First of all, let's start with the location, location, location! Right on Commercial Street in the…read moreheart of the action. The Queen Vic is 50 feet from Tea Dance and with the awesome front patio, you can watch the men saunter (or sashay) down to the party. You have Spiritus Pizza and coffee at JOE very close by and if you want to rent a bike just head up Central and take a left for PTown Bikes. Next, Stan and Josh are great hosts and will try to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. Communication was great and Stan kept me in the loop via text messages for anything I needed to know. The breakfasts were light and delicious - just the right way to start the day. My favorite was taking mine to the second floor back deck and enjoying the cool morning while sipping my coffee. My room was cleaned up each day making it feel new every afternoon. Pros: Location, all the outdoor spaces, great hosts, and they are a "bed and beverage" so there is a bar available on premise. Cons: I had to come home and I'm not still there!!!

Our bedroom was absolutely amazing and comfortable. It was incredibly spacious, clean, and had many wonderful details to make our stay even more special. Breakfast delivered to our room every morning was such a wonderful touch. The home itself is in a perfect location, right downtown, across from the boat slip, on commercial street... in the heart of everything! We will absolutely be staying here again in the future! Thank you so much a memorable trip!

So I'm not particularly the earth's greatest planner. After a last minute and sudden whirlwind move…read moreto Massachusetts literally August 1st, I decided this was a great opportunity to take my GF to Cape Cod for her birthday on August 8th. NBD. I make last minute decisions regularly, including hotel reservations. Classically the first time I really looked into making reservations was August 7th, for the weekend of August 10th. As it turns out, if you're trying to stay in CC in the literal prime of summer on the weekend every last place (essentially) is going to be booked up unless you have your shit together and figure it out in advance. Your last option is to stay in a complete dump for about $400 a night. Anyways, Moffett House Inn was for some reason available for a somewhat reasonable price 3 days in advance. There would have to be gold rimmed toilet seats with automatic wiping for me to shell out the kind of cash I mentioned above. Without much research, but not much expectation, we arrived to MHI. We had trouble finding it actually as it is in a corridor off the main street. There is no parking but a few lots around. The place itself is in a really great location, probably 2 min walk from that main street and all of the good shit in ptown. It's probably another 5 min to the beach from the street. Our room was on top of an extremely narrow and steep staircase that scared the shit out of me (stairs scare me in general for some reason, maybe related to heights). Good luck traversing that shit in a drunken stupor. We shared the floor (and unfortunately the bathroom) with 3 other rooms. There wasn't much of an issue showering when we wanted to and nobody took a stinky doody thankfully. The staff were nice and available when we arrived to take us to the room. Overall this is a good option if you're strapped for cash and want a central location. I might be a bit bougie next time if surrounding hotel availability permits.

Just got a cancellation email for my room at the end of the month. Trying calling, number not…read moreworking. Seems like the building was sold in March 2023 and is closed. Glad I saw the email or I would have showed up and had no room.
