Margarita Pizza
Jared H.

The ravioli was delicious! The sauce was chunky, had good flavor, and was very tasty. The garlic bread was very buttery with a strong garlic flavor which complimented the ravioli well. The cheese bread was made using mozzarella cheese so it wasn't over powering, however the bread was just a hoagie roll. The margarita pizza was tasty, although it did not contain many toppings.

We ordered the Roma's special to share and I ordered the ravioli and meatballs. The food and prices were solid. Our server was nice and patient. The area and parking situation could be better. Overall: I'd be interested in picking up a pizza to go in the future.

Really big chunks of white onion

I had another chance to try Roma's Pizza, this time sadly after my uncle's wake. The family ordered Roma's pizza because it was my uncle's favorite. They ordered three pizzas, two loaded with various meats and one vegetarian. The meat pizzas were loaded with 5-6 types of meats and sausages, etc...quite a pie for meat lovers. I enjoyed the vegetarian with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. The crust was delicious, it was tangy, a little salty, and homemade tasting. Craveable. The cheese was ample and delicious. FYI the bottom crust was dark but that's their style, and it was ok. It just goes to show everyone can have an off day, but this was a great pizza experience and a sweet memory to toast my uncle.

Spaghetti and enormous meatballs

It's all about the crust. I have been coming to this place for over 40 years. Thank goodness it never changes. The portions are huge and the pizzas have no equivalent in this part of the world. Old-fashioned/old school/an oldie, but a goodie. I especially enjoy the pizza margarita and the white pizza which is not listed on the menu. The two dining room rooms are strictly Italian America 1950s with their murals of Venice. Long live Romas.

Wow !!! I lové this Pizza!! Always cook perfect, Fresh and unbelievable toppings!! If you are in the Neighborhood or order it for delivery you won't be disappointed!!!

The pizza was ooey gooey and melty. The sausage was enormous and the crust was thin just like I like it!! My boyfriend and I shared the Roma Special in a size small and it was the perfect size for us. The waiter was really nice and personable. I love me a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant because you never know what to expect but this one was a really good choice for pizza! The seatings itself is not the most fancy but I'm mainly here for the food. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Absolutely horrible, worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was overly thick, and tasted like cardboard, the sausage tasted like dog food and it took forever to get our pizza. Total failer, I will never come here again.

Combination pizza

I found this pizza place on my way to work after reading the many positive reviews. I ordered a small combination pizza to go. The wait was about 15 minutes. The place looks ~ 30 years old and they have a small dining area where I waited. The service was very friendly. The hand tossed pizza was heavy on the meats but tasted great with the marinara sauce and excellent crust. I look forward to coming back to try their pasta and sandwiches.

Roma's

Only been here the one time. Small mom and pop place. They seemed to be a bit short staffed, but the woman helping us was a trooper and doing quite well for how busy it was. We got the combination, the Roma's, pepperoni, and the margherita. All were delicious!

Ravioli and meatballs

Remember the old school Italian restaurants? You know, the ones with great pizza, raviolis, spaghetti, meat balls and sausage? No fancy decorations and the aroma of delicious food. And bread. Lots of bread. This is THAT place! I enjoyed the ravioli and meatballs and my parents had the baked ravioli which was covered in tomato sauce and cheese. All plates were under $20 which is a rare find today. Check this place out. My family has been going here for years and it's always been fantastic. Can't wait to attack the left overs in the fridge!

Unfortunately,…read morethis time the sandwich was so skint I had to add chips inside it just to give it some substance. And speaking of chips... two small bags were $4 each. Were these chips hand-carved by artisans somewhere? Blessed by monks in the moonlight? I'm genuinely curious. I ordered the club, and I swear there was maybe one slice of turkey and a single, lonely piece of lettuce in the entire thing. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. Honestly, the sandwich felt a bit like a mime, the idea of a sandwich was there, but the substance was invisible. I even wondered if maybe the fillings weren't hungry themselves. By the end I felt less like I had eaten lunch and more like I had participated in a sandwich-themed illusion. Sadly, it looks like I'm Togo's-bound from here on out. I always root for unique local spots, but this felt more like a "Shamwich" than a sandwich. Tough times when the hungry leave hungry. Poor sand-wich-ship indeed.

