The suit that I purchased online needed tapering and shortening from the sleeves on the jacket and also the trousers. I had a feeling it will take longer than a week but tried my luck to get it done within the week if I paid extra. My friend recommended Well Fit Tailors, so I walked in and was greeted in a very polite and professional way by owner Mr. B Sonigra, I asked how long it will take to get my suit altered and he replied 10 days, I explained I needed to get the suit altered and completed within 6 days latest, I even offered an extra £20 as an express service - He agreed to get the garments ready by then shook my hand AND ALSO refused to take the £20, he deserves these 5 stars and I would 100% recommend him. A bottle of wine is on the way for you sir.

All the shelves fully stacked, with testers on the side so you don't have to bug the staff to try them any more! Hooray. There are some bargains to be had, but to be honest most of it's rubbish in a fancy pot lol. The staff however are extremely helpful. If your looking for unusual smelling products to pamper yourself, or even a present then I would highly recommend this store.

The window display is always enticing and I can never resist popping in for a browse if I'm walking past. As you walk in, there are a couple of rails of clothing, with a good but small handpicked range of dresses, tops, sweaters, blouses, skirts and trousers as well as some shoes dotted here and there and accessories such as belts and handbags. Mainly catering for ladies in their early teens to early thirties, the clothes are usually from lesser known brands rather than designer but are in the latest fresh, vibrant and trendy fashions and very reasonably priced too! I picked up a gorgeous summer dress from there last summer for just £25 and then spotted Kelly Brook wearing the same dress on TV just weeks later! Making use of every available space, the small back room has more rails of clothes, basic curtained-off fitting rooms and an area for more accessories and toiletries from brands such as Burts Bees. The two ladies that run the boutique are very friendly and on hand to help and offer advice if needed. While small, I think the boutique offers a great clothes shopping experience and fills the gap that Market Harborough previously had for affordable fashion for the younger female.

Having supported this business during lockdown by making purchases online, I was finally able to pay a visit to the shop having seen a couple of things I was interested in purchasing. Unfortunately, they didn't have the size I wanted, but the sales assistant offered the next size up - I said that I would need to take them home to try & I made my purchases. A week later I went to return my purchase as they unfortunately didn't fit, which is when I discovered that their policy is only to offer exchanges or credit notes - NO REFUNDS. I am disappointed that this wasn't made clear at the time of purchase. I clearly said that I would need to take the item home to try given that it wasn't in the size I really needed - if the sales assistant had said at that point 'are you aware of our returns policy?' - misunderstandings could have been avoided. There is a ridiculously small sign, partially obscured, resting on top of the radiator in the shop that details the returns policy for items purchased in the shop - annoyingly if I had purchased online, I was told that I could have returned the items no problem - go figure! The sign is not possible to read from the till point and should be at least as big as the sign advising you of the limits for card payments etc. I really wanted to support the local high street, but I'm afraid this has left a bit of a bitter taste & I won't be returning.

They sold mainly clothes and accessories aimed towards the gothic style. With this the counter sold many earrings, and other metal peircings with different coloured ends and styles. They also sold loads of bracelets and some clothes and backpacks towards the rear of the shop. These were mainly black in colour and had band names printed on them, or other insignia. The staff in here were always helpful and would do anything to sort you out if needed. The reason for talking in the past tense about this shop is because it unfortunately no longer exists. This is a shame because it was cheap and was always busy. However the introduction of blue banana may well have affected Rowfers rein and by the looks of it put them out of business.
