Imagine that! The owner came out and saw my project. A wealth of information and experience. Here's the thing you get the feeling of honesty. Someone in an industry plagued with bad actors this company shines through as honest and fair. Laura in sales made everything easy with no hassle. I recommend this local company! read more

Our twenty-year-old roof had taken all it could from Florida sun, hurricanes, and wind.  As it was clearly maintenance, the roof would be paid for by my wife and me.  Yes, I also looked at dozens of roofing company reviews including worksites in my area to see for myself how the work crews were and even how long it took to complete the job. When the time came to make the decision, R&K Certified Roofing came out on top.  Should you choose R&K as we did, you will have struck gold.  The owner, Mr. Ken Reed was amazing  with his time, kindness, and especially integrity he gave to us.  Mr. Reed was there each day to ensure the job was being done correctly and also to see if we had any concerns.  (Of course we were very happy.) A gentleman named "Doc" and the highly trained crew were extremely professional, kind, and very hard-working and we hope they enjoyed the cookies, brownies, and popsicles my wife gave to them each day. We cannot thank Mr. Ken Reed enough for all his kindness, caring, and again, integrity.  If you are in need of replacing your roof with the best of the best, call R&K Certified Roofing.  You'll be glad you did. read more

R & K Certified Roofing - New Roof - Roofing Near Me - Bunnell, Florida

Over the years I have relied on R&K more than once for my roof, and they have always shown up immediately and taken care of my issue easily and affordably. Last year I had damage from Milton that took almost a year to get taken care of due to my evil insurance company. Throughout the entire process, even when another leak came in from a summer storm, R&K were there for me. I've finally completed the insurance fight and my house is whole again, thanks to R&K! And the best part, other than my beautiful new roof and repaired siding, is that I was treated like family. They empathized with my horrible situation and went out of their way to work with me and my public adjuster. I would literally NEVER consider another company as long as I own a house in this town. These days, it's very hard to find a company that still cares about the person in the business deal. But, it's something this company does without blinking twice. Thank you again, R&K! read more

Why do roofing companies fail? Poor Customer Satisfaction. Right at the top of the list of why the roofing industry has such a bad reputation is that many customers are just simply not satisfied. Many roofing contractors treat their customers poorly, in addition to not completing the work to the homeowner's satisfaction. But the trust completely vanishes when you can't even get the roofer to come out and fix the problem they caused. While I want to say you can't put every roofer under the same umbrella, this happens way too often for me to argue. Just know that mistakes do happen on roofing projects. But as long as a roofer is willing to stand behind their work and take care of the problem, you made the right hiring choice The worstR&K roofer in Flagler CO read more

I chose R&K to do my roof replacement after doing much research and I am glad I did. If I could give 10 stars I would. The entire R & K team encountered were extremely professional. I was able/encouraged to ask questions at anytime during the process which were answered honestly & in a timely manner. I was kept up to date throughout the roof replacement with what to expect and the work area was kept tidy. Excellence. The R&K team is #1. R&K made me feel valued as a customer. Austin who was with me from start to finish was excellent. He made the process anxiety free by being in constant communication with me. Don & Trent were also outstanding. If you need roof replacement do not hesitate to use R&K. You will not be disappointed. read more

Got several roofers to come to compete an estimate and theirs was one of the highest amounts. Every other company provided a contract with the items broken down.... I just received a email with very little detail and a price from them read more

I SAID GOOD MORNING TO THEIR WORKER AND WAS CALLED A RACIST!@!!!!!! After the 3rd time R&K failed their first inspection, the roofer showed up and I opened the front door to say good morning and let me know if you need anything. The next thing I know, their boss called me to tell me that I yelled at his worker and was making racist remarks but admitted that the worker didn't speak English. For each of the FOUR times they had been to work on the roof, we all had pleasant exchanges and no one, NO ONE, made such accusations. This is R&Ks way of telling the world that I am a racist so no one should listen to the negative reviews I am going to write? I said good morning and let me know if you need anything. The same exact words I used to all the other workers on all the other days. NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY - read more

