I used to love this place . Ordered today for pick up the pizza was made wrong . Called and immediately he knew why. Plus the pizza was so soggy . He told me to come back for a plain cheese pizza , that too was soggy , undercooked . By the time my whole family got to eat it was all horrible and all the food was freezing cold. I just threw everything out !!! Plus the guy in there has very long greasy hair doesn't care that he is obviously working with food . I'm very disappointed and grossed out . And why was the pizza soggy? read more

The quality of the crust has changed. Used to be best pizza around and now crust is kind of heavy and not crispy. Tried to contact manager but he never responded read more

Rosati's Pizza 531 W. Liberty St. Wauconda Ill 60048. The food is great! The people that work there are nice. However, for the last past several months that I have ordered food on-line none of the offers, deals or special promotions that I get via email work so I end up having to call to place my order. Once I call, the girl/girls that take the orders never have any knowledge of the specials or promotions. I tell them about the promotion I received via email and they act dumbfounded and confused. They also are never aware of the deals that are directly posted on their website. I feel like I'm in a "Twilight Zone" episode while speaking to them trying to figure this out. It also seems like they cannot override anything or adjust any prices. Their answer is to pay regular price (because they are unaware of the promotion) then call back tomorrow morning to speak with the manager for a price adjustment or resolution. This is too much of a hassle to just get some food with the expectation of getting a special or promotion they are running on their website or with the emails they send you. The last three times we ordered from them not only did we NOT get the deal that they were offering, but on the last order we got the wrong order and were over charged. I am sad to say that they have lost my family as customers. UPDATE... I posted this on their Facebook page and it was removed 3 min after posting it. read more

I order here very often. 10/10 food, service and accommodations! Definitely recommend.

Eating here is hit or miss the service when you order usually is friendly however they often screw the order up for example I had ordered a meatball sandwich for my girlfriend she ended up getting a chicken Parmesan sandwich. The ranch dressing is god-awful just in my personal opinion the cheese sticks are flavorless the bread and mushrooms taste like brains Industry soggy it's almost like eating worm bait. If you want to get some thing worthwhile stick to their pizzas their thin crust is very good and their thick crust is just all right read more

My husband Brian ordered the baked penne with meatballs and garlic bread. He absolutely loved it! It was a ton of food it will give him a meal tommorow also! You've got a loyal customer now!!! 6/20/23 read more

No more Rosatis, Wauconda IL location for us. They have good pizza, however, upon trying delivery recently, that was supposed to be "no contact", the delivery driver stood @ the door, no mask (even after opening door a bit stating it was supposed to be "no contact"). This location appears not to know what it's doing, which can be dangerous w/the Covid Delta Variant in the air. read more

I've eaten at Rosatis for years and have always had middle-of-the-line, decent experiences there. Not great, not horrible. Until tonight. We ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich, baked mostaccoli, and ribs. The baked mostaccoli was delicious and is the only reason for the 2 starts instead of 1. The ribs were pretty bad. They were tough, like they hadn't been cooked long enough. The sandwich, though, was absolutely horrific. The chicken was noticeably charred and burnt to the point that I don't even know how an employee of Rosati's could have put that on a sandwich and decided to send that out to a customer for delivery. It was disgusting. Below is a picture of the chicken (bread and cheese not pictured since I picked the chicken off and ate just the bread and cheese since it was the only edible part of the item!). I've never had worse food delivered to me, and after spending over $40 on this meal, I've never felt so ripped off. I won't be ordering from Rosati's again if this is the quality of food I can expect them to be okay with serving their customers. read more

Rosati's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Wauconda, Illinois

I called the next day and spoke to the manager on duty and was literally told the situation was my fault. I had a snapshot of the payment and the charge that was made and did not want to do anything to make it right. 6 days later I still have a charge sitting on my card finally had to email corporate to notify this. I'm not looking to get anything for free I just want my card to be credited for something I never got. The manager on duty Tuesday morning was extremely rude hoping to have someone resolve this for me. And by the way I get a copy and paste answer on my review hoping to make it right next time ? read more

Placed a big order the other day. They overcharge for their toppings. Pizza tastes nothing special. Had a coupon to use for 25% off that totally forgot to mention over at the register. Called back a few days later, the person on the phone, either the owner or the manager sounded very arrogant and did not honor it. Won't order again from this business. read more

50 bucks for a 2 topping pizza give me a break dominos is cheaper and u get more toppings

If I could rate them zero stars I would. I ordered from this location 2 days ago. Had a great experience.... placed the same order tonight, Ed (manager), and his staff member gave me extreme attitude. Stated that they couldn't place my order because I asked for a side of garlic butter ... which I had got 2 Days prior. Then when I asked for corporates number he claimed he didn't have it ... your the manager and don't know your own corporate number ? They are extremely rude at this location! I am actually shocked that you would lose a regular customer Over some garlic butter????..... I advise others to go elsewhere , slyce or panhandlers! Better pizza, Better customer service ! Corporate, please check on your employees and maybe they need to attend additional customer service courses... not sure why your staff is denying orders over a side of garlic butter .... We ordered elsewhere! Will never order from this location ever again! Ever! read more

