The hold was not released immediately, and I experienced lingering throat discomfort afterward. My concern is safety and respecting taps in training. I left the gym because I felt unsafe, and I encourage anyone training here to make sure the instructors and training partners prioritize immediate release on taps and maintain a safe environment.