Recently had my old roof replaced by R&K Roofing. The entire process from start to finish was simple and easy. They beat all the competitors estimates! They started on time, did exactly what they said they would do and finished when they expected. I would highly recommend them for all your roofing needs. The process from start to finish was excellent, the crew that did the work and the office staff were terrific. I give them 5 stars! read more

Edit to add: The owner responded on here but will not return our calls to the office. We 100% used this company from Flagler and have the invoice to prove that we are customers. We are still out $1900 for a job halfway done. Had R&K roofing come out to fix a hole that went from our roof into the attic to block critters from getting in. They came out right away and installed some type of box to stop the critters from getting in. As it's in a spot that we can't see without climbing on the roof ourselves, we trusted them and paid them $1900. When our critter guy came back out he showed us that they had only blocked half of the hole and we were still getting critters as big as possums coming in and out of the attic. R&K roofing came back out and shoved some mesh in the hole which does nothing to stop the critters and the guy that came out told us just to put black pepper in the attic and we will be fine. We ended up having to hire a different roofing company and pay them to do the job properly. We reached out to David at R&K roofing to discuss getting some of the $1900 back because the agreed upon job was not done properly and are unable to get any response. Don't waste your time and money with this shady company! read more

R&K did an outstanding job on our roof. We received rave reviews from our neighbors on color & construction. They were very efficient & cleaned up quickly after construction. Have recommended them to others looking for a new roof. read more

So, they tried to take me to court as they thought they could bully me into an extra $5300.00 for their mistake. We get to court, as I would not back down from these bullies, and their Lawyer asks if we can just shake hands and walk away. Really? Well, the suit they filed was so badly written and wrought with errors that there was no doubt they would lose in front of a judge. In fact the paperwork showed that they owed me over 600.00. They used the back of a contract that wasn't the one I signed as evidence to support their suit. Lied completely and wholly in their assertions against me. They got caught in their own bait and switch as I called them out on it. Beat my lowest estimate by 5k, inspected my roof and said it was a single layer of shingles to rip off. Then when work started they "found" a second layer and wanted another 5K. Bait and switch by definition. Lastly, after we agreed to just walk away they wanted me to take down my review as if nothing ever happened. Told them emphatically "NO". I write this as we just had hurricane Milton and don't want to see anyone get ripped off. You can see the entire first review here also. read more

Ours has been a terrible experience. We had a roof leak, we were told someone would come out and go into the attic to determine where it was leaking. A Mike showed up and started working on our skylight. Leaked even worse after 2 attempts. A new guy comes out and totally removes the sky light and reinstalls it. Had to have ceiling replaced due to water damage. In the end when the ceiling was taken out the actual leak was discovered in a different place. A PVC pipe that went through the roof with no cap on it. We could see daylight through the pipe. After waiting a week for Mike to show for his appointment that he set, we called and he said, "oh, didn't they call you? Not under warranty. A salesman is supposed to get ahold of you." Now we still have a leak and R&K say's its not their problem. As usual, David (GM) is not available to discuss. Leaves it to his phone operator to deal with who of course can cot resolve the issues. All he can do is take messages. read more

Horrible experience. Jaime convinced us to go though Insurance company stating that they would negotiate with them but they did nothing of the sort. 5 months into the process, they sent me an attorney proposal for me to hire and fight with the Insurance company (which I refused to sign) even though they said they would be doing that on my behalf. Even though they repeatedly told me that it was illegal for the Insurance company to cancel my policy during a claim, the Insurance company cancelled my policy anyway. After 5 months of absolute BS from RK Roofing, I went with another company. Even met with the General Manager to resolve this matter, and to add insult to injury they sent me a $20,125 "discounted price" from the original $24,079 they sent to the Insurance company. I WOULD VERY MUCH SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS COMPANY! read more

Reached out for help with insulation in my roof (only part and was a very small amount of work). They very kindly informed me who I needed to talk to and what to expect when getting the job done. I appreciate them taking the time to educate me and ultimately pointing me in a better direction than where I started! Thanks so much guys, when time comes for a repair, they will get my business for sure! read more

