The manufacturer approved to only have two of the four rooms (and staircase) carpet replaced due to defects. However, the other rooms carpet were from the same lot. So, the entire house needed to be replaced. The manufacturer sent a team out to analyze the carpet, and the team agreed the entire house needed to be replaced because the glue was defective and the strands were too short. However, the manufacturer ran their own tests and of course denied the claim. This has now been over 1.5 years and nothing has been done to actually fix the situation and there are hundreds of snags and pulls in the carpeting. For two people this seems quite extreme especially for nearly $10,000 worth of carpeting. While I recognize Mouery's tried to help, the customer is still the only one out thousands of dollars with an entire house full of defective carpet. So, once again the consumer is the only one who loses. When will companies actually do what they say they are going to do?

We purchased one of their best carpets with a 25 year warranty for 5 rooms plus the stairway. It took over 2 months to get the carpet, even though we were told it would be just a couple of weeks. We were ok with the delay, although we were the ones that had to check in to see what the status was on the delivery and install window. Customer service did not seem too important to them. We finally got it installed after a few months (March, 2024), and it looked great in our home. However, after just a couple of months, there was a spot on the living room carpet that was crushed and completely worn out. We tried several times to contact both owners, both by phone and email concerning this problem. After a few weeks, one of them replied, and then they made an appointment to come out and look at the carpet for themselves in December, 2024. They assured us that this spot was definitely a defect, and that it would be replaced under warranty. And that as soon as the holidays were over, they would take care of this. We never received any direct contact from the business after this, until we called to check on the status. This also took several calls and messages left before we received any reply back. Not sure why nobody ever answers the phone at this particular business, or messages are not returned in a timely manner. When we finally did get someone to return our call, we were told that the replacement carpet was ordered, and it should be received in about 3 weeks. We called back again after 5 weeks, and once again, no answer, and no return call. We waited a couple of more weeks, called again, and got no answer. After several more calls, we finally got someone to pick up the phone. We were told that the replacement carpet was there, and had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. Really? No call to let us know this? We then asked when it would be installed, and we were told it would definitely be scheduled for installation the week before Easter, and that they would call us with an exact date and time. Easter came and went....no call....no install. We called once again about 5 more times before reaching anyone. We were then told by John that the install would be May 8th. On May 8th, they then called and cancelled. This after we just moved all of the furniture out of the room for the install! We were then told that it would be rescheduled for the next day at 10:00 a.m. Next day, May 9th, at 11:00 a.m., we called once again, since nobody had yet showed up. This has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with this defective carpet and the poor customer service. This kind of service, or lack of, puts a horrible blemish on the other small businesses that are trying to make ends meet. We will definitely be looking elsewhere for our flooring needs in the future, and would never recommend this business to anyone.

The sales associate that helped with the flooring purchase was amazing. Everything after that, not…read moreso much. Purchased and arranged delivery on Tuesday, even had an employee from the delivery team confirm details while in the store. Called on Friday to confirm time and were told we weren't on the delivery schedule. We had a receipt including a $100 delivery fee. We were told they couldn't deliver until Monday, so we offered to come pick it up and the delivery fee be reversed. The only way to get a refund was to pick up a check in the store. Deciding this was suspicious, we asked to cancel the order. After being asked to hold, they came back to let us know they would deliver that day between 4:30 and 5:30. At 5:30, we receive a call that they could not find the house because they did not have the exact address. The exact and entire address that was collected on 2 different invoices and printed on both sales slips. Cheap flooring, indeed. The sales associates, Cody, fantastic. Beyond that just know you may or may not get your flooring on time and if you want a refund on credit, it's not going to happen. ​​

They were supposed to give us a discount since we didnt get the carpet we originally ordered. Today im told that we dont get a discount because there was stains on the carpet they left here because of the dogs and they had to throw it out. There was nothing ever agreed on or signed saying to keep dogs off the carpet. We never even asked them to leave behind white freaking carpet to begin with. We have kids and animals and shit happens. Very unprofessional company so everyone beware! The so called discount flooring is not worth the hassle. The only good thing was the installer who was very good. The fact is I never asked for the wrong carpet to be left. It should have been rolled up and taken back to the store as soon as it was made clear it was the wrong stuff. The whole experience could have been handled more professionally. Nobody would have even contacted me today to even tell me the issue if I hadn't reached out about it. Treat your customers better!

They came out and measured gave us a very reasonable quote seemed very nice and professional. When…read morethey arrived to do the job they had mismeasured and the quote went up by 2000 dollars approximately. They promised they would grind the floors to make smooth when they applied the epoxy finish. They said they would be smooth after multiple confirmations with them. They did the job on a Friday and came back saturday to do the top layer. We were told to not walk on until Sunday however we did look at them from the steps and they appeared extremely textured and rough. Sunday when time was almost up we sent pictures explaining how unsatisfied with the floor as I could not even walk across in socks without snagging and no way could I mop them. They came back on Monday and put another thicker layer of top coat. We let them dry as told and looked over them it appeared very half-assed. They have streaks and heavy areas and thinner areas. There are clumps of flake they are not smooth at all. There is plastic stuck in the clear coat you cant remove and under the stairway they didn't recoat it and is as rough as originally started. Multiple times it was discussed we wanted smooth and while it was a large area abotu 1575 sq feet total, they assured. Now we cannot get a response to resolve this. They say no matter what they do we won't be happy and that is not the truth. The truth is at 9390 of our hard earned money. They boast on communication and doing the right thing but they will no longer respond and help us fix this. They are supposed to warranty the floors for 4 years and I have nothing showing this other than my estimate for the work and their website. They also did not give us a receipt. They have our cash, we have a piss poor floor that albeit is bareable is not what we were supposed to get and assured of. I would not recommend them if this is how they do business and cannot try to work with the customer to correct. I have all this documented so if anyone is thinking of it. It is not what they appear or seem to be. Bad business.
