I waited 6 months for an appointment with Dr. Koshy at AdventHealth Diabetes and Endocrinology…read moreTampa, only to have it canceled one week before the visit by voicemail after I missed a call. When I called back, I was told the doctor had an emergency and left the country, and the next available appointment with him would not be until December -- about 9 more months later. What makes this especially upsetting is that I was not trying to schedule some routine visit. I have Kallmann syndrome, a congenital form of secondary hypogonadism, and I needed an endocrinologist to help me start proper treatment connected to fertility and having children. I do not produce my own testosterone normally, and I was seeking specialist care to discuss hCG treatment to stimulate hormones involved in natural testosterone production and spermatogenesis. For someone in my situation, these delays are deeply serious and personal. Instead of offering real support or urgency, the office gave me almost no options. Only after I pushed did they find one appointment with another specialist 40 miles away, but then they said I needed a new referral. I got that done, waited another two weeks, and still nobody called me back. I called multiple times and was repeatedly told that manager Enid was in meetings and would call me back. She never did. When I finally came to the office in person, staff acted like they knew nothing, said there was nothing in the chart, and even claimed my appointment had been canceled because I did not have a referral -- which was not true. The whole experience felt disorganized, dismissive, and careless. At one point, the manager was loudly reacting to what staff had told me right at the front desk. I also spoke with Joelis, a call center supervisor, and did not feel my concerns were taken seriously at all. For a clinic that handles endocrine and hormone-related conditions, it is unacceptable to treat a patient's fertility concerns this way. When someone is trying to get help to preserve or begin the chance to have children, months of delay matter. Communication matters. Follow-through matters. Compassion matters. After spending hours there in person, I was finally able to get some printed proof of the cancellation and piece together part of what had happened. But this never should have reached that point. This experience caused unnecessary stress, delay, and emotional harm during an already sensitive and time-important medical situation.

The doctors provided exceptional care and ensured we had the best experience possible. In our recent training, we learned from Mill how to properly use the sugar measuring machine on a daily basis. Additionally, Lori provided us with a detailed discussion on various foods and their constituents and instructions for scheduling and necessary steps. We were fortunate to have both physicians who were not only knowledgeable but also very supportive.

I think we caught HPT earlier than the doctors that can't think out of the box would have, and I believe that this operation saved me decades of problems. Thank you, Dr. Mitchell, Deedee, Morgan, Colleen, Shannon, Daryl, Matt, and last but not least Michelle!

I was instructed to continue to take calcium for that low lab. I also continued vitamin d since it was trending up but still low. I was worried that I was going to have to take calcium for the rest of my life. But thankfully, my recently pth levels are normal. My vitamin d is finally in the normal range too. It isn't in the optimal normal range but it will get there. I just wanted to share that incase someone freaks out about pth being low after the procedure. So hopefully my labs will stabilize and continue to stay normal. Will update if anything changes. The scar is barely visible too. The incision was made at my natural fold. It healed nicely.

Already disappointed that on my ins site it claims dr ramirez is taking new patients when she is not. So my appt was with a new dr that just started. I confirmed my appt via text on the 13th. Yesterday, the 17th of Dec, they called to tell me they're cancelling my appt because they don't take my ins., even though I verified when I made the appt. Now 2 days prior to appt they suddenly can't see me & I have to go to one of their other offices that are 2x farther away which have no openings til March. Grrrr... When I got home I called back and asked what the actual issue was. Apparently they take UHC but not if it's the medicaid plan. smh. So I called my ins co and had them do a 3-way call to yet another TMG office and was told they do take my plan. wth? So we called again to make an appt, and this time they said they don't. This medical group is completely incompetent.

I went home, but I had high blood pressure and heart rate over 100 so I called the TGH line to find me a doctor and they were great. They knew I needed to get in fast and get blood pressure medicine. The hospital didn't give me any for after I left. I was assigned to Michael Escobar ARNP and he is very professional and has taken very good care of me so far. He's ordering testing I've been needing (I just got insurance). He's been a fine doctor so far, but we haven't butted heads over anything yet. Lol. I don't know how he would act if you disagreed with him on something. That's the reason for the 4 stars is because I don't know him in all situations.

