bought a 4,000 sectional in january of 2026 and have already had to have the console electronics replaced, one seat cushion and 2 back cushions replaced. have to call tomorrow bc i now have another back cushion that the button is missing. its great that they replace it, but also sucks bc they dont trust you to send a picture in, you have to sit at home and wait 4 hrs for someone to come out. this is ridiculous for 5 months in and already having this many problems. i would hate to know if we had kids and dogs on the couch what all would be wrong! do not, i repeat do not order drew and jonathan modular sectional! its a waste of money! read more

This review is not specifically for this location. My College Student Daughter ordered from a Houston, TX, $1,000 worth of furniture and unfortunately she does not have the income to pay for it. I got involved before the items were delivered(to Mobile, AL), but had been shipped, but Representative stated we would have to wait to be delivered in order to send back. Once items were delivered. representative then stated they could not take back since it HAD been delivered. After multiple phone calls and emails now 2 months later furniture is still Sitting in original Boxes in our Home. I guess we are just going to donate Brand New furniture to GoodWill Sad, Sad these companies care nothing about there customer base. We have purchased probable $10K worth of furniture over the years. We bought furniture from Rooms To Go at the beginning of 2024. The fabric on the couch and chair failed. We exercised the one year warranty and asked to get furniture with different fabric. We were denied that opportunity and told that it is "company policy" to replace it with the same exact thing. We told the person on the phone that it was futile to get this furniture again because the fabric would just fall apart again and that is exactly what happened. We were then visited by another person to inspect the problem for the "extended warranty" and denied again. How can Rooms To Go replace a defective product with the same defective product and expect something different? This is unfair policy and only benefits the Rooms To Go. Rooms To Go does not honor their warranty. We spent thousands of dollars on this defective furniture. This is unacceptable. Is Rooms To Go going to do anything to make this right? read more

I purchased several pieces of furniture here and this will definitely be my last. To note: I probably spent a little over 7k. I've referred at least 3 family members here as well and will make sure I let everyone know how they do business. First off, their sales reps are poorly trained and tell you the complete opposite just to get a sell so don't expect to get the truth. The store managers couldn't care less and say well what's done is done now but I guess that's why they have a rating so low. Save yourself a headache and take your money to Ashley's furniture or somewhere else that will not only take care of you now but also in the future should anything happen to your furniture cause it adds up. I waited until after I got my furniture to post a review, so that I could address the entire experience as a whole. We had a wonderful experience this past week. We went into Rooms To Go already knowing what we wanted. We saw it online and went in just to see the color choices in person, because sometimes they look different. We ended up making a totally different selection once we were there. We fell in love with a floor display setup and ended up purchasing it for a steal of a deal. The salesman, Jack, was very attentive to our presence in the store and making sure we didn't have any questions, but wasn't annoying at all and he didn't hover. He seemed to pop in and out just at the right times, which was beneficial to us. He answered all of our questions and helped us close the deal super fast. The furniture looks even better in our living room and has made it look like a completely different house! We didn't get the furniture delivered, so I can't speak for the current delivery people, but I can say that when we arrived to pick it up the next day, they had it ready for us and even loaded it all up for us into the enclosed trailer we brought to haul it in. Nothing was dirty, scuffed, or damaged, because they took care when loading it and packing it up. This isn't our first time buying from Rooms To Go. In 2010, we bought a bedroom suit that lasted longer than we needed it - we sold it and upgraded to adjustable bed frame and new mattress in 2016. We do still use the same dresser and nightstands that we purchased. In 2013, we purchased a living room suit with sectional and chair that held up great. We eventually replaced it in 2018, simply because we wanted a different look. We made the mistake of buying it from *another store* and it had already torn up in just those two years, hence why we had to buy a new one just now. Obviously, we came back to our trusty Rooms To Go because we know the quality, and know the furniture will last. We also purchased a dining room set that looks like a tall, long bar table with bench stools and barstools to match, in 2019. It's one of our favorite pieces to this day. The financing is also wonderful - 60 months with no interest. I've never had an issue with payments or anything, but I've also never paid late, so I don't know if there are repercussions if you miss a payment. Read the fine print and pay on time! read more

