He came out to look at the project and said he would get back to me with an estimate. He quoted $1900 for the project and I told him that I would think about it. He called again and quoted $1400 so I agreed and told him that I wanted the estimate in writing. He insisted on having my email address to send the estimate and stated that he would not sell my information. Days pass and there is no estimate. He texted and asked if it would be okay if he came on Sunday around 8 or 9 to do the job. I said that was okay and he promised a written estimate before work began. He never showed up on Sunday. He texted Monday and said that he was busy with other customers on Sunday and maybe next weekend. If he had called that day I may have given him another chance but he's the one that set the appointment and I rearranged my schedule to accommodate him. I consider him unreliable and would not hire him and told him that I would find someone else. My email then exploded with spam messages. I guess he does sell information.

They mowed two properties for us, and one was for an 82-year old man with his wife being in a nursing home. Our primary concern was to ensure he got mowed so that he could handle his wife. In mid-June, his crew showed up, and he had mowed the week before (he was on every other week). We were there when they showed up as we were on our way to the nursing home to meet with hospice. We reminded the driver that this account was every other week. The driver got angry, slammed his door, and left to mow our lawn. Shortly thereafter, we got a text from the Owner Mark Diddens that he would not mow for the elderly man and for us. Yes, no good deed goes unpunished. We were shocked by the behavior and asked that he give us time to find someone else. Needless to say, that was challenging mid-season. Our elderly friend was extremely upset and had a meltdown. The staff at the nursing home did everything they could to get us a lawn mowing service. Even relatives of patients joined in. Thank you to everyone who helped us out. Please know how grateful we are to you. And, please know how extremely disappointed we were in Mark and the team at Precision Landscaping. This behavior is unacceptable, and please understand that when customers SIGN a "Statement of Work" for a defined time-frame (i.e., the ENTIRE season), they expect you to honor that commitment. Both of us SIGNED the document, paid you regularly (even when bills didn't arrive), and respected the relationship that we once had.
