During visit went from fascia/soffit, gutter repair to adding a small section of roof repair. After consultation with his "Operation Head" we went to FULL roof replacement, gutters, soffit/fascia and a $18,000 dollar price tag. I inquired if we could just do the immediate repairs of fascia/soffit and gutters. Again after speaking to the "Operation Head" we were told no. We either had to do it all or nothing from this company. So advertisement of them doing REPAIR is false they will say the cant guarantee their work unless they do everything. So if you call them be prepared to be bamboozled and expect a crazy high price.

We followed their recommendation, worked with a plumber, and then had DLV make some other small fixes they'd recommended. When they came out for the repairs, they went above and beyond by painting the white pipe the plumber put in to make it blend with the roof more. They didn't charge extra for that, they just took the initiative. Also had a great experience with the scheduling staff. Katherine was even able to coordinate with us to have the team come sooner when there was a cancellation.

The first crew turns out to be subcontracted (even though DLV's salesman emphatically stated they don't subcontract), it was this crew who refused to install the hip shingles because the color clashed so badly. After waiting six weeks for the correct hip shingles to arrive through the hail and storms of April they then send a second subcontracted crew. Of course the second crew neglects to trim back the material at the ridge vents creating complete blockage, I bring this to DLV's attention and they argue with me, I say I'm bringing in an engineer, and they say let's have a certainteed inspector look at it for my 5-star warranty, of course the inspector sides with me. Stay away, far, far, away. This Asheville, NC DLV organization, sucks, plain and simple. I would have been better off with a storm chaser, stay far, far away. James, are you listening?

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Called based on personal review from a personal friend. As others have noted. The cleanup was bad. I had to go out and purchase a rolling magnet to pickup the nails all over the yard, sidewalks and driveways. After the first sweep in just a small area I picked up almost 100 nails. After doing the yard and areas surrounding the house, about another 100 nails. During the second sweep about 50 nails. I kept finding them in driveway. After going on the roof, I found about 30 nails just sitting on the roof. Sloppy. I am still finding nails. I have been told that the company changed hands to the Son at some point, seems the service did not follow. There was one tricky area that was supposed to be done, but after showing up, they said they could not do it. Another roofer looked at it to finish the area and said this company could have done it, but choose to make an excuse. During the reroof they had to come out several time to stop roof from leaking in house. Service after the reroof was not what as expected. Will not recommend. Will note, the roof itself seems to be good work. After 6 months, attempted to contact them again about some questionable flashing identified by several other contractors, to see is I can get some spare shingles, and to verify the exact color since they did not leave any information and would not provide it from earlier requests. Actually talked with someone at company, and again would not provide any service after the Initial purchase. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