If Store Manager Mick Biggs is managing the Rooms to Go on Airport Blvd, I will never shop there again, and I don't encourage anyone looking to get furniture to shop there either. I recently established an account with Rooms to go as Brian Hill was our salesperson. Although Brian was rather chivalrous and accommodating, there was some areas of miscommunication that ultimately caused him to lose a sale. The miscommunication caused us to exchange several pieces of furniture because the wrong pieces were ordered & furniture being delayed significantly although they were almost promised to arrive at a specific time. Although, these issues were caught and corrected swiftly by an unknown member of management; the most significant issue were not addressed causing Rooms to go not only lose a sale, but a potential lifetime customer. One of the items I purchased from Brian was a dinette set. While closing my ticket Brian informed to my wife that the dinette set came with a floral arrangement. It was never communicated that the dinette center piece was $250 and we were being charged for the arrangement. After later realizing out that we were being charged for something we thought was gifted to us, we went back to the Rooms to Go on Airport Blvd and spoke with store manager Mr. Mick Biggs. As I was explaining to Mick that it was miscommunicated to my wife and I that we were being charged for a centerpiece that we assumed came with the dinette set as it was communicated by Brian, Mick snobbishly asked if we looked at the receipt. My wife explained to Mick that we thought it came with the set as it was communicated by Brian, and if we couldn't get a refund, we wanted to exchange it for something else, as we were prepared to open another account and get more furniture for other rooms. Mick stated that because it was over 2 weeks that it was nothing that he could do. I understand in some instances there are things that can't be undone, but the manner it was communicated was unprofessional, as Mick's dynamic body expression and condescending tone was unwarranted. Mick made it obvious that he could not return or exchange the $250 centerpiece, I decided to not open an additional account and immediately canceled the other items we had ordered which exceeded $3000. It was beyond me that a store manager would risk losing a lifetime customer for something as trivial as a miscommunication by one of his salespeople. Although I was disappointed that the centerpiece couldn't at least be exchanged, I was more surprised that store manager Mick Biggs did not care enough to even try to accommodate a customer. As I still needed furniture, I decided to go up the street to a competitor and finish the furniture shopping I needed to get done. I can't determine the outcome of Mick's professional career with Rooms to go, but his leadership reflects the low reviews in the community and on the web. As long as Mick is in charge, I will never shop Rooms to Go on Airport blvd again. read more

The installers installed one of the recliners arm rest on the wrong side! The recliners lever on the second recliners was not properly aligned we had to remove and reinstall the lever to use the unit! We paid 129,00 for this service! The installers were courteous but not very good at installation! To be safe we went and checked all the fittings and found some so sloppily loose! We double checked every screw and reinstalled several! We will never purchase anything from rooms to go! read more

I wanted to take a moment to share how wonderful it was working with Victoria Foote at Rooms To Go. Victoria was very knowledgeable, professional and sweet to work with. She encouraged me to take my time and look at all options prior to making my final decision on which bedroom set I wanted. When I explained I wanted to come back with my mother in a day or so because I value her advice she calmly said I look forward to seeing you all then and did not try to push a sale. I shared this with a friend of mine who ended up going in the store and guess who was there to greet her and help her buy the bedroom set she was looking for. That's right Mrs Victoria. I ordered my furniture and waited my two weeks. My delivery was going to be delayed because of mechanical issues on the truck. Delivery postponed a day. Things happen so no problem. The next day I was supposed to have the same delivery time but they decided to change it on their own and stated my new window will be from 0700 to 1100 however they called at 0830 the same morning to tell me my window changed. No one was home so they said window will go back 2-6 pm. Waited all evening and no delivery. Terrible delivery. Never got a call saying that they were not going to delivery it. Buy somewhere else that is more reliable on delivery. read more

If there were a zero rating, I would select that for this store. Actually, a minus 5 would be more appropriate for the aggressive, bullying response of the store manager. I went to the Rooms-To-Go store on Airport Blvd, Mobile, AL because they were the vendors for Purple Mattress in my area. I wanted to try the product before I bought. Initially they delivered the wrong size mattress and I had to wait another week. Then my experience with the product was like sleeping on the Rock of Gibraltar. Before the purchase I asked my sales person, Brian Hill, if I could return the product in accordance with Purple Mattress's advertisement if I wasn't happy with it. He said, "Absolutely." The definition of the word absolutely: With no qualification, restriction, or limitation; totally. I further queried him as to his meaning. I said, "Without any complications or restriction?" He assured me there would be none as long as I also purchased the mattress cover, which I did. I went back to the store on Jan. 15, 2022 to tell him I wanted to return the mattress. He conferred with his manager and I was told no problem. I looked at a different mattress, another brand, which he told me would be $200-$300 more. I decided that was what I would do. But then he tallied the transaction and told me it would be an additional $750.00 but no delivery fee. That is a long way from what he initially said so I decided to simply return the product. I was then told there would be a $99 "restock fee". This is the first mention of such a charge. This rubbed me the wrong way so I told him I would think about what to do. One week later, Jan. 22, 2022, I returned to the store with the intention of returning the mattress and sucking up the additional $99 charge because I had been a month without proper sleep. I was then told by the manager that I couldn't return the mattress for a refund but could only do an exchange...with a $99 restock fee. When I said this wasn't what I had been told, he basically called me a lair, leaned in aggressively and raised his voice to tell me that their company "never" did a cash refund for any product, that I could only get an exchange, that no one had ever told me otherwise, that "he" had told me that on my previous visit there could only be an exchange. This was the first time I had spoken to the manager. The salesman, Brian Hill, stood there quietly and let this man bully a 72 year old, gray haired woman. Shame on them. Shame on both of them. I will not give them an additional $750 dollars. I will see what my credit card company can do but if I have to I will eat the $2,138 price of this mattress and donate it to charity. I'll do that before I let them see another penny of my money. Of course, this is their goal anyway. But I shall write to the corporate headquarters and Purple Mattress. Unfortunately, I failed to get the manager's name but surely someone in the upper echelons of the company will be able to figure that out. read more

