I doubt you'll find a more professional and friendly roofer in Miami. The Dreamland team were…read moresuggested through Yelp to assess a persistent set of leaks in our '49 house. They were extremely courteous and punctual and wasted no time diagnosing the trouble areas. They were also the definition of thorough and prepared, even showing up with a Google maps aerial view of the house to mark and show areas to address. Although the focus was the leak, I had other questions and they were more than happy to show future areas to address if I wanted to. The actual repair went well, with again, being punctual (a Miami rarity) and taking care of the issue, including sourcing tiles that would fit and match the houses older style. In short, I couldn't recommend these guys enough and they are number 1 for our future roofing needs. Great service, great customer care, and a great price.

They are extremely professional. When they say they will come at a certain time, they do come at that time. They are men of their word. This company inspires confidence. They were very straightforward, and they always kept me informed about any updates via text and email. They also presented me with all the necessary paperwork for my homeowners insurance in a very professional manner. They even helped me with a referral for a company to fix my water heater. I plan to call them always for any future roof maintenance or repairs.

He finally showed up after six requests, offering a pathetic $1,000 refund, claiming there were fees for canceling--a job he never started. I was dealing with a family tragedy at the time and chose not to waste more time fighting for the rest of my money. This thief left me with a leaking roof, which I had to replace in 2023 with a reputable company. Avoid this scam artist at all costs.

I'll list the highlights of the project here in the interest of time:…read more * Met with Daniel initially after a major roof leak. He came out quickly and assessed the problem, providing me with a quote to replace the roof. Contract was signed in July 2023, with work to start in a few weeks after deposit was paid and material were purchased. * August: A gutter installed less than 90 days before DND started working needed to be removed. This wasn't a problem as I figured that was going to be the case. The actual problem was that his team pulled down the gutter without taking due care and they completely destroyed my new gutter. With a little bit of care, it could've been removed so that it could be reused and not destroyed in the process. He agreed and offered a $200 credit off the total so I could get another gutter. * September: Work became more and more delayed, with the team showing up unannounced after days of not being there. Sometimes he'd tell me to expect them a certain day/time only to not have them show up without a call. * October: Between delays out of DND's control and others that were under their control and the roof still wasn't done. Worse still, the leaks were still coming in fast and furious when it would rain. Daniel blamed it on the AC unit. Saying the covering used by the AC company was bad and coming apart. * The AC company found the 1-year-old housing was loose, so they fixed it. But the leaks didn't stop. Within weeks, in fact, they got much worse. To the point that the ceiling above my kitchen began to take on so much water that the drywall buckled, leading to a 4x5 foot piece of drywall that came down. * November: Blaming the AC people again, this time Daniel showed me pictures that the enclosure was pulled up and bent, causing water to enter the unit and shoot straight down into the kitchen area causing the damage. The AC company had pictures of their previous work which I compared to its current state which looked suspiciously like someone pulled up and bent the side of the enclosure forcefully to gain access to the roofing area under the unit's enclosure. Plus, there was fresh tar there which means that it was damaged by the DND crew performing roofing work. Since they failed to ask me if this was ok, I was charged $1,200 to replace the damaged enclosure due to DND's negligence. After bringing it and my dissatisfaction to Daniel, he said he would fix the damage to the kitchen for free when the project was done. * December: eaks are still happening. The kitchen still has a huge hole in it. And the inspection is delayed because DND has moved on to other work, despite the roof still not being finished. It's been 5 months since we signed the contract. * January 2024: Daniel found the hole in the roof! They fix it and apply a coat of sealant to the roof to protect it. Also, in order to pass the inspection, the AC unit needs a drain line installed. Daniel says he can make one for $150, and I agree. * The inspection is passed! Except, there are still leaks. Plus, the drain line was installed flat (not elevated) and drains acidic water into my patio's tarp, which drips onto the patio, causing algae to form on the form and creating a slip hazard. When asked about it, Daniel responds, "I'm not an AC guy. I don't know what I was doing." But you charged $150 more for a job that you said you could do when you couldn't do it?! * February: After performing a water test, he claims the leak is coming from the AC. "But I thought you found the source of the leak?", I asked. He continues the test and finds it's coming from the walls upstairs. "Your exterior walls have holes and the water is leaking from there.", Daniel claims now. "I'll come back in a few days or next Monday to patch the holes." It's been 2 weeks and I haven't seen or heard from Daniel. When I finally get a hold of him, he says, "Sorry, but I have 3 houses that we're working on their roof and they're new construction so I need to finish those fast because I can't leave the roof..." I cut him off, "You can't leave the roof leaking, is that it? But I hired you to fix the leaks and replace my roof 7 months ago and the 4-5 day job you quoted is still not done and still leaking." By this point, I was done waiting for DND so someone else was brought in to do the job correctly. My kitchen still has a huge hole in the ceiling and the new gutter was reinstalled. Both items that Daniel promised to correct but never did. He also stopped responding to my calls or texts...but at least my new roof doesn't leak anymore.
