My husband took him and he butchered my sons hair line up was clearly not even scissor you can see where he cut it just looked like total crap, I wanted a little boys comb over didn't even get close to that. When they got home I was so mad that my husband paid $40 for a crap cut and didn't say anything but he's too nice and felt bad so he didn't want to say anything. I tried messaging on FB but never got a response back, then the next day I even noticed my husbands hair cut wasn't any good neither so I was still mad now that he wasted $80 didn't say anything and I had to send my son to back to school with a jacked up hair cut. Pictures can't justify how bad it actually looked in person. Either the shop was recommended or we just walked in; regardless my son is happy with his barber. The shop is located right off IL 159 and Ashland in the shopping center (same side as the car wash). They have 5-7 barbers and a few beauticians. This review is mainly about the barbers, I've never used their beautician services. I normally don't seat and wait for my son to get his hair cut but when I do it's not a bad experience. It can be a long wait depending on the day and time. I try not to go on a weekend day (Friday-Saturday). Between the television and/or the barber shop conversation, it makes the time go by. They do accept appointments ($5 extra) but most of their clientele are walk ins. Unlike other barber shops; they're open on Sunday's. Best to go in and find the right barber for you and your needs. Everyone has a different technic. At the end of the day... As long as we're staying in the area, we will definitely go back.
