Since they only accept cash or check, we had little leverage to get a refund. Essentially, this is a very "old school" man working with a younger technician who actually does the work. George S. can be gruff, grumpy, forgetful and can't be bothered with this new-fangled "customer service" stuff. We will no longer work with vendors who do not accept debit or credit cards. He came out to look at my dryer and after getting the dryer vent cleaned out determined it could be a kinked dryer hose. I already paid the initial $125 fee to have them come out and now they are trying to charge $180 to move a dryer hose. The guy was here for less than an hour, it's ludacris that they are trying to charge this much. I tried to talk to their customer service rep and he was rude and kept cutting me off during our conversation. What a terrible way to treat customers.

He did tell me that my transmission was real loud and when it went out not to spend the $$ to fix it and just replace the cheap Frigidaire model the builder put in. I certainly appreciated his honesty. He only charged for the service visit and little labor and even took the $20 senior discount off. I'll definitely use them again.
