I called up and said I've brought my springer to harley countless times and they keep feeding me the same old shit and taking my money. Enough was enough. Someone suggested giving Rosa's a shot, if they'll take your bike. I called and explained that my springer wasn't running right, all the issues. They said bring it in. I understood very quickly they are not there to hang out and compliment you and your 50 thousand dollar bagger. These guys are old school. They quoted me around what it ended up being. They suggested tuning it, even took care of a different brake pad they knew worked well on my bike. I'm not going to say they are the friendliest, or have the best customer service, but they will fix your shit. If you can't handle having your ass kissed, go the fuck somewhere else. Stopped in last week and spoke to Kenny. He was very pleasant, showed me around and we had a nice conversation. I asked if they mounted tires and he said sure. Quoted me $100 to mount balance , new valve stems front/rear tires on my ultra. Dropped them off a couple of days later and met the owner...a little quiet (introduced myself to him and had to practucally pry HIS name out of him).Ok, no problem. Got a call later in the day saying my tires were ready but they didn't change the tire valves because there was "nothing wrong" with them. Ok again, no problem. The problem came when I got the bill for $140.72! I said "you quoted me $100.00". Kenny replied "yeah well the owner charges what he wants". No phone call saying there was an upcharge, no valve stem replacements, and a 40% overcharge. I'd say that FIRST impression was favorable, but in practice, I'll NEVER go to ROSAS FOR ANYTHING. Took my electraglide in for service, inspection and a problem with front brakes. Got a call to pick up bike and found out that brake parts were on order. They were going to call me when parts came in. A month later I called for an update and was told parts should be in and to bring the bike in that Monday. I asked for confirmation that parts were there before riding an hour again with no front brakes. Another month and no reply. I called again and was told HD didn't have parts on hand. Called Nassau county HD... parts on shelf ready to go. Called Rosas back and was told to call back in a week to discuss. I'll be going elsewhere. I can't comprehend how a company stays in business handling customers like this. Took my '92 FXRT to Rosa's on a recommendation from a mechanic in Arizona that works on the other bike I own that is kept out west. The FXR was spitting oil from the breather. Andrew was straight up from the beginning about the worst case scenario involved in fully repairing, not just patching up, the bike. Long story short Rosa's thoroughly went through my entire motor, cracked the cases cleaned up and refurbished the bottom end, completed a top end job, and tuned my bike. I was back on the road in two weeks. Andrew was extremely fast with the work, communicative, and straight up about the damages and the work being done. went in and spoke to Kenny to get ideas on having an Exhaust ,cam and tune done on a new low rider 117 . My son who's bike it is was asking questions about how he will tune the motorcycle and Kenny seemed nasty so he just walked out. Kenny replied where's he going , I said he left so his response was F**k him and you can leave too. I never said a bad word or had an attitude towards him , nor did my son. We looked up his bad reviews which seemed very similar to what we had experienced. I would recommend to stay away and find another shop no matter how far. I bought a 67 shovel off some crackhead needed a lot of work I bought it to the shop on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon after doing extensive work I got the bike home and the starter is running while the motor is running I brought it back no less than five times no results I heard about Andrew called him he said bring it in he looked at the bike said it could be any one of six things he started at Point a and worked his way through Andrew replaced all the parts that the other guy put in with better parts the bike is running better than ever the starter is not running away any longer and I don't have to keep driving up and down this island with my bike in the trailer so for all you sissy boys who don't like getting yelled at he's not yelling he's telling you what's got to be done if you don't want to listen get out I'm with Andrew 100%, he is the best mechanic on this island thank you again Andrew read more

Wouldn't recommend, call the shop to answer questions about working on my bike and left my number for someone to call me back, they never got back so i called again and get the same deal "we are super busy someone will try and get back to you" never heard of shitty business saying someone will "try" to get back to me. A real nasty guy mentally deranged. Ive been a professional dealer mechanic for 40 years on cars. I Called to ask a simple question about a shovelhead and he got nasty saying do you not understand me!! Im not gonna say it again. I figured ok maybe hes having a bad day. Called a month later to get a tire mounted. He said ok do you have the tire? I said yes and he got nasty and said we dont mount tires unless we sell it thank you goodbye!! I really don't understand some reviews some guys crying about how much they spent how much they would charge some guys complain about how rude and how this and how that you know for a Harley Davidson guy most of us in a pretty tough and pretty lenient as far as spending and as far as taking other people's temperament. I on the other hand had experienced Andrew before I was always satisfied I never gave him a review until now but he did my 2007 Fatboy which had a whole bunch of work done to it and I asked him to dyno tune it, I called him on a Saturday I just got back from Laconia the bike didn't feel right and I just thought he was the man. It was a rainy day kind of shity I took the bike in couldn't wash it from Laconia definitely couldn't wash it because it was the rainy day left it there Saturday he calls me three days later the bike is done. When I picked it up not only is it clean and shiny it runs better then I ever felt it after the work. I asked him how much it was $500 he knocked off $45 and gave me a t-shirt, I don't see any hairs on the suit the man is what he is he tells you he does his work I'm happy nothing else to talk about read more