We ordered two pizza's for dinner, and after an hour+, the guy finally arrived. It was a Wednesday, not a busy evening or weekend. He only brought one of the pizza's!! They said it would be another 45 minutes to make another pizza. They didn't offer ANY sort of compensation for the delay. WORST pizza service anywhere in the area. TOTAL incompetence! I usually don't review negatively, but this was ridiculous! They said that they'd give a discount on our next order which will never happen... read more

Picked up dinner from the rosati's pizza in Wauconda on the way home from work... and we all got sick. Never getting food from there again.

We are regulars there and we order there so often that staff knows me, they see me walk in and have my order ready for me. Food is awesome too, I have a picky eater and this is the only place he will eat pizza from. Staff has always been very friendly, we use to order for delivery and the guy delivering was always friendly too, love the food and the staff here. read more

Pizza here is OK, not great. However if you order a STUFFED pizza, make you they understand what exactly you're ordering. They lose a star for sending the wife home with calzones instead of stuffed pizza. I mean really? You're running a pizza joint and someone orders a stuffed pizza for two because you have 8 different sizes of "medium" and you send them home with calzones? read more

,,,We ordered one of the "newer" Specialty pizzas on the Menu - the Nini's Napoleon. THEY LEFT OFF ONE of the three ingredients! I called D... at Rosati's letting him know what hapened. I told him I wasn't happy & wanted a credit of $16.99 off my next pie. D... said they couldn't do that and could only offer 25% off my next pie or they would make another one free of charge. THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH when they messed the order up in the first place! D... argued the point it is store policy set forth by the store owner, Raj. I mentioned to D... if he pulls up our history he can see we have not been recent regulars because of these mishaps, thus the reason why we have not frequented THIS PLACE in such a long time. After calling back because I was hung up on... I told him if he wasn't willing to help now, have Raj, store owner, call me so we can settle this. So I write this awaiting Raj's call. If he calls me back giving me the credit for THEIR MESS UP, I will post a follow up letting Yelp Community of this establishment's worthiness. Blah, blah, blah... A full hour passed & no call from Raj, store owner. I grabbed what was left of the pie & drove back to Rosatis. I presented the mishap in the box & politely asked for a full refund. The original guy who I spoke to had left for the evening & the manager left in charge was reiterating what the guy on the phoned argued. Further, I was told why should a refund be given when half the pie was eaten. YES, half the pie was eaten but it still doesn't explain why a Specialty pie is missing one of the three ingredients. Again, I thanked him for the free offer of the new pie but asked for a full refund. It was not until the cook from the back came out front and told the manager to give me a refund. The cook knew what happened & he wasn't going to debate. Thank you cooks at Rosatis! While the front end folks didn't score high marks in Customer Service... Leave it up to the cooks to save points for accomplishment. I will positively note the chicken wings we ordered with sauce on the side were Excellent! I changed my original one star to two since the cook from the back "manned" up. I am not willing to give another star to three, as the owner has not called me nor will I hold my breath. I will let a few months lapse again & see if there has been improvement. Thank you for reading my review. read more

Order at this one because they use grub hub so it's convenient but not happy at all with the timing and delivery . Our order was 10 minutes late called they said they would call the driver said he will be there in 3 minutes right down the street OK... Well 11 minutes after that he shows up no sorry no nothing no phone call from the restaurant to apologize. Over 20 minutes late and we are 7 miles from you is not OK. The only reason for a 2 star is the food was very good besides the chicken Parmesan sandwich way to much sauce soggy and gross. Will go to the other local rosattis next time they seem to be better. read more

First of all, I grew up eating Rosati's pizza. It's the best around, IMHO. However, I did not want pizza tonight, and our options were limited. According to the Wauconda location's online menu, they offer hot dogs. Well heck- I think I want a hot dog. Nope. No hot dogs. The guy didn't know what I was talking about- even when I stated that I was reading it off their online menu. He was nice- and offered to get me an updated menu. Just irritating that they clearly have no online presence. Even their facebook hasn't been updated since early 2014. Frustrating, and that's why the low review. Please update your online. read more

ordered an Italian Beef Sandwich w NO red sauce. They asked if I wanted hot or sweet peppers. Yes, sweet. You should tell the customer that the peppers have red sauce!! They put them on anyways. Ridiculous! And after waiting over an hour for delivery, couldn't even eat it! read more

We waited a hour and a half in a Thursday afternoon for delivery, of course the food was cold and disgusting so I told the delivery driver I wanted to call a manager he yelled at me and said he has other delivery's took the food and left. This was the 4th time I had decided to give them another chance I will never order again. Terrible customer service and the employees are rude!!! read more

