Chicken parm sub and fries was fine but a couple of things really knocked this down (compared to Rosati's at home in Rochester, MN, which is consistently excellent): 1st and absolutely minor - no slices available about 15 minutes after they opened. Okay, maybe they just weren't ready yet. Annoying but fine, it was early. 2nd though, and definitely more egregious: I was asked if I wanted cheese in my chicken parm sandwich. Cheese is literally in the name. BUT if you want parm on your parm, it'll cost you $1.50. I uploaded the receipt for proof since it is so ridiculous to me. There was no use arguing with the poor kid at the counter - it wasn't his fault and he seemed to be solo and $1.50 isn't worth raising Hell over, but beware should you stop here for a few sandwiches cuz that will add up. AND it took nearly 40 minutes and the fries were cold. I've never seen anything like this before and I don't think it's right: it's definitely not a chicken parmasean sandwich but a chicken sandwich that you can pay to add cheese to. read more

Unfortunately, the meatballs weren't for me. They had a processed, canned flavor and a mushy texture that I really didn't enjoy. Also the meat sauce had Sausage which I have a bad stomach reaction to pork... thinking the meat sauce was original beef I was later unsettled in the bathroom realizing it was sausage. CONTEXT: I've been traveling for the week, staying at my wife's cousins house and ordering out a lot. With that, I've had terrible luck all week with deliveries and carry out orders. ROSATI'S was the best experience I've had all week. PIZZA: ordered the meat lovers type of pizza, it came packed with different proteins, plenty of cheese, and the right amount of sauce in my opinion. SALAD: It was solid. We did request no olives and a few made it onto the dish but nothing a little bit of picking didn't solve for. SERVICE: Ordered for delivery to the great wolf lodge. Showed up within 5 minutes of the anticipated time and was able to switch the pick up location quickly. OVERALL: solid experience, solid food, and much needed during a trip to the dells! Classic chain I'm glad they reopened in the Dells. Our favorite is the white pizza but we also had a calzone with sausage and mushroom, and the Italian sausage was as dry and crumbly and flavorless as you can imagine. No idea why this place only gets 2.5 stars. Ordered a Chicago deep dish and a thin crust. Both were outstanding, though the pizza sauce was a bit on the sweet side. I was so excited to see a Rosati's had opened in Lake Delton. Last night, I called to order a carry out pizza. Before placing my order, I asked the woman on the phone if they were busy, if they did curbside pick up, and if the employees were wearing masks. She said they didn't have dine in, just a counter for pick-up (so not busy), no for curbside, and she said yes they were wearing masks. When I picked up my order, neither woman working the front counter was wearing a mask, they didn't even have one on their person. They 100% lied, I would have gone elsewhere had I known as there are plenty of restaurants in the Dells going above and beyond to make customers feel safe. Rosati's isn't one of them, nor were the employees at all nice. A good pizza isn't worth it, times are challenging now with COVID-19 and I want to support small businesses who are making the effort to be safe. If this matters to you, don't go to this Rosati's. read more

We're on a small vacation trip from Chicago visiting Great Wolf Lodge. We have had Rosati's before back in Illinois so we stick with what we know rather than try pizza we don't know of in a state not known for pizza ;) Either way, it's what we expected, good pizza, just like all the other chains. I was skeptical based on the reviews, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. They even called to make sure our order was for that location due to other orders being sent to wrong locations, nice of them to check on that. I'm in the 'customer service' profession and I hate leaving bad reviews, every place has there good and bad days.. which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. We ordered a pizza with light sauce, our pizza had NO sauce, wasn't cut at all and we ordered breadsticks and got burnt cheesy bread instead. When we called to kindly tell them our order isn't correct, we were basically told 'too bad, so sad' and hung up on. We spent $60 plus a good tip, I just wanted my pizza to be cooked correctly. I would've even gone to pick it up so the driver didn't have to drive back out. We really love Rosatis but this one I guess needs some work as far as customer service goes. read more

