I had a Vinyl Luxury Floor installed from Floors Plus in Nixa a few years ago and was very…read moreimpressed with the install. As time went on my floor did not look like it should have because dirt would get trapped in it without being able to scrub it out. I have animals and need an easy clean up floor due to heavy traffic with the dogs. I needed new carpet in the master bedroom so I revisited Rob and Scott at floors plus and they assured me the floor must have had a defect with the wear layers. They sent several people out to see the floor and contacted Shaw letting them know about the defect. This was during Covid and I know there was a lot of shortages with workers. With Rob's insistence, Shaw came through and Rob had my floor replaced. I don't believe any other company would have gone through great lengths to make sure this was fixed and floor replaced. This just reinforced my feeling that they are the best. My floor was a huge area spanning from kitchen, dining room through living room and hallway. Looks Great! Thank you to everyone at Floor's Plus! G. Wise

The product we sought came with options, so she gave us space to investigate them and make a final selection. We found the pricing for the flooring to be very competitive for the quality of the product. We found the employees who loaded our truck with the flooring to be very efficient and mindful in their task. We will be back for future flooring needs.

The manufacturer approved to only have two of the four rooms (and staircase) carpet replaced due to defects. However, the other rooms carpet were from the same lot. So, the entire house needed to be replaced. The manufacturer sent a team out to analyze the carpet, and the team agreed the entire house needed to be replaced because the glue was defective and the strands were too short. However, the manufacturer ran their own tests and of course denied the claim. This has now been over 1.5 years and nothing has been done to actually fix the situation and there are hundreds of snags and pulls in the carpeting. For two people this seems quite extreme especially for nearly $10,000 worth of carpeting. While I recognize Mouery's tried to help, the customer is still the only one out thousands of dollars with an entire house full of defective carpet. So, once again the consumer is the only one who loses. When will companies actually do what they say they are going to do?

Ozark Carpet & Flooring - This is what the carpet looked like after just a couple of months

My husband and I always try to use local businesses when possible instead of the big box stores to…read morehelp boost the local economy. We chose Ozark Carpet and Flooring just for this reason. We purchased one of their best carpets with a 25 year warranty for 5 rooms plus the stairway. It took over 2 months to get the carpet, even though we were told it would be just a couple of weeks. We were ok with the delay, although we were the ones that had to check in to see what the status was on the delivery and install window. Customer service did not seem too important to them. We finally got it installed after a few months (March, 2024), and it looked great in our home. However, after just a couple of months, there was a spot on the living room carpet that was crushed and completely worn out. We tried several times to contact both owners, both by phone and email concerning this problem. After a few weeks, one of them replied, and then they made an appointment to come out and look at the carpet for themselves in December, 2024. They assured us that this spot was definitely a defect, and that it would be replaced under warranty. And that as soon as the holidays were over, they would take care of this. We never received any direct contact from the business after this, until we called to check on the status. This also took several calls and messages left before we received any reply back. Not sure why nobody ever answers the phone at this particular business, or messages are not returned in a timely manner. When we finally did get someone to return our call, we were told that the replacement carpet was ordered, and it should be received in about 3 weeks. We called back again after 5 weeks, and once again, no answer, and no return call. We waited a couple of more weeks, called again, and got no answer. After several more calls, we finally got someone to pick up the phone. We were told that the replacement carpet was there, and had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. Really? No call to let us know this? We then asked when it would be installed, and we were told it would definitely be scheduled for installation the week before Easter, and that they would call us with an exact date and time. Easter came and went....no call....no install. We called once again about 5 more times before reaching anyone. We were then told by John that the install would be May 8th. On May 8th, they then called and cancelled. This after we just moved all of the furniture out of the room for the install! We were then told that it would be rescheduled for the next day at 10:00 a.m. Next day, May 9th, at 11:00 a.m., we called once again, since nobody had yet showed up. This has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with this defective carpet and the poor customer service. This kind of service, or lack of, puts a horrible blemish on the other small businesses that are trying to make ends meet. We will definitely be looking elsewhere for our flooring needs in the future, and would never recommend this business to anyone.