First let me say that I love Rosati's pizza, however this location is the worst!!! The last few times my family and I have gotten the wrong order delivered, or our food has been burnt! & let me say the young kids who work here are incredibly rude. This place is ran by teenage boys who could care less (I have yet to see an actual adult/or female working here) and the food quality is now terrible. The inside of this place is also very disgusting with flies everywhere. My family and I ordered food for the last time here the other day, as this is how our pizza came! (Picture attached) I suggest ordering from JJ twigs instead!!! Might be a little more pricey but definitely worth it! read more

Rosati's Pizza - Not sure if the delivery driver likes to play speed racer or what! Cheese almost totally off the pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Wauconda, Illinois

Always excellent service and pizza! Nice people on the phone and delivering pizzas! Happy to support this local business!

have had pizza at almost all the pizza places in wauconda. Rosati's is a tried and true option. always done well.

we have lived in the area for almost ten years and gotten food from Rosatti's many times - for family dinners as well as major events, and it has always been delicious, with a lot of selections for a complete meal! We highly recommend read more

I love this rosati's location. I've never had a problem with my order or delivery. I called in one night for delivery and didn't have any coupons. The pizza is for sure above average. We only get the thin crust though, as far as the pizza. The sandwiches are good as well, and they always have good deals/coupons . Delivery has always been fast when we order, and the food always hot. read more

Pizza is the greatest cuisine in the world and my favorite food. Mostly everyone in the world has had pizza in some way or form. First, the taste, depending on the topping you choose; pizza can be different for everyone. I would rather get our food here at Rosati's in Wauconda ! They have always make our food just perfect for my family and Also the hardworking delivery gentlemen getting us our food always on time and hot. I really recommend this location. read more

Still a good pizza but I feel very strongly that they haven't rolled their own dough for several years and that's my only complaint. I loved the traditional thin crust pizzas and miss them! We order when guests come from out of town and request them. Very good service, delivery and staff has been friendly. Still, a good pizza. read more

I always gave the delivery guy a good tip, last couple times the pizza was bought an hour later, cold, and no coke, so I didnt tip and they told me they would never deliver to my address again. The fact that I always tipped extremely generously, and even over tipped at times, this time they bring me a cold pizza and an hour late with no coke, and they tell me they wont deliver to me anymore for not tipping. Ridiculous, I know, considering how much I have ordered before from this joint and tipped extremely well. read more

Incredible pizza I got from this location last night it was amazing, I havent ordered from them in a while but boy oh boy Im coming back. They also have this new menu that has build your own pasta I will for sure be trying that on my next order. read more

Used to order from here almost every Friday night. Used to be good. Then the sauce began to taste burnt. Thought it might be a one time thing. Ordered it again and it was just as bad. Decided to try the other location in Lake Zurich. Called and ordered for pick up. Was told it would be 20 minutes. No problem. Went to pick up and was told they did not have an order for me. They did make a pizza while I waited. They did not offer any compensation for my inconvenience. I finally got the pizza and was yet again disappointed. It was even worse than the pizza from the Wauconda location. Should not have even bothered. What a waste for my time and money. Never again. read more

WARNING...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Customer service sucks! We ordered a pizza and a 2 liter of soda...they tell us they don't have certain toppings that we order on our pizza from another Rosati's Pizza location. Then they show up with no soda. They said they will go back and get it. They are 10 mins away.....over 2 hours later with multiple phone calls of us wondering where they are, they offer us a cake.....when the driver showed up with the soda 2.5 hours later they gave us 3 cannoli's.....didn't know that was considered cake. Also, when we were calling to see where this driver was...whoever answered the phone had an attitude and said they were busy. Then they said the driver was on the way; we called back-and then the person said they would send a driver now....ok are they on the way or they are leaving now because I called over an hour ago and 15 mins ago. No one knew what was going on. Sorry, don't care how busy you are when our order is missing and your literally 10 mins away. We only ordered from this location because we had coupons- they obviously are hurting for business at their location. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! read more

Long time Rosati's customer. Very disappointed in the service from the Wauconda,IL store. Ordered a Pizza tonite Monday October 10/07/2013. I was informed delivery orders would take 1 hour. Delivery arrived early and I had stepped next door with out my cell phone for an emergency. Upon returning I noticed missed calls on my cell phone so I called the store. The gentlemmen was rude and acted bothered with my call. After a few moments he said that they would try and get the pizza back out to me but gave no guarantee or even a time frame. I said look I understand the situation, but I am a very good customer and bypass 5 other pizzerias to order from Rosati's. He informed me that perhaps I should order a pizza one of those places and hung up. Very disappointing that in today's economic climate a customer would be treated that way. I have been on the fence for awhile anyway as it appears recently the franchise was taken over by new ownership. Perhaps there should be a message sent that this is not a college town, so unshaven, unruly, pothead, rude college kids are probably not a formula for success! Big time disappointed! I know that Gary and Lisa would have never tolerated this unprofessional behavior. read more
