During the same phone call, I specifically asked the receptionist to confirm that both my wife and I were still scheduled for 10:00 AM on June 27, because I wanted to make sure we weren't accidentally booked on different dates. The receptionist clearly confirmed that both appointments were at 10:00 AM. However, when we arrived today, I was called in for my cleaning first. After I finished, I noticed my wife was still sitting in the waiting room. When I asked why she hadn't been called, the front desk told us that she wasn't scheduled for today at all and that her appointment was supposedly next month. We were completely confused because we showed them the appointment confirmation text message, which clearly stated June 27 at 10:00 AM. Even after seeing the confirmation, the receptionist simply said they didn't know why it happened. This is extremely unprofessional. It appears that this office changed my wife's appointment without notifying us. This isn't even the first time they've tried to change our appointment--they had previously called asking to reschedule, but we declined. Somehow, despite that, they still ended up separating our appointments without our knowledge. We planned our schedules around these appointments and booked them six months in advance, only to have one of them changed without any notice. This shows a serious lack of organization and respect for patients' time. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dental office.

The initial consultation was very thorough and I was able to meet what would become my care team. Seeing the CT scan, we all felt it best to pull the remaining teeth, deal with any infections, get bone graphs, and full upper and lower implants. I felt absolutely no pressure to go with any specific option (3 were available). At that same visit, I arranged financing, chose my teeth color and scheduled surgery for three weeks out. Due to increasing pain levels I requested that surgery be moved up a week and they were able to accommodate me. Day of surgery I was very nervous and they took the time to ensure I was ok before starting. Went out like a light from the anesthesia and woke up pleasantly numb. I was taken to a recovery room where I promptly fell asleep once again. Before I knew it, I was woken up to have my healer implants put in (yes, I walked out with a full set of teeth). Post surgery, day one the swelling started, and then the bruising but I had no pain other than the cuts at the corners of my mouth. I am now 8 days post surgery. No more swelling, just a small bruise on my chin and I can smile again. The implants did take getting used to as my bite is now corrected, but even that is a minor inconvenience. Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I've been to the Manahawkin offices before and have always had a positive experience, so I was surprised by how unprofessional my visit to the Cherry Hill office was. I arrived 5 minutes early for an 11:30 AM periodontal consultation. A staff member brought me back, never introduced herself, placed a bib on me, asked "Why are you here?" and "Are you a new patient?" while facing away from me, then left the room. And never came back. I sat alone in the exam room for 45 minutes with no update, no explanation, no apology, and no indication that anyone even remembered I was there. The only person I saw during that entire time was the receptionist. Delays happen. Patients understand that. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication and basic customer service. The staff member's dismissive demeanor, combined with the fact that I was effectively forgotten in an exam room, reflected a troubling lack of professionalism and respect for a patient's time. After 45 minutes, I walked out and left. A simple update, apology, or acknowledgment would have completely changed this experience. Unfortunately, none were provided. If patient communication and customer service matter to you, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