Terrible experience. Only giving 1 star because I can't give 0. I took my 13 year old daughter here…read morefor an infected ingrown toenail. Dr. Reddy had a horrible bedside manner and scared my child with her first remark of "oh my gosh this might be a hospitalization!" Room had not been cleaned from previous patient and supplies are stored in a plastic drawer cart. The only reason I remained here was because my child's toe was badly infected and she did not want to go to the ER and w could not get in with any other podiatrist for over a week. After dr explained that it would "take a while" to do procedure (i asked what she meant by this and she said 15-20 mins) she wanted me to pay before she did procedure despite the fact that she takes my insurance. She was worried that my insurance would never pay and I wouldn't either. So I forked over the $125 and she got to work. Unprofessional. After removing the ingrown toenail she gave verbal instructions but no paperwork for at home care. So unprofessional. Office is shared with main practice so staff must come out into lobby to speak with people instead of through the window like a normal doctors office. Very unprofessional. When we returned a week later for the follow up, I was once again asked to pay despite the fact that I have no copayment with my insurance. She was again worried about being paid from insurance. Then she had the gall to ask for referrals. Here's a referral, Dr. Reddy! Learn from someone else how to run a practice and how to treat patients!

The technician was very patient and helpful throughout the process. I was able to get my TB test done without any problems. The only issue I've experienced is that I never received a receipt and haven't been able to find one through the app, even after searching twice. That's the only problem I've had with an otherwise smooth experience. I will have to physically go into the quest office and request a receipt. I was hoping not to have to drive in to get this done. I tried to call them but the wait time is over 10 minutes so I've given up.

Encountered the WORST ATTITUDE from a staff member today 7/15/2025. My 94 yr old mother had a lab…read morerequest for a urine sample from her doctor for a suspected uti. I had been emailed a copy of the lab request from the doctor during our drive to Quest but was reassured it would be in their system once we arrived so no need to stop and print it. We made an app appointment at 12:30 and when we arrived, the tech could not find the lab request so I offered the copy I had to be emailed over. That's when I first witnessed the attitude. As if I had inconvenienced her. Not my fault the system wasn't showing the test. There was only one other gentleman in the waiting room and no one else was on the wait list screen. The gentleman was having issues as well and was emailing his lab request paperwork. Tech handed me a post it with a handwritten email. I immediately sent the pdf attachment and continued to wait with my mother to be recalled. Tech came back out and spoke with the gentleman and then snapped at me as she walked back to towards the locked doors telling me make sure I only send the correct file attachment to which I stated that I had already done so and to please go check the email before being so snippy. 5 minutes later we are finally recalled back to room 6. Tech then complains that the referral doctor's name wasn't on the paperwork and I was looking directly at it with the ID number on the right column of the order. She continued to type my mother's year of birth incorrectly into the system and gave me an attitude again when I repeated the correct year to her. Then a coworker walked in and started chatting about needing her car battery jumped and my tech was sweet as pie to her offering to jump her car since she had a fresh new battery in hers and made jokes with her. As soon as the coworker left, the tech asks me if my mother is fasting and I ask "what for? She isn't having any blood drawn, just a urine sample for a suspected uti" I am then met again with her nasty unprofessional attitude as she snaps at me and says "I'm just doing my job and reading what is on my screen!" I then say to her that I'm asking a question because it seemed odd to ask for fasting for a urine sample for a UTI and I wanted to know what for? She then continues to run her mouth and tells us to leave the sample in the basket down the hall. Wish I would have gotten her name because she needs to be FIRED since she is completely RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL and hates her job so much! As a paying customer, I do not need to put up with such nonsense. There are better labs out there. Stay away from the VALRICO location!