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I purchased a dual recliner loveseat for my bedroom. This product (or what should have been this product) was delivered in October 2021. I called to have it replaced with something different because it just was not what I wanted and they agreed. It took 2 months to get the replacement in December 2021. This replacement came to me with a bent frame so I called to have it repaired. It took until early this month for the repair man to come and he said he would have to order a part and come back in a couple of weeks. So, I called on the 21st to see what was going on and they had not yet made a decision on how to proceed...WHAT?....then I get a call back to tell me it will be replaced. The replacement will be delivered in late April. WTH. I will NEVER order or purchase from this terrible company again and do not recommend them to anyone unless you want to be greatly disappointed. In all of my conversations with their customer service I found them to be rude and VERY unprofessional. read more

My mother and father in law had a very stressful experience at this store as they tried to exchange out some furniture that ended up not working out with their physical issues. They were not allowed to pick out anything except what was actually on the floor...they could not get a credit or order anything otherwise so that in itself left them limited to choices. Fast forward....once they picked out what they could they still had some money left to spend (and after being in the store working all of this out for about 4 hrs and they are in their 80's) ) my M.I.L asked my husband and I if there was anything we needed to make up that difference of money left over from the total so we picked out a rug from the limited choices in the store by looking online because we live out of town from them. Everything is very expensive in the store so trying to find something in the reasonable range and amount we were working with was difficult. The sales person suggested a cooling mattress cover to finish out the amount left which was about $300. We thought that would be good because we are both hot natured so that would be a good choice. When we got it we only slept on it a couple of nights and it worked opposite of cooling. It actually held in heat and felt warm and uncomfortable and we did not get a good nights sleep those 2 nights. I ended up checking reviews on it and many others had the same experience with the mattress cover so normally I would have checked that out first but in this case I didn't have time because I was having to make decisions on the phone with the sales person while I was looking online. I called C.J. the salesman at Rooms To Go and he couldn't help and told me they do not allow returns on it so I asked to speak with manager MICK BIGGS.....BIG MISTAKE!!! Very condescending sarcastic human being. I just wanted to return it for anything that might be of use so my in laws $$ did not go to waste. I tried to explain that even Target and Amazon sells this same item at the same price and there wouldn't have been an issue in returning with them because they care about the customer being happy with their service. ....he could have cared LESS! HIs behavior is unacceptable! I have read of others that have dealt with his terrible customer service. He has certainly lost customers through this and I hope Rooms To Go somehow sees the demise in their business with his treatment of their customers and his neglect and lack of caring for their customers. My in laws and my husband and I all tried to report to them and remedy these issues within days of receiving them so there should not have been a problem. This is not how it should be. People should not be stuck with products they are not happy with. I would NOT recommend this store in Mobile . Save yourself the frustration. read more

I have just experience the WORSE customer service experience at the Mobile store. After purchasing a sectional and worked with a very nice sales person. I decided the next day to call about the delivery date. The date was much longer than what was told during the sale. I was told to call the store the next day and speak with a manager. I call at 10 am and was told the manager was on the phone and he would be given a message and would return my call. No call back. I called again and spoke with a sales associate who said that the manager was not in the building or at work that day. He asked me how could he help. I explained the situation and stated unless I could get an earlier delivery - I would have to cancel my sale. His response was "Ok" - I'll tell the manager to cancel the sale. I asked for his name. His response was "I have told you my name three times already". I AGAIN asked for his name - He responded "I don't know why you can't remember my name". I was LIVID!!! He finally told me his name and I ended the conversation. I called later that day, after finding another sectional, to cancel my order. The manager answered the phone and asked me to hold. I held for 15 minutes. A sales associate picked up the phone and simply stated "Hello, Ms. L. your order is cancel. Thank you and goodbye". NEVER will I ever purchase from them again. DONE! I just experience extremely bad customer service from one of your stores in Mobile Alabama located on Airport Boulevard. I spoke with your manager of the store Neil who let $1000 walk out the door because he didn't want to sell the bunkbed that I wanted to buy and take home the same day because he said he did not have a something else to fill the spot. The item was for sale as is and to be taken home by the customer. I called corporate who advised me that he would not get in trouble for letting someone buy something off the floor that day but the manager Neil consistently said that he would get in huge trouble due to corporate. Corporate also advised that this is a very bad representation of their company and will report this matter up and as a customer should not have been treated this way. This is very bad customer service and it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be back to your store if this is how I will be treated as a customer and denied to buy furniture off your floor and I will also not be recommending your company to any of my friends or family. This was the first time and the last time I will ever shop at your store I do hope that you do not treat all your customers like this nationwide. I have never been to a retail store where they sell merchandise and told by the manager that I can't buy the item that is currently for sale. read more