The worst roofer in Flagler Co. Had a roof replaced and have had constant leaks. The office is rude and doesn't return calls. Contacted the owner, Ken Reid and he was nasty. He said there must be something wrong with the house, because they couldn't stop the leaks. I am thinking about taking them to court. Stay away from this from this disreputable company. read more

Run from this company! They DO NOT stand behind their work! Great lip service but horrible customer service. After contacting them for warranty work for $2,900 repair, they wanted another $2K for further repairs in the area they previously worked. My complaints fell on deaf ears. Paid another reputable company half their quote to fix their shoddy work. read more

R&K Roofing talked me into going thru my insurance company for reimbursement for a new roof. The bid I got from them was $13,000.. the estimate they sent my insurance company was $26,000!!! I signed a form which I was told allowed R&K to "negotiate" with the ins. co on my behalf. My insurance co. wouldn't pay the $26k or even negotiate so R&K SUED them!!! I informed R&K I wouldn't use them even if they won the suit & asked them to just drop the whole thing...it was a small job..why would they go thru all of this...They wouldn't drop it and ONE YEAR later they lost the suit & I could finally have a roof put on by Florida's Best Roofing.... If you chose to use R&K and they suggest you go thru your insurance co....before you sign anything insist on seeing what bid they are sending in and compare it to what you were given...or, better yet, just choose another company! R&K is not honest. read more

Buyer beware!!! The abosute worst experience of my entire life. RK installed a new roof in November of 2017. Never a single English speaking representative ever on my property during install, not even a Forman. They even came the wrong week! RK workers then damaged my home while installing new roof. Repairs were not completed untul June of 2018. Delay after delay, lies, Incompetence, deceit and poor workmanship. They even filed a fraudulent lean against my property. Then after taking them to arbitration and winning -- they failed to comply with arbiters decision and then filed 3 fraudulent lean releases. Beware of the yard sign and referral price rip off scam. It's an inflated price over and above the competitive price where they promise you a discount if you get them referrals plus you must put sign on your property. No problem if they deserved to be referred! However ... if by chance they provide poor quality service (as in my case) they still expect you to refer people to them or they won't honor yard sign rip off price. (Unless you take them to court and win as I did). There is no responsibility on their part to provide referable quality services. Careful!! It took 1 year of litigation with RK to for them make me whole .... but the time, the cost, the frustration and the incompetence was unconscionable and at times difficult to bear. Beware!! Beware !!! Beware!!!!!!! read more

We contacted R&K Roofing for an estimate on a new roof. The sales representative, Jamie, provided us with an estimate the same day. Jamie was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and was not pushy. R&K completed our roof as scheduled. The roofers damaged a section of the fascia and smudged the wall. The company repaired the damage to our satisfaction! Totally satisfied with the work. read more

Very unhappy customer here. Took them 8 months to do the job. The first crew sent to work on the roof took 5 days and did nothing more than cause major damage. They took the dumpster away on day 2 and then proceeded to just toss the debris into my side yard, nails and all. Did not clean up very well. Had to clean up my yard by myself. The second crew had to re-do all of the work from the first crew. They were done in 1 day. My new roof started to leak in less than 1 month. I now have ceiling damage that was not there before. They will not return phone calls and will not communicate with me. Management blamed all the problems on the original salesman who has since been fired. They have not yet delivered on any promise. read more

Don`t walk away from this company-RUN.I needed a complete re roof of stone tiles and was told the job would take 7-8 days.It took 8 months and 3 failed inspections and 4 different work crews.RK hired, uncertified unqualified, unskilled people to do a horrible job.Three time the roof was replaced before they got it close to right. They also ruined my lawn ,front and back, damaged rain gutters, tore screening, etc.etc to the sum of $9,553 in damages. An arbitrator for the BBB in Jacksonville Fl.awarded me the FULL sum for damages in November 2018.But this job was a nightmare from the beginning, save yourself and go somewhere, anywhere else. read more