Best move I've made since purchase of my bike - 2010 FLHRC , bike was stock.. only pipes , air cleaner and tune (stage 1?). I called Rosa's Cycles in Huntington and spoke with owner Andrew for a bit explaining that vi was missing the power of my old bike '02 Deuce with stage 4 putting out about 90 HP and 99 lbf-ft. Well with the Road King being about 150lbs heavier, it just didn't have the power I wanted. Andrew recommended his 96" to 107" kit and I was sold. I also had the shop install a set of Super Shox for the rear. I had a buddy of mine asking about everything while I was talking with Andrew and he decided to have his bike done also (just the motor work '09 heritage) Well in a week's time both bikes were ready and all I can say is WOW! The review left by Chris J a few months back calling the owner Andrew "Nasty" and "Deranged" is an understatement at best. I RODE my bike in to have them find out why it was riding rough and stalled at idle. I was hoping for a professional dyno tune. A few days later Andrew called me and informed me that I needed extensive/expensive carburetor work. When I said that surprised me as i literally just put on a refurbished carb a week ago. Andrew's immediately turned nasty and abusive when I questioned him. I told him forget it, (who needs to be spoken to like that!) And then it really hit the fan. He said I owed him $250(cash) to put it back together then hung up on me! ...huh? I called back, he wouldn't pick up. I resisted the urge to go right there and decided to give this hot head a chance to cool off. The next morning I woke up to my bike parked (unlocked) on the street in front of my house with a bag of 14 parts (my disassembled carb etc) hanging on the handlebar...huh?! However, my chrome aircleaner cover assembly was missing. I called, spoke to someone, let them know, they said they would ck and get back. No call, left a message the next day, then again next day, no reply. I show up today to get it, and Andrew flips out saying to get the F*#ck out of his shop. Goes berserk!!! If you known a vintage bike don't even try and ask him a question about self repair work. With Andrew it's all about what he can make off of you and that's it. Back in the day it was all about getting you back on the road and riding not just the money. I had to repair a damaged rear cylinder that had a stripped spark plug. I took his advice and had him repair the problem which meant removing the head and welding and tapping a new spark plug hole. After getting the bike back three quarters put back together, I had to finish the job and paying him 1000.00 to do the job. Well guess what the plug leaks and I get exhaust coming from the plug when I run the bike. So when I bring the bike back up to him he gives me an attitude about it, like I did something wrong. His response was replace the head and walks away, so at who's expense and after the way I got the bike back the first time I really don't want him touching the bike again. Besides his shit attitude, he doesn't stand by his work plain and simple. I called Rick from V-Twin in Oyster Bay and he spoke with me for a good 30 minutes on the phone explaining what my options were, a real nice guy. I should of brought the bike to him in the first place. All I'm saying is know one should be treated the way he treats people. After having problems with my 103 SE motor, Andrew upgraded my MC with one of his 107 kits suited for my type of MC and the kind of riding I do. This review is not about teh service, but more about the pricing. I rode from Colorado to visit my family on the Island and had a problem with a front tire on the way. I had the tire overnighted to family's house since no one carried this type of a tire. I Googled a local bike shop and the closest Harley place was Rosa's Cycle. I went there to have the tire replaced. I was charged $120 to have the front tire mounted. When I got back home, I was told that the charge was way out of line - all other shops charge between $50-$90 for the same service. Not sure why I was "ripped off" - maybe the guy noticed my Colorado plates I figured I had no choice but to pay that kind of money. read more

Great shop. Needed an inspection done and they're available on Saturdays. The man at the front desk was attentive and quick. He checked out my bike, took a few notes and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. I went to another shop in Queens and they claimed my brake pads were bad and wanted to charge me $200 to replace. Went to 2 other dealerships and they confirmed that the pads were good. read more

My girlfriend had brought her 1979 Harley Davidson Shovelhead to Rosa's cycle shop to have a few items repair. At first the owner Andrew seem to be helpful and concern, the next day he was rude and nasty to her. She wanted her shifter fix and the solenoid replace . We came to the shop to pick up the bike , originally he was supposed to charge her $100.00 for the work instead he hit her with a bill for $162.00. When she questions the bill they had no answer why they change the labor price and told her she had to pay. On top of that we notice there was damage done to the bike rear fender and when we asked them what happened to the bike they said that this was not done here . They tried to covered up by painting the damage area's of the fender with red nail polish . Once we told them we were going to make a police report as soon as the police show up they lock the doors and they all ran out of the shop like little girls Andrew leading the pack.
