Terrible experience which I was saddened by. I was already having such a hard day and wanted to get…read moreout and get my mind off things. I love little local places that sell fresh fruit and veggies and cooking always makes me feel better. I got there and was pretty excited because it was my first time there. I started walking around admiring everything, and then that's when I see a phone just laying with the tomato's. I ask the man infront of me "excuse me is this your phone?" He kindly tells me no, so I say "ok I'll just take it up to the register area for whenever someone comes back for it". As I'm walking up with my hand held out to put the phone in the register area a big guy breaking down boxes shouts "hey that's my phone" with an extremely rude tone making me feel like I was stealing it. I tell him that's my mistake I was only turning it for what I believed was a customer who lost it. I didn't realize he was actually a worker there and he grabs it from me super irritated and starts mumbling super rude little comments to again make me feel like I was stealing or inconveniencing him. I was super humiliated and walked out without buying anything because like what even is that kind of behavior especially from someone who works there? You clearly seen me setting it on the register and still felt the need to make me feel gross especially with my child right there and others around. It's not hard to be kind and whoever you are please try working on that because it can really ruin someone's whole day when you have no idea what they are going through. I did post this same review on google as well because I hope he somehow sees this and realizes how terrible he made someone feel.

Can't imagine how the girls make it 8 to 10 hours a day in that heat one would think they would at least wear shorts to stay cooler. We have been to other fruit stands in hotter areas that use a misting system to keep the interior at least 10 to 20° cooler without any moisture or water on the floor. Speaking for ourselves, we would spend more time shopping if the temperatures were more pleasant don't need AC, but just something to kind of break the temperature a bit. A high pressure misting system would keep the employees more comfortable and the shoppers and results. They'd probably spend more money. Next time we go, we're gonna buy the girls shorts so I can keep cool.

We decided to try Oakdale farmer's market, nice but few produce stands and small variety to choose from. Mostly stuff for families with children activities, which is a good thing but we are retired seniors. So we checked out Modesto farmer's market the following weekend and viola, this is what we were looking for. Plenty of choices and quite a nice variety. Also, we spent the same amount of money and got triple the produce etc. We will stick with the Modesto farmer's market. Thank you for having a nice place to shop for good food

I now go straight to Rodin's market whenever I'm in town, which is about every other week; my parents are 90 so I am in Modesto often helping them out. All freshly grown and picked daily from the farms close by. Their fruit is a big treat for my parents.

There's plenty of parking there. We arrived around 8:15am, and we were abit disappointment in the trees as most of the blossoms have fallen off. We walked further down into the farm, and then we found some of the trees still have some blossoms. It looked like snow covered because of the fallen flower petals. We had a lovely time taking pictures and little videos. Because of the time restraint, we didn't visit the farm stand. I would definitely visit the next time I go. It's free to visit. I definitely recommend going to the Secret Garden afterwards for a lovely brunch/lunch/or dinner. That's what we did. :) Also, I think it would have been better to go visit in mid/late February because the trees would have more of the blossoms.
