I have taken two classes with her and tried several other instructors as well and I've learned a lot from seeing varying technique, instruction type, and styles. This was my…read morefirst class I have taken at this studio and although other class members all knew each other, I found everyone to be extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The class instructor was very knowledgeable and always available to answer questions, gave insightful demos, and helped class members when stuck on a project. Each class features a demonstration on a new skill plus time for questions, and time to practice the skill. Open studio time each weekend can be used to practice and to create anything you'd like to make. I have enjoyed it so much, I've already signed up for a hand building class next session. Prices here are equivalent to other pottery studios in Central Ohio, but this studio has more of a community feel than other for-profit entities.

I sent my four-year-old and six-year-old here for a year. They continuously came home with bite marks and scratch marks from other four-year-olds. When I confronted the daycare director about the abuse my children were suffering, I was told that they have never kicked out a child for poor behavior, and if I didn't like it I could find alternative options. I will be looking into reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as contacting whoever licensed them. My son went to help another child clean up a mess that she had made and got bit on the face. Other times random children have struck out against him for no reason. The teachers there are just as frustrated as I am, and they tell me that my son is a sweetheart. Unfortunately that means he's targeted by other children because he won't strike them back. Feel free to send your kids here, if you want them to come home bleeding and scared.
