that was the only room they had left.

I make last minute decisions regularly, including hotel reservations. Classically the first time I really looked into making reservations was August 7th, for the weekend of August 10th. As it turns out, if you're trying to stay in CC in the literal prime of summer on the weekend every last place (essentially) is going to be booked up unless you have your shit together and figure it out in advance. Your last option is to stay in a complete dump for about $400 a night. Anyways, Moffett House Inn was for some reason available for a somewhat reasonable price 3 days in advance. There would have to be gold rimmed toilet seats with automatic wiping for me to shell out the kind of cash I mentioned above. Without much research, but not much expectation, we arrived to MHI. We had trouble finding it actually as it is in a corridor off the main street. There is no parking but a few lots around. The place itself is in a really great location, probably 2 min walk from that main street and all of the good shit in ptown. It's probably another 5 min to the beach from the street. Our room was on top of an extremely narrow and steep staircase that scared the shit out of me (stairs scare me in general for some reason, maybe related to heights). Good luck traversing that shit in a drunken stupor. We shared the floor (and unfortunately the bathroom) with 3 other rooms. There wasn't much of an issue showering when we wanted to and nobody took a stinky doody thankfully. The staff were nice and available when we arrived to take us to the room. Overall this is a good option if you're strapped for cash and want a central location. I might be a bit bougie next time if surrounding hotel availability permits.
