Very bad experience with this "ROSA". She showed 2 very different faces before and after we paid for our photo sessions. She said yes to all our requests when we booked our session, but, she denied everything after we paid for it. I really doubted if all those pictures showing on her gallery were taken by this ROSA or somebody else??!! When we received our pictures, the first thing i wanted to say is "OMG". I really couldn't believe they were taken from a so-called photographer. Poor lighting and angles, also ugly background. And, she captured a lot of the unnecessary stuff on almost all the pictures (e.g. a crowd of people at the back or just right next to us, garbage bin, traffic cones, etc). When I called and requested her to just simply remove/crop them out. She said NO as she thinks there is no problem at all. Oh...COME ON!!!! I kept negotiating with her and she dared to say "I don't care about you as there is always NEW customers". She is so so so rude and arrogant. This is the 2nd year that Rosa has taken the Group and Individual photos for my child's daycare. I was disappointed with her photos the first year, and this year is no better. The kids look bored, very few are smiling, and the photos themselves are very average. She has watermarks all over her photos, and it's hard to actually see the subject. Last year we asked if she could reduce the watermarks so we could actually see our child and she not only refused, but she was quite rude about it. She also won't email the image, but instead you have to buy a USB from her if you'd like a digital copy. Not only outdated, but wasteful. I feel that this I must sign up to Yelp and write this review. We have used at least 6 other professional photographers in the past for our family photo-shoots and this is BY FAR the worst. I am not kidding if I said more than 50% of normal people would take better photos with their phones than her with her camera. Over-exposed, not enough light, blurry photos, people in the background, etc. can describe 90% of the photos she took for us - about 80 total. There are so many different things in he surrounding that she did not take into account, poles, rocks, broken concrete, shadow covering face, etc. that any photographer would pick up with ease. The worst thing is that she just gives you the RAW photos without any touch-ups at all. Every photographer I have used in the past would at least do minor touch-ups before sending them to you to pick, then further touch-ups would be done. For her, she has ZERO interest in touching any of the photos and when I asked, she tells me to do it myself. She is definitely NOT a photographer - it is a insult to even call her one. read more

Buy beware, although she claims she is a professional photographer, the results show a different story. I reached out to Rosa for a Groupon promotion and did not have high expectations as it was a last minute decision. However, the results were even worse than expected. She spent about 40 minutes taking pictures of my family and stated she had over 100 quality pictures that she would send me. During the photoshoot, I already provided feedback on the over exposure to sun leading to us squinting and she disregarded my concerns as she claimed she was a professional photographer and the pictures will turn out well. There were many pictures where we were in the shadows and I made sure she was aware. Two days later, I received her email with a link to the photos. The results were just shocking. There were 80 pictures remaining as she had to remove the majority of them due to the fact they were unusable. Many pictures were out of focus, over exposure due to direct sunlight which led to squinting eyes, shadows over the face, poor background (tree's coming out of the top of our heads) and worse of all, her own shadow's in many of the photos. None of the photos were even edited (Crop out her own shadow perhaps?) so it clearly shows she thinks that her quality of work is good. I emailed her to inquire about my concerns and she stated that a professional photographer and the photos have a lot of creativity. I responded politely stating that the majority of the photos cannot be used. Rosa responded by stating that my judgement is wrong and there are no issues with the photos she took. I had already paid her and have no issues with that however, I do not want someone else to have the same experience as myself. Be careful when considering using Rosa as she is not a professional photographer even though she claims she is. I don't usually write reviews but my experience was so horrible at Rosa's studio that I felt I need to this time. I was really looking forward to an enjoyable and fun photo session with my two kids and husband but not one second of it was enjoyable. First off, the studio was dirty. Rosa was also not friendly and had very poor communication and gave little to no direction. Anything that came out of her mouth was rude and abrupt. My 1.5 year old son had a cold/runny nose and was being a bit fussy and she had no patience for it at all. She told me to wipe all the gunk off my son's face because she was not going to spend time photoshopping his face. She put a box of small things in the middle of the floor and expected us to do the work of making my son stop crying and smile. When he didn't, she said it was the mom's (ie: ME) mistake that he was not behaving. She also ordered us around like we were puppets, pushing our shoulders and backs, telling us to stand straight, saying we slouch too much etc. At one point, my older son was trying to have some fun and make some silly faces for the pictures. Rosa went on to tell my son to stop making silly faces. We got so frustrated we stopped the session and said it wasn't working out. At that point, she had no remorse for what she put us through. She quickly turned off all the studio lights and lead us to the door with a simple "I don't agree". It was just a very horrible experience. I don't know Rosa and I have nothing against her but I really hope with this review that she can improve her customer service and communication and professionalism because she showed none of that during our session. Unprofessional and very poor quality photos. She does not consider the surroundings, backgrounds (i.e. there is a pole coming out the top of my head in our photos, and she didn't notice my bra strap was showing in all our photos, and a person was in the background of our photo). The photos she took are useless to us, and was a waste of money. We asked for portraits and she only provided distant shots. I wouldn't trust Rosa with important photos like a wedding that you would not be able to retake. She has poor communication skills, a bad attitude and doesn't seem want to listen and/or understand her customers' requests.
