This review is for Dr. Kindra Dietrich, DMD who is an associate in Dr. Ron S. White's office -- A crown on a molar that I had for many years fractured one evening. Never happens at a convenient time, right? To make matters worse, the portion of the broken crown that remained on the tooth was jagged, affected my bite, and I was concerned that I might actually inhale a piece of it as more of the crown continued to erode. Early the next morning, I called Dr. White's office and was told that they "could work me in with his associate" at noon that same day. I took the appointment. When I arrived, I was somewhat at ease because I was already familiar with the office staff and dental assistants BUT this was going to be my first experience with the "associate" dentist. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive. When all was said and done, I had one of THE BEST experiences I have ever had at a dental office - and I've had many. As a result, I strongly recommend Dr. Kindra Dietrich to my family, friends and you. Here's why: Remember, I had been worked into her already packed schedule. After Dr. Dietrich introduced herself and began examining my broken crown, I quickly learned that she was focused on providing me with the best experience and dental care possible. Rather than requiring me to come back later in the day to get the process started, she insisted on working through her lunch hour so I wouldn't have to make a 50-minute return drive. Within an hour, I had received some treatment options, had a temporary crown in place and had an appointment to set the permanent crown the following week. It's been a couple of weeks since the initial visit. The second appointment went very smoothly and her work on the permanent crown is great. All is good! His office is beautiful, professional and immaculate. Each member of his staff, from the receptionist to the dental assistants and hygienists provide world-class customer service. I lost a filling and went to another dentist that told me my tooth needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant for $5500 That did not seem right to me so I went to Ron White for a second opinion. I am glad I did. Ron installed a crown on my tooth for 25% of what it would have cost me for an implant. I was very impressed with Ron's high tech equipment and skill. He and his assistants installed my crown in one 2-hour appointment. It took about 30 minutes for them to manufacture a crown after taking a digital scan of my tooth. Nice environment there too. Yeah Ron! Over the years, I've observed that a significantly (and discouragingly) large percentage of medical offices don't have a clue about customer service. My theory is that medical professionals are basically technicians, and tend to stick with their "trade", leaving the running of the business to the "girls" up front. This was definitely NOT the case with my first visit and impression of Dr. Ron White's office. You know how you can walk into a business and just feel the owner's imprint on the staff (good or bad). That was my feeling here (positive). At risk of repeating what others have printed: beautiful and tastefully appointed facility; friendly and efficient staff; short waiting time; high-tech everything.. 3D printer, laser cleaning, etc; and yes, I was treated to a personal tour of the entire facility by the good dentist himself, all-the-world unhurried as though his entire day was set aside just for me. There, I've said it! I guess the final creme de la creme was receiving a nice personally addressed thank you letter after my first visit.. a form letter for sure, but Ron took the time to add a short handwritten note. I know, I know, even Walmart props up retirees at the front door to "greet" you, but still, these little touches just show the extra attention to detail this guy gives to his business. I can only assume, and hope, that the same detail will be given to my teeth! I will say, this is most assuredly not a discount dentist. You do pay well to be treated well, but then, you wouldn't seek out a discount heart surgeon either, would you! I found it worth the few dollars more to experience a pleasant and painless encounter! From the moment I called and booked my first appointment I was treated with the utmost respect & professionalism. What sets Dr. White's office apart from other dental practices is the excellent service & care everyone provides. My first appointment was delightful & I enjoyed the unexpected touches (each exam area has a large window that overlooks the green belt and I saw no less than 3 deer & many species of birds). How nice to feel so relaxed at a dentist office! Dr. White took me on a tour of his beautiful office & I was introduced to his excellent staff all of whom had the biggest smiles & were welcoming as well. Dr. White took his time to get to know me, listen to my concerns & really provide me the most comprehensive dental exam I've ever had. After photos & ex rays, he fully explained what he saw and gave me a full picture of how to best care for my teeth. No lectures, just an easy to understand plan to make sure my mouth, gums & teeth remain healthy. Can't believe I'm saying this but, I can't wait to my next trip to the dentist! read more

I chipped a tooth shortly after relocating to Dripping Springs and hadn't found a new dentist yet. I called Dr. White's office based on other 5 star online reviews and was so glad I did! They got me in quickly and had the tooth fixed within 15-20 minutes. They are quick, efficient and super friendly. Finding a new dentist is one of the more stressful issues associated with moving to a new town/state, but this was painless, both literally and figuratively! I had previously researched Dr. white via yelp prior to my dental visit. I liked what I saw and set up an initial appointment followed by by the dreaded cavity fillings (3 in total) in one morning. Dr. White was great! Quick, as painless as is possible, responsive to my comfort or lack thereof, and his assistant was a true joy. He was funny and just the right level of chatty and distracting. Loved the gorgeous picture window looking out on woodland, birds and squirrels plus the TV playing my choice of Food channel TV...highly comforting and appropriately distracting. Totally unscrupulous billing practices. Received a statement in the mail for $18.00 marked 90-days overdue. I have never paid a bill late in my life. When I called to rectify the situation, the receptionist told me that the account status is determined by when the insurance approves/denies the claim and/or there is a partial balance remaining to be paid. She went on to tell me that this isn't the first invoice they have sent. But, when I asked for details on when any other(s) were mailed, she couldn't answer the question and offered no follow-up. Basically just confirmed that, per their billing practices, I am 90-days overdue on a bill I had seen for the first time two days ago. Total BS and she was unapologetic. We have had several quotes for extractions and other dental work from Ron White. Always consistently 2x other dentists in the area. He's not the only game in town anymore. Kinda analogous to Trudy's. Gotta step up your game and quit being complacent. There is competition now. read more
