Getting an appointment to see a dermatologist can take months since they are fully booked. The only thing that I don't like about this location is that you'll have to pay for parking. They take cash or credit at the booth. I arrived a little early thinking I would have to sign some forms but I didn't have to. I parked in their underground parking garage at P1. The suit is still in Suite 315 so the third floor. I waited longer to see the dermatologist still instead of actually talking to her. My appointment was pretty simple since I just needed her to prescribe me the acne cream again. She answered all my questions and give helpful advice.

All of my recent doctors within the past few years have really lacked person-to-person skills, many of them not even introducing themselves when they walk in the room. Often I am left feeling like a number on a checklist instead of a human when in doctor's appointments, which is why this visit with Dr. Eliz was such a nice change. She came in so friendly and sweet, introduced herself and her intern, and asked me my name and how I was doing. I know that seems simple and basic, but it hasn't happened in a long time, so I already felt more at ease right away. She communicated with me through the whole procedure so I felt comfortable and safe and informed (which I very much appreciated), and it went quickly and smoothly. Then my nurse who later had to draw blood from me was also a wooonderful human who also made me feel comfortable and at ease. All around good people here and I feel so much relief having found them.

When we called back she proceeded to argue with my husband and said we were being recorded wich my husband then asked to speak to a manager and told them to go back to the recording so they can hear how rude she was. I did a quick search of urgent cares that were open now and I came across Holy Cross Urgent Care. I called them to confirm they were still open and if they accepted my insurance. I spoke to Steve and he confirmed that my insurance was accepted and I told him I would be coming in now. To make things quicker and just to confirm he told he could run my insurance to verify that it's valid and it's accepted. I really appreciated that because I didn't want to be blind sided if it was out of network. I arrived within 20mins and they could tell I was in distress Steve called me by name and really put me at ease. I had to fill out some quick paperwork, give my ID and insurance. Thankfully the check in process went by quick, I was greeted by Josh and Mike Chulyan, PA-C. Josh took my vitals and after I told Mike what had taken place with me. I absolutely loved his bedside manner. He took his time to listen to EVERYTHING I said and lol I talked a lot. He made me feel calm and heard. He recommended an x-ray and than we would discuss. Steve did my x-ray and I have to say I appreciate him so much for his care and concern. When he was performing the x ray he asked for my permission to touch me/position me for the imaging and I really think this was so respectful. Once again great service and overall professionalism. I love that they have an x-ray machine on site. Clean waiting room. Clean, spacious rooms and even a hydration room for IV drips. Wow!! Btw the facility on the outside doesn't look very pretty but let me say the minute you walk in you would have never think how amazing this facility inside truly is. The facility was extremely well organized and clean. They have parking in the back. I also like that I didn't have to wait long to be seen, and literally from the moment I walked in, these 3 gentleman were so welcoming, attentive and so efficient. They really took the time to listen to my concerns and Mike provided me with my treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. All I have to say is that I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received from the whole entire staff...Steve, Josh and of course from Mike, PA-C. I couldn't wait to come home to write this review because this is the best care I have ever received at an urgent care ever. God forbid I ever have to come back but if I do this will be the first place I go. I highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you again Dr. Mike, Steve and Josh for the level of care you provided to me tonight. I appreciate you all so very much.

When I first…read moreconsulted with Dr. Patak, He was a kind, sincere, quality doctor that actually listened and took the time to comprehend and answer all questions and concerns. Well, I was fooled and found out the hard and wrong way that it was an act. This is a doctor that needs to consider retiring because when you stop caring about your patients and don't even have the moral decency and practice of informing your patient you can no longer care for them and at least refer them (in this case, myself) to another qualified doctor then it's time... It's two faced when you talk about a another doctor to me about an issue then turn around and talk mess about your own patient to that same doctor you were negatively talking about. I personally had to deal with this doctor who was very timid when it was time to make the right decision about my health care when HIS dialysis clinic wasn't performing their duties or negligently handling my dialysis treatments. It's a scary moment when your life is in the hands of individuals that genuinely don't care about your well being but able to perform damage control on a regular basis. Dr. Patak acts and seems like a great doctor but just like a new relationship, after the 2nd or 3rd date, Cheap dinners, no returned phone calls and then getting dumped by text message... That's what it felt like and It's only right I share this so it doesn't happen to you. I'm a man of God and I treat people how I would like to be treated. I only pray that the other patients don't get the same treatment as I did and if so then Shame on Dr. Patak, Shame on Davita and Shame on the staff that participates in unethical practices and care at Kidney Dialysis Center of Northridge!

1 Star - Reception Manager Shelley's Lies & Dr. Etehad's Cover-Up Harm Patients…read more Dr. Etehad is an excellent doctor, and his staff (except one) are stellar! But the reception manager Shelley's actions are unacceptable. After switching providers in Bakersfield, my new doctor faxed a records request five weeks ago--I saw the fax confirmation. Shelley ignored it, lied in an email to me claiming she never got it, and even after I emailed her last week demanding she notify my doctor by the next day, she didn't call (I even gave her the information). My new doctor confirmed yesterday they've received anything. When I left a message and confronted Shelley, I demanded to speak to Dr. Etehad. He claimed he didn't get the request, clearly protecting her despite the fax proof AND EMAIL with my new doctors information excusing her delay that's stalling my care. My new doctor's office is confused why only Shelley handles records releases. Shelley's done this before. For my annual mammogram with prescribed ultrasound, she told radiology only one breast was approved, forcing me to choose--shocking their manager. When I needed my file for housing paperwork, she refused, then made me wait 15 minutes while she dawdled. For over a decade, I've endured Shelley's rude, condescending attitude toward me and others. Dr. Etehad seems aware but won't fire her. Shelley's lies and HIPAA violations risk patient health. I'm reporting to the California Medical Board. Avoid this practice until she's gone!