I cannot recommend the work Justin was able to do with current staffing and supply pressures. I had…read moreto make a choice between closing the contract to pay the prices below for unprofessional work or leaving it open to wait for Justin to finish; he admitted he did not have the crew to keep up with what I needed so I took the financial hit. I shared this review material with him before he accepted my final payment. The project: 1,800 square foot home, left completely empty so that all old paint/floor/trim could be gutted and replaced with a new look for us to move into. All prices are labor only. I suggested a discount on final prices across the board, but he stands behind the price and says it's actually thousands of dollars short of the value. Paint - billed at $5,294. Primer and ceilings were good (a healthy application of Kilz removed odor we were worried about), as were some of the easiest open areas (light color). All colors were otherwise uneven, with virtually no finishing work done at ceiling/walls meet. There were extra gallons of paint purchased and on site for each color (including a lot left open to dry in the air) above what I was told would be sufficient, much of which remained unused. A bad paint mix was on site and the painter improvised before checking with me, butchering an "accent" closet that will have to be completely re-primed and painted. Holes were left, fixtures/receptacles/hinges/etc. were splashed with paint. He said I didn't mention wanting holes covered for a new paint job; I did, but this doesn't seem like something you would need to ask for in a professional paint job. I would've lived with fixtures/mirrors/towel racks/curtain rods etc. not being removed for full paint, had they not all been smeared with paint while the wall around them was not covered. He said they didn't bother to dodge any of the fixtures because some were already old and yellow. I will attempt to clean the heater and kitchen island (the house was completely empty except for these few items) but have to paint all of our cabinets due to a lack of taping and care from Justin's crew. We are buying over 100 new hardware pieces in all rather than cleaning them all. Trim - billed at $1,825 for install and partial paint. Okay installation some places, some very poor installation. He measured short on three separate orders, so a significant amount of base, window, and door trim is still bare. At Justin's suggestion I went with a square molding look, with him sending examples of how nice it would look, but considering how sloppy it ended up I regret not insisting on a more conventional angled approach. Paint was only applied over limited caulk and nail holes rather than painting entire beams, which are currently a misfit bunch of primered pieces. Floor - billed at $4,437 ($2,800 labor install, extra for repairs and demo). Pretty good vinyl plank install. Subfloor issues were spotted and fixed (including leveling). Same pattern ran the length of the home with no seam breaks needed, as hoped. Floor vent holes were not cut to correct size. He mentioned they were working around some of the planks that were misprinted/chipped from the factory so I asked to hold those back for me to return and replace with new pieces. They never got that organized and eventually just used them all so there are imperfections. He said my flooring was too cheap to worry about being that picky. Bathroom - billed at Vanities (2x) $400 / Shower $250 / 2x Toilet installs $225. Justin discovered leak and install issues and gave me clear steps on what would be needed. The plumbing had to be redone at the connection points by the next contractor. The bath/shower unit and vanities are in place but without completed hardware and not hooked to plumbing. The bath unit is half installed--Justin realized on the last day of wrapping up the project that the shower half would not fit with the current construction. Now I'm having to demo and rebuild my wall to finish the shower--they cracked the installed part and trashed the packaging leaving me with no return option. He blames the units I bought, which were on property from week 1. Other - Several items were not completed or even not started from the original bill and we disagreed who was responsible for some of the losses. Not all of my money was wasted on this contract, but I paid in total over $7k for items billed as complete that we're re-doing, and another couple thousand to replace and repair property from damage done. He charged me full price for as-is work shown above, and said he would repair and finish if I continued with him. However, these are mostly things that had been untouched for over a month, and he was at the point of needing advanced payments just to keep his crew on the job. I had given one advance against my better judgment to guarantee the bathrooms would be finished immediately by a plumber, only for that never to happen (no refund was given).
