I was a little disappointed that after buying food and a drink, I asked to switch the game system upstairs to the GameCube and was told no by the manager, Taylor, after initially being told by another employee it could be switched out easily since the GameCube was already at the upstairs bar. It was very slow and nothing was going on. For this to be an arcade bar and not switch out games for customers is a little baffling to me, especially as someone who works in the hospitality industry. It's not hard to do and it's an easy adjustment. That's pure laziness. I immediately closed out my tab and left. I walked there just for that. That's one way to drive out customers.

The staff are very knowledgeable about dance shoes (something I know nothing about) and are willing to take time to make sure they find a perfect fit, even if that means trying on all 5 different widths of ballet shoes they have in stock. The shoes are also very reasonably priced- we have checked online and the prices here are always within $5 of Amazon's prices, with ShowBiz usually being a little cheaper than Amazon. They have tights, pants, etc. in children's sizes that are professional quality- my daughter uses some of her dancewear to run in because the quality and fit are so much better than what she finds in children's running clothes. They also sell gymnastics leotards. Don't let the specialty nature of this store scare you- there is something here for every budget. There's really no reason to go buy junky, blister-causing shoes from a big box store when you can get professional quality gear for the same price at a locally owned business.

They welcome every guest that walks through the doors the same way, with a big smile, and everyone gets a rundown of how things work. They're also great with kids. They make each one feel really special and like it's all about them. You never feel rushed, even when it's close to closing time. They have a huge selection of pieces to choose from, and several items painted around the store that you can use for inspiration. It's only $7 to paint on top of the item you pick, and the items are very reasonably priced. If you're not artistic (like myself), they have plenty of "specialty" paints and they're only $1/ea. We picked up our first project a few days ago and they look amazing. I can't wait to pick up the second lot and then go back and paint more. This is great for friends, date night, kids, or just a fun day out. Don't forget to tip the staff! They deserve it! See you all soon :)
