I'm not going to slam them but this was not a great experience so I wanted to share. 5 months into this roof the first storm (not a hurricane) the roof failed and we lost a ton of shingles. It was only a 5 month old roof. I told my builder who gave me the number of the owner. The owner came over and replaced them but I HAD TO PAY FOR THE 10 SHINGLES, he billed me! Wow. BUT HE gave me free labor. I want to note that my next door neighbor with a 20 year old roof lost zero shingles. Really, a roof failed that early? Fast forward 2 years. A hurricane that hit the west side of florida, Milton , not even a direct hit happened. We lost shingles on all 4 sides of the roof. No other neighbors lost them like we did. Again, this roof is supposedly only 3 years old. Everyone on my street was shocked. I did point it out to the builder who supposedly had us on a 10 year warranty. My builder said we were SOL and texted me DDRS number. I just decided to cut my losses and pay out of pocket for a metal roof in 2025

We evaluated all bids, and went with EZ Roofing as they use the best quality shingles and the bidder (Grant) seemed very straightforward with us about what was needed (new impact-resistant skylights as well). He also provided guidance (when asked) on a good color for the shingles based on our brick and outside paint color, and he was spot on! The roofers started early each day and did excellent work, finishing the job in a little over 2 days. Our neighbors all commented on how nice the house looks with the new roof and one of the neighbors plans to contact EZ Roofing because of it. I highly recommend them and would hire them again. Then he called 7:55am saying he would be 15 mins late. Then he was late after that too. He says he's "all about integrity" but then can't manage to be on time. He said my roof could use some re-sealing in places. He said it would be about $500. When I got the written re-sealing estimate it was 40% higher $841.75 Clearly they do not know their own business. BTW, I never got it my roof replacement estimate. RedFox seems only interested in immediately billable work. I got texts from them asking "do i have any questions". I sent email to the owner and the tech. I never heard back from either. It's all BS. NOTE: I gave RedFox management every opportunity to respond privately before writing this review. This is precisely the kind of company to STAY AWAY from. They only care about MONEY.

I had Hunter come by and spoke to him and I looked up the reviews and I felt comfortable paying a $23,000 deposit. The permits for the HOA and the Orange County came in very fast and they literally scheduled us within two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the crew. They showed up every morning at 6:30 in the morning and they left at 7:30 at night and it took about two weeks. I had a major concern with the open-ended nature of the contract regarding extras, but we were able to work it out in a very nice fashion with compromising respect. After they were finished the Orange County roofing inspector came and borrowed my ladder to go up on the roof and said it's the best roof he's ever seen. I have been through several heavy downpour and so far no leaks so I figure it's good for many years. A couple of things needed to be finished up and they came back and finished everything up with a very professional fashion. I was so pleased. I fed them every day. I would highly recommend this company. Hunter and Jim answered all my questions in a very timely fashion both before during and after which is a big deal to me. Mike came to the house and assessed some issues I was having with leaking skylights. He gave me a quote and had his crew out the very next afternoon. After I was notified they were there, I thought I'd swing by to see how things were progressing. It had been maybe 45 minutes from the time I got the call. To my surprise there was no one there and no sign that anyone had been there. In less than 45 minutes, they had repaired 3 skylights, cleaned up, and also taken the time to fix a bad repair by another roofing company. When I say they cleaned up, there was not a single nail or piece of scrap to be seen anywhere. I later learned that Mike's standard practice is to have his crew use magnets to clear the area of nails. You'd think everyone would be doing this. Oh and the skylights look great too.
