Kind of a cool place, located within the lobby area of the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City. The bar is…read moreaccessible to the public. It's not especially large in terms of seating available, but it does have a pretty fair selection of whiskeys and other spirits for cocktails and mixed drinks. The seating they do have is very lounge-y, with comfortable armchairs and couches surrounding a series of low tables, and some stool seating at the bar. The staff have always been friendly, and the decor is definitely rural/western themed. Some plusses: Because it's in the hotel lobby, there's a ton more seating in the lobby area itself, which is very comfortable. Not only that, there's several restaurants located within the hotel, including The Tap House and Bob's Steak and Chop House ($$$$). Both are fantastic. So if you're meeting up for dinner with friends, you can loosen up with a drink at the Basin Bar first. Or after. Or whatever! Also, down the hall is a coffee shop and a small gift shop. The only real minus: their prices. You expect to pay a little higher at a bar/lounge for drinks, but this one struck me as steeper than normal. A Tom Collins (which was on the weak side) and an IPA cost $30 before the tip. The next night I stopped in for a couple of standard sized cans of IPA, and was charged $20, again before the tip. PRO TIP FOR MANAGEMENT: Less is more. Charge less, you'll have more customers and they'll spend more.

We love making a stop at Basin Bar anytime we visit or stay at the Omni Hotel downtown…read more They make an AMAZING espresso martini! The bar is very upscale yet warm. We have been several times when it has been pretty crowded, and we never have trouble getting service. The drinks are always made quickly and taste fresh. Go check out Basin Bar next time you're in the area!

Date night at Bar Arboloda. We thought we better go out last night in advance of the winter storm…read more We went early around 4:45 and there were three other people there. By the time we left the place was nearly full. Arbolada is a great neighborhood bar. Located in a historical building it is charming and cozy. A wonderful bar to have drinks with a small menu to satisfy your appetite. I ordered an Old fashion and Jan ordered an expresso martini. The happy hour prices for the old fashion was $7. The expresso martini is not a happy hour option. It was $12, and it was excellent. I never order them, but always taste Jan's. This was the best expresso martini I've ever tasted. For food I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was good and I enjoyed it, but I'm not a fan of chicken salad with grapes in it. Jan ordered a hamburger that was very good.. we shared an order of pimento cheese fries that were excellent. The prices are good, the noise low. The atmosphere fun and relaxed. You order at the bar and they deliver to your table.

The burger I would give a 8.5/10. It was cooked great with awesome flavor. I was hoping for a little more cheese/saucy flavor and that's why it wasn't a 9/10. This burger ranks as a top 3 in OKC currently amongst our burger testing group. If you want a good burger and are downtown OKC I'd definitely try this place out!

So much to say during my visit to the NCAA Tournament…read more.... First off, I apologize for not remembering names. That's not my strong suit. Humidor: It's small, but everything in stock is top shelf. Well stocked also. Staff is very helpful in finding what you're looking for and making recommendations. 10% off for military, vets, and first responders (cigars only). You can smoke on site, which is getting rare these days. Bar & staff: Nothing short of outstanding. Friendly, chatty (if you want that) and make the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. 3 different bartenders, 3 old fashioneds, all amazing. I told them they need to have a "mix off" for bragging rights. They're considering it. If Old Fashioned isn't for you, very wide selection of top shelf liquor, wine, and beer. Wanna play "Stump the Bartender"? I dare you. They'll know how to make it. Atmosphere: Lots of locals and a few visitors like me. Very welcoming. Told me a lot about the city and made me feel welcome. Definitely not a snooty "you're not from here," vibe. They welcomed me as one of their own. Not a sports bar, per se, but the games were on the one TV, which is fine with me. No kitchen on site. If you need food before your liquor, eat beforehand. Bottom line: My go to place in OKC. Should be yours also. Miss y'all already. Hope to be back soon.

I brought my wife and cousin here and they loved the drink prices. Plus it was an easy walk from our hotel which was super helpful. If I'm ever there during the week I'm going to for sure try out the food specials that they offer because it seemed like they offer pretty great options. The ambiance is a 12/10. I love a small spot that offers a big vibe and that's exactly what Stag does for me.

To me it was not spicy... I would have like more spicy heat. Overall, delicious! - Hot Rod Pizza | amazing flavor combination... crust sauce and toppings were all very yummy. Was good hot and even better the next day cold Service was great - friendly and upbeat staff. Large and lively establishment - I love how they had The Princess Bride playing on the big screen (muted). Definitely a good spot for groups. It was a little loud... so be prepared to compete with the crowd when having a conversation. Would I go back? Yes! So much more yumminess to try!

There was an OKC thunder watch party on the patio, so we sat there and enjoyed the game. The inside had a more laid back environment, but I enjoyed the patio. The food was really good too! Most of us got burgers, but we also enjoyed some good appetizers. Highly recommend the dip platter to start. Our server was really nice and attentive, despite the chaos of the watch party and a busy night. Highly recommend coming here for the food and events they host!
