I have been going to Dr. Stephen for over a year and my joints have not been this fluid and loose in years.

I recently finished my career as a Division I Athlete at the University of Illinois as a Track &…read moreField And Cross Country Athlete. I didn't mean that as a brag, but to emphasize my belief that Dr. Gatteau is one of the most positive influences on my running career. His adjustments were huge for a temporary issue, but he helped me develop a process to approaching my sport from a recovery & wellness perspective that actually helped all areas of my life. I came in the summer of 2013 before my senior year of High school with issues with pretty substantial pain, inflammation, and tightness. He made some pretty important adjustments for the time. But he also taught me how to stretch properly, and to relax and naturally drop into a stretch. Using your parasympathetic nervous system vs. forcing into a stretch (sympathetic). This was all in 3 appointments, in one week when I was on vacation, with a huge impact on my career. Before meeting him, I was "injury prone", and at the time I was stressed, and worrying if I'd be able to complete my last Cross Country season in one piece. Instead I was All-State in Illinois Cross Country, ran a 4:15 mile in Track, and got a Division I scholarship. As I reflect on some of my happiest experiences as an athlete, I'm thankful that Dr. Gatteau helped me develop the relaxation process that allowed me to perform at peak levels.

I reached out to him over the New Year's holiday weekend and he responded even though he was heading out of town on vacation. He called me while he was on the road to learn about my problem and recommend someone that could help me right away. The chiropractor he recommended was excellent - the best I ever experienced. He provided a service similar to Dr. Gatteau, combining chiropractic, PT & massage. Dr. Gatteau's kind-hearted help, while he was on vacation, was truly extraordinary, especially since I wasn't a patient and he knew I was visiting from Texas and couldn't become a patient. It's clear that Dr. Gatteau deeply cares about people!

I really like Doctor Caleb who is at the Taft location on Monday and Tuesdays. Last week, I felt…read moretight and especially stiff in my neck, but after his treatment I felt all opened up and moving well again. I felt so light on my feet. I've been going to the Taft location of the Joint weekly for several years and have previously liked Dr. Justin and Dr. Matt. When Dr. Matt moved to Lafayette to start his own Joint clinic, I thought I would not find another doctor I liked as much, but I have. Dr. Caleb pays attention to what I say, asks questions to help me identify what I need and at each visit he tailors his treatment to what I bring to the table that week. When I stopped going regularly, once because of money, I could tell the difference and signed up again. I feel so much better, more loose and nimble, when I'm going regularly and Dr. Caleb gives me treatments that make a difference for me. The office staff are friendly and helpful and add to a great experience.

Dr. Shay, who rotates between the Cedarwood location on Tuesdays and the Harmony location on…read moreseveral other days, is the perfect chiropractor. She's extremely knowledgeable about spinal anatomy and therapy, and she applies her knowledge very effectively. But what really sets her apart is her individualized care. She listens carefully to your own description of your problems instead of jumping right into the standard routine. She then customizes her care to resolve those problems, and she always remembers your history the next time. To top it off, her manner is warm and sincere, and she's passionate about what she does. When my adult son came to Fort Collins from South Carolina on a visit, I allotted precious visit time to driving to the more distant (for me) Harmony location to have Dr. Shay adjust him. Afterwards he said that his chronically-stiff neck (he works virtually) felt better after that one adjustment than it has in years.
