Located on a slightly seedy part of the town centre with noisy nightclubs and bars in close proximity. In the evenings you can park outside and rush inside to pick up food inside without the threat of traffic wardens hounding you.
Staff seem overworked and therefore shop floor hygiene isn't great. I dont know about anyone else, but I find unemptied and overflowing waste bins, chips strewn across the floor, and uncleaned tables, a real appetite killer.
That said the menu is good and expansive, if you like variety and choice.
Roosters sells both freshly grilled and deep fried chicken.
For me,you cant beat the piri chicken breast pitta for £2.50. Its freshly grilled with a delicately spiced chicken breast slab with fresh lettuce in between pitta bread.
Make it a meal with fries and a drink for £3.49!
It gets a higher rating than I would have given it because of the long hours they are open,and the nice leather seating area not to mention good food. Id say 75% read more
