The hope was that these medicines would at least diminish the pain I felt in my feet. Nothing helped, but I refused to give up the search. I thought I'd give acupuncture a try. To be brutally honest, normal acupuncture didn't help much. I began to read about electric acupuncture which, along with vitamin B12 therapy may actually help in rebuilding nerves. I asked Elena if she was familiar with this method, and happily, she was. For the past several sessions my treatments have been exclusively electric acupuncture, and IT WORKS !!!! While it may not be 100% cure, for the first time things feel like they are absolutely moving in the right directions. My suggestion, do a little research for yourself. About 1 year ago I developed additional issues with other areas of my back and It was effecting me physically and mentally. I'm 65 but in my head I'm 45 and want to live out my life in an active normal way. Before I met Sun I truly thought I was running out of options and my only other recourse was another surgery. By my 1st or 2nd treatment I was better and by my 5 visit the weakness in my leg and pain in my hip ( which I've been told by ortho's is radiated from my back) are just about completely gone.