The Italian roots and flavor are everywhere in the walls in decorations and antiques and the service. The deli was super busy and we had to wait a bit even though we ordered online but that is worth the wait. We came like at 3pm so can't imagine this place during lunch. Packed with people and the variety, freshness and quality is impressive. I had an egg sandwich....i know a little weird but it was delicious in a Dutch crunch. Bread was crunchy but soft just perfect. Wife had an Italian sandwich which was so full of meat and peoperocinis and other stuff she could only eat half. My daughter and husband shared a chicken parm sandwich and the Corti special which you pick bread and veggies and they put whatever meat they want. Kids loved their sandwiches and next time I am in Sac area I will definitely get the parm sandwich which was delicious. Very cool place and excellent service and the cost of the sandwiches???? "Forget about it"!!!! Wow so inexpensive would happily pay double and usually do at most other Deli's we have been to with half the flavor or size than this place. So much so that the insides fall out while I was eating my sandwich, and that's a good thing. It shows that the fillings are plentiful. They put a lot into each sandwich so it's sumptuous. The quality of the ingredients are really good. The Farm club sandwich is probably my favorite. It has real slices of chicken (not processed deli chicken meat), tomatoes, quite a bit of bacon, and greens (I believe it's arugula). The bread is really good too, it's a multi-grain or seed type of bread. The lunch I had came with a bag of Boulder Canyon potato chips and a cookie. I found out later, you can also either call your order in, or you can order pick up or delivery through DoorDash. I came back on the following Monday, and the place was still busy, but not as busy. They have a decent number of cash register stations taking orders. They have an extremely large menu. I counted 18 different Banh mi variations, and lots of other things For my starter, I wanted to try the. Pate chaud, which is pate in a puff pastry, but unfortunately, they were out. Instead, I got a mini steamed bao bun, with fried chicken in the middle. For my banh mi, I ordered the egg, sausage, and pork loaf, but instead, I got the grilled pork and egg. I'm not going to take off any stars or anything, because hey, misunderstandings happen, and it was still an amazing sandwich. They gave me a number, and it was a short wait for my sandwich. Between the registers and the people making the sandwiches in back, it's like an assembly line operation. They are quick, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing. I will definitely be back when I'm in South sac. Heck, that sandwich was so good, I would drive down from Rancho, just to get one. Thanks!

Let's start with parking. Yes, given the location of main street Stockton Blvd to residential, parking can be quite a challenge here. It almost gives the same vibes as trying to snag a curbside spot at Airport terminals for pick up. Next, ordering. If you've ever just walked up to the counter, placed an order and waited 45 minutes, you'll try to avoid that next time! So... I started ordering ahead of time on their website. It's very user friendly and easy to make selections. However, today, May 2026, while ordering on their website, it literally prompted me to select a time for the order to be ready. OK, I selected 9:20 am. Why was my order not ready till 9:40? Why do you even have a mobile ordering option if i have to wait for 3 guests ordering at the register??? And, finally, there is no expediting. There's usually only 1 cashier. The back office kitchen staff never really surface to greet anyone or ask for names to distinguish orders. Also, why is there not a defined line for mobile pick up orders vs everyone else. It's literally just a walk up cluster fudge of nothing! You order ahead, still have to wait. You order in person, you have to wait. You have questions? Good luck. All of quality and care definitely goes into the baking and foodie experience, but what this business doesn't take into account is that think about your devoted regulars and the impression left. I want to support your business. I live kinda close by, but if I have to wait and wait each time... zero clarity of flow when I do walk up... And pretty much no improvements from my last visit.... It's disappointing.

Our cashier's attention span was roughly that of a paper clip, but after slowing our speech to "caveman mode," we managed to place our order. We picked a table among the sea of empty ones, and that's when I noticed the first oddity: a full Twilight Zone network of footprint stickers, dozens of them, leading from the bathroom to the cashier like some tragic breadcrumb trail. This place has never been that busy, but hey, let the fantasy live on. I tried to toss a chip wrapper and discovered... no trash cans. None. In a warehouse-sized room that serves sandwiches. Sure. Then came the wait. We watched pickup orders fly out, listened to an invasion-level alarm beep nonstop, and, best part - saw walk-ins order, get served, and leave while we were still sitting like abandoned luggage. My wife finally asked if our order was anywhere in the realm of reality, and five minutes later it all arrived: sandwiches, soup, and chips. The "tomato bisque" was a burgundy mystery broth served lukewarm, which is bold considering it took thirty minutes to materialize. My wife's "build your own" veggie sandwich arrived loaded with red peppers, cucumbers, carrots and avocado, none of which she asked for. Mine, a turkey sandwich, was fine if you enjoy mayo soup between two pieces of bread. I couldn't finish mine (appetite fled the scene long ago), and when we got up to leave, the cashier cheerfully informed us we needed to bus our own table. She pointed to a single, nearly invisible trash can hiding behind the soda machines like it was part of a scavenger hunt. You could practically hear a tumbleweed roll by. If you enjoy wandering through a footstep-stickered fever dream, waiting ages for mediocre sandwiches, and being met with a level of rude indifference you can only get from people who are somehow underworked and overwhelmed at the same time - by all means, be their guest.