I was quoted 1 hour for delivery and the pizza showed up within 30 minutes with barely any cheese on it. I requested crushed red peppers 3 times over phone only to show up with none. Staying at the VUE hotel for vacation and decided to grab Rosati's for dinner. We called 3 times. First two times we were put on hold with no explanation (which isn't needed yes) and hung up on. We called the 3rd time and the lady on the phone FINALLY told us the computers were freezing up and she put us on hold just to un-hold us and complain about us. Lady who was working between 3:57 and 4:10pm needs to be retrained in customer service obviously because she should of taken us off hold to inform us the computers were down. I will never go to this place again. I ordered online. I went in and the woman working said she didn't have my order and was as rude as can be. Told me it was my own problem, had no interest in seeing that I had ordered or helping in any way. So I sent a message on Facebook. Owner responds and says he'll be in town Friday and give me a free pizza to make up for it. Great, right? Nope. He blows me off. I message in the afternoon and nothing. Poor at best! After ordering I sat down inside to wait! The flies were swarming inside the restaurant. I went outside to continue to wait. I waited almost an hour for what they said would be about 15 minutes. One other person ahead of me. I went back inside to check on my order, the girl at the counter was rubbing her hands through her hair and proceeded to put hair back into a ponytail! She then came outside to smoke. I saw no hand washing. The pizza crust was not done, the thought of the flies and the girls hair ordeal prevented me from eating this food. I do not recommend and will not return. What a great establishment in Wisconsin Dells where my daughter took my three year old grand daughter and cousins for her birthday dinner where she was racially profiled (1)told that there were no seats available and A team member noticed that there was some seats available but the manager told her to be quiet (2)she was told that she has to pre-pay for her food before she even gets a table! I've never ever been told to prepay for food at a sit down family restaurant. Especially while out of town for a 3 year old child. She then turned around and left the restaurant without saying a single word of how she felt at that time . This is a tourist town. Everyone should be treated the same way. read more

Ok, so I'm a resident of the area. I ordered a Chicago Style pizza about a month ago for delivery. It was NOT the normal Rosattis Chicago style pizza. The crust was their normal thin crust and had so much sauce on it. I called and the mir on duty was good enough to refund my pizza. So I tried again last night. This time I ordered a regular crust pizza. It was raining. They told me 1 and 15 minutes for delivery. The pizza showed up 2 hours later ...cold. the delivery driver apologized for the delay. DELAY?? I called today; spoke to the mgr on duty; he hung up on me. He was trying to justify the delay saying their power went out...I do believe it went out but it was 50 min AFTER I ordered it. It should have been long cooked and out for delivery by then. He was rude and uninterested in listening. I will NEVER order from them again. I would suggest that you dont either. This mgr has no concern for customer service. They will never make it in the rush is Wisc Dells!! read more

I ordered a deep dish pizza which takes 45 minutes to make. I placed this order in person face-to-face. When I came back to pick up this pizza it was incorrect. The girl working told me she was the training manager and she messed up and would remake it. The entire time the rest of my food just sat there.So after waiting over an hour and a half for food not even receiving fresh food I was told I would get a refund. When I called back today the manager said we don't do refunds you can have a discount next time you order. (after such bad service I don't know why I would re-order) I said that's not what I was told I would've just left the store with no food. So after this I'm upset I was lied to my food was wrong so she told me I could drop my attitude. We tried to order pizza a little before 9 they said it would take an hour. At 10:15 we called to see where it was seeing how we had a room full of kids who were all tried and hungry. They said they only had one driver and they didn't know how long it would be. We stay awake till 12:00 waiting for our pizza. It never can and we all went to bed hungry sense most everything was close by this time. The next day we attempted to call and released they blocked our number I guessing to avoid conflict. We called multiple times asking to speak to a hirer up on one of my daughters phone. I was finally connected to a girl named April who told us she would have the owner call us back. We waited all day and didn't receive that call. We called again later and the same girl told us she would have the boss call us and continuously put us on hold at random points in the conversation. I'm a local to the area, I've order from here once before the pizza was OK but the price was outrages for what you get! Today i seen they offered pizza by the slice and its available all day, so i called to verify yes they do, I figure I would give them another shot. Considering my lunch break was only 30 mins it would be a quick grab.... NO first I walk into the store today and the staff or friend of staff that was standing behind the registers in her camo jacket looked like she hadn't showered in weeks and was a total mess (crackheads or methheads) I'm sure... No I'm positive. Then she processed to have another bigger white lady "the delivery driver" looked very dirty, come up to tell me to hold on while she gets the cashier from the back. So it took 3 people to finally be able to tell me that the pizza slices they serve all day would take ONLY 15-20 mins to make... There was not even a single slice in the warmer. Ummm I was on lunch 30 mins only, I called ahead to make sure they're always hot and ready, i was told yes. That was not the case, this place has the most disgusting, unkempt and unprofessional staff I've ever seen in the dells. Sorry but even if the pizza was worth another shot for the price after seeing the staff and the uncleanliness of the place up close again, I will NEVER return to this location.
