She spends the time needed to hear the problems and to explain the issues, engaged with all the myriad data points every time I have an exam (imagine doing that for every patient; I know that she does because I'm acquainted with a few others of her patients and we all marvel about this) and yet at the same time she always brings a positive/encouraging friendly/kind/caring demeanor that is attentive to the smallest issues and patiently gracious even with the eccentricities of difficult patients (ask how I know). Her staff is professional and kind in person, and you'll generally get a same-day reply from Dr. Barlow or her staff (never later than the next day!) when you send an inquiry through the MyChart system. Dr. Barlow not only gives good, targeted referrals for specialist care, she follows up to make sure that care was provided to her standards. Dr. Barlow comes across as a wonderful caring friend - my wife and I think it's almost a miracle that we'd be blessed to know a physician who's both so razor-edge sharp and yet such a lovely person.

This is for the Sleep Clinic and the Psychiatric side of Kaseman…read more I have been suffering insomnia on and off my entire life - literally since I was a child - but within the last year and a half my sleep quality has gone completely out the window. If I'm lucky I get 3-4 hours of sleep. I made an appointment for April in like Sept of 2025, and got in April. The doctor that I saw (Halley Contreras CNP) basically had no interest in speaking to me or listening to my concerns, put me on another waiting list to get the at home sleep study, which was summer of 2026. I did the sleep study, and according to Halley, I have sleep apnea. However, according to the Omnisleep clinic, I do NOT have sleep apnea. So, basically, Halley wanted me to pay out of pocket for a CPAP that I couldn't afford that I didn't need, Dr. Mavish Khan refused to prescribe me sleep medication based on the information that I needed a CPAP. I went to omnisleep, had an in office Study, and even the TECH was like "I didn't need to wake you up for a cpap, and your oxygen didn't drop below 90". The only thing that's worth anything at Kaseman is the ER. The ER is fantastic if you have a migraine. I have not had anything else even meet a third of my expectation of care. But hey, maybe that's my fault! It's not like doctors are supposed to know more than me, practically an APS drop out but I'm glad they make a lot of money and don't do anything to help their patients! I will absolutely not set foot on the Kaseman campus at this point because you only get so many times to waste my time before I figure out that you don't give an F about your patients.

I did not even want to be there after five minutes. I definitely will not go be going back to him. Even wrote things that I didn't even say in his report. And some of the things that he said to me made absolutely no sense and I immediately lost trust in what he was saying. He definitely should not be seeing patients. Trust me when I say, do not pick this doctor. You will regret it. And you will be wasting your time because you'll have to go look for another one.
